Just updated to 4.3. (Galaxy Note 2) All fine. Only one problem:
Lost Swedish as input language. (But English and Chinese still present.)
I choose add input language. It says tap to download (Swedish). The download progress bar appears but never starts to fill. Wait long. Finally it says "download failed".

After update to 4.3 I lost Swedish input language. Trying around I mistakenly set Thai display language for the phone, including setup. I do not speak Thai and do not know know how to set back English.

There is NO keyboard or text entry widget... I try to create an new account so i get that form that asks for my email and pass... but when I click on it i get a Google vocal input thing that does not do the work anyway... I went to setting, turned it off, still no keyboard...

I find this real annoying because not just the pop ups are always in landscape but also it does not start or close smoothly and by the way it looks ugly..so is it be possible to make the camera start as other apps in that mode I actually hold my phone?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI received the notification there was a new software update available(I assume it is the 4.3 update) so i went ahead with the update. The s3 was on charge so no problems there.
The update started and went to 100% and then the device restarted and now it is frozen on the Samsung start up screen. I have tried a reset (power button and home button) but this did not have any affect the Start up screen remained,i tried to boot the phone is safe mode(power home and vol up buttons) and this did not have any effect either.
I pulled out the battery to restart the phone and it still remains frozen on the samsung start up sceen.
Ci need my phone for business over the weekend and i dont have a backup phone.
I updated my phone (GS3) two days ago and after I did I have 4 "download complete" notifications that won't go away. Even after clearing them they come back. The files cannot even be located on my phone anywhere. I downloaded these ages ago through Chrome.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my shiny new Nexus 7 three days ago and connected it to my gmail account. Then I tried searching the play store and it doesn't seem to be working properly - apps like iPlayer and Evernote are 'not compatible with my device' and when I search for other apps I don't get the proper, basic ones like camera, only independently made ones that are less popular. When I try to download these I get an error message - Error while retrieving information from server (RPC:S-7 EOS:AEC-O). So I tried looking for solutions on the internet - sync it, remove Google account and put it back on, I've even tried setting up an entirely new email, but nothing has worked. I've noticed my device has a permanent sync error but nothing has remedied that. This is all terribly annoying as a device is pretty useless without apps, although I managed to download Facebook right when I got the tablet. The internet works fine, and my Wi-Fi is strong.

I tried to clear cache for the app and still now go....also tried to download using WiFi and 4G still no go
Another Issue I am having is that the Geo-Tag and the camera used to tagged correctly in hebrew and now all of a sudden it tags in arabic.
BBC iPlayer switches my tablet off if I try to resume playing a downloaded programme after I've switched tablet off. I emailed iplayer support who claimed they had not come across this problem. I think it might have been since 4.4.2 was installed.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a Galaxy S3, that was completely factory reset with JB 4.1.2.
I downloaded a couple of .jpg files to use as backgrounds, but then decided not to use them - but left them on the device (not in the original download location however)
A couple days ago I received the 4.3 update from AT&T, which seemed to go off without a hitch. But now, the 3 files I downloaded seem to continue to download. - at least I get a notification that the files are downloaded (3 different notifications).
I deleted the files to see if that would stop it - no luck.
I went to Chrome and closed all the tabs (a couple were still open to the location I downloaded them from) - no luck.
When I get the notifications, if I click on it, it says it can't find the file.If I just clear it off, they come back a few hours later.
Google Chrome doesn't trust my university's website where all of my school documents and resources are, and thus won't let me download any files from the site. It's nothing crazy or illegitimate, it's my school's site... it just makes it difficult when I want to download pdf files or word documents to work on the go. Any remedy at all aside from downloading on my computer and saving to Google drive?

First, I am wondering about how to change the download folder of the chrome browser. I can't find the option to change it.
Second, I'm a bit confused about two sd cards shown in my "es datei explorer". There is a "sd card" and a "extsd card" which I suppose to be the real card. What's the first one?
I have galaxy s4 mini (GT19195 , 4.2.2).
the problem is that i can't upload/download anything through all the applications that i install (WhatsApp,Facebook,foursquare...). Everytime that i try to upolad or download an item it always fail.
i noticed that the folders by Default created with those applications are not there from the beginning so i tried to create them manually but it didn't work.
i removed the external sd card so that i can install the applications directly in the internal sd card but no thing changed.
Maybe if i root my phone it will work but it doesn't resolve the situation.
one important thing that i notice is that the application installed with the system (not the new ones) like gmail give me the possibility to upload/download without a problem.
i tried to move the new applications to the folder /system/app in order to be executed the same way as the system applications but no change.
is there anyway I can use the songs I download from Play store on power amp?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using our country local brand walton primo gh2 phone. In notification area i see "Downloading English (US) ", under it download paused. First three or four time i tapped and hold and its took me to Language and input option and shows me that update and every time it stacked on 64%. after that when i again i tapped and hold it shows just app info nothing else and i cant remove it from my notification area. Its very annoying to see and some file goes to queue under it too download never start and i have to restart downloads. I am using android 4.2.2.

I select the page where all the apps are...select xbmc app...sometimes it flicks back to main apps page other times the screen turns black/blank. View 2 Replies View RelatedI live in Belgium, the Dutch part, and we use AZERTY keyboards here. My phone is in Dutch, but I could only choose "Dutch (The Netherlands)". In the Netherlands they speak dutch but use QUERTY. So, what I did was leave my phone in "Dutch (The Netherlands)", but I am using the French AZERTY keyboard.
The problem is, that the autocorrect now is also in French. When i typ a word the autocorrect shows a dutch suggestion, a french sugestion and an english suggestion. By default (pressing the spacebar) the phone chooses the French suggestion. Is there anyway to have an AZERTY keyboard and have the Dutch suggestion by default?
Updated my X10 abou 3days ago to Android 2.1 and ever since I can not display the Japanes keyboard. I have set location as Japanese but the standard keyboard option does not give me Japanese option for input language. I can read and browse Japanse without problem but when I create message, or simply reply e-mails /Text, I can not input any Japansese. It was working find before the update. Does anybody have a clue??
