I think downloading is disabled, but can't find it under settings/apps, so I can't find a way to enable it. Play store won't open. My browser does not have the menu button (square with three bars in it). I am using new Nexus 7 with Android 4.3.1.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have Qmobile Noir A10. It's old version is 4.0 ice cream sandwich. I have update it's software to 4.1.1 jelly bean. But after upgrading it is giving me play store error.
I have used a method which is
Delete the google account
go to the apps
play store
remove cashe
clear data
Restart your mobile
After doing this method it is only work 2 to 3 times. But after sometime it is giving me error again.
It will open for less than a second, I once got it to say, "Unfortunately, Google Play has stopped" or something along those lines.
Cleared cache, nothing. Cleared data, it got as far as letting me accept terms and in the notification bar told me I had apps to update, but then shut down again. As far as I can remember Play Store was working before I updated.
I updated on a rooted Galaxy S 3. I was running stock everything, I believe. I had only changed the camera shutter noise.
For some reason I'm not getting my phone read buy play store I have the galaxy note 2? I know grand theft vc is compatible with the phone and I already purchased it some time ago.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI wanted to go to the play store on my tab to update an app I had but I couldn't connect to the store at all. So I went to the my account under the in the settings app and I saw that its been having some sync issues. I kept retrying the sync but it kept failing. So I deleted the account off of my tablet and tryed to log back in. Now it won't even log in and its telling me it can't establish a reliable connection to the server and takes me to the WiFi options in settings.
I dont know whats wrong. My internet works perfectly fine. I can surf the web, watch videos, download and even play apps that require an online connection on my tab but I can't use any Google services for some reason.
I Factory Reset my Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 and after that I found the Google play Store was missing. I tired various ways to recover it but i'm not able to get it back.Also I tried manual way but i'm getting error 'unfortunately Google play store has stopped'.
I'm even not able to update my device. when updates are downloaded it ask to reboot the device. But after rebooting the failure message appears and it ask to do the update through Computer using Kies. Here also it says you device is not supported.
I got a new Experia Z Tablet this morning and I'm ready to throw it out of the window in a minute. I have been on android for a long time with the same email. Gmail address. I received my new tablet this morning. Turned it on and after setting up logged in with my email that have used for years and am currently using on a HTC one but I'm getting the 403 error whenever try to download an app or even re populate the tablet with the same apps I have on my phone. I've researched lots and tried the deleting cash and stop services etc. Still no joy.
I've factory reset tablet. Kept on wifi and tried again. Still the same. I've made a new Gmail account. Tried again. Still the same. I'm at a loss to what to do. If even after making a new Google log in etc it won't work where do I go now. I don't want multiple accounts I just want to have the same account across my phone and tablet. Oh and it's the lte version by the way. I've tried not entering any mobile network details and using only wifi at first and it doesn't work. Then I tried not using wifi but only using the mobile network and still the same. Also the is no proxy setting in mine to delete. I don't mind factory resetting again as I've got nothing on here anyway as I can't download any apps. With any account. Old or new.
My Google play store randomly stopped working earlier today. It isn't closing or crashing. It is just endlessly loading. No time out message or error message. Tried with both 4g and wifi. I am using a Galaxy s3 on Verizon, jelly bean 4.3. The only thing I noticed is that Clash of Clans updated this morning but I was able to get on and download the update and then get back on play store but like not long after that it won't open.
View 5 Replies View RelatedGetting "no connection" when I try to run Play Store app on my LG Optimus L9, rooted phone. I've tried everything I could find on various forums to fix this. Adjusted date/time, switched from manual date/time and back to auto from internet, deleted "hosts" file from the system/etc folder, emptied cache and wiped data from the app using titanium backup, and some other things I can't even remember now. I found a site where I could download a more current version of the Play Store app in an apk file and install it (AndroidPolice site). Is that likely to fix this "no connection" issue? I currently have android 4.1.2, and my Playstore app is 4.0.25. I've also wiped data and cleared cache and restored Google Play services. I haven't tried uninstalling either Play Services or Play Store because I'm afraid to do that. I did use Autorun Manager to make them not load on reboot, but that didn't change anything, so I set them back to automatically load. I also tried freezing them both and separately one at a time.

Google voice search showing as installed in play store but when i check in my apps on my phone voice search is not showing.
I'm in a group next with numerous people, mainly iPhone users and group text works perfectly fine with them. However, when receiving text from other android users (GS3 & Note 3), I receive their text separately.
I am currently on a GS3 on 4.3 using the stock messaging app.
After recently updating to the latest android 4.3 on my Note 2, I suddenly cannot play voicemails through my car bluetooth anymore. I can still make and receive calls through the car and therefore dial into my voicemails, but cannot just play back a specific message directly from my list of voicemails within the voicemail program - its the stock program that came with the phone. I can also play back directly through my bluetooth headset, just not to my car audio anymore. What gives? Obviously something changed with the update that I cant figure out. This is the last time I ever do an update unless its absolutely necessary, it seems like every time something gets jacked up that takes me hours to resolve.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just updated my S3 to 4.3 (my network is 3 - UK) and the phone is so slow! All programs crash after a few minutes of going onto them. I keep getting messages like "unfortunately the process com.android.phone has stopped".
Also I have no mobile network!! Everytime I click on mobile data is tells me to "insert an active sim to access network" but when I put the sim in my brothers phone the sim works.
I really don't want to do a factory reset as I have a lot of internal things saved such as pics and whatsapp conversations that I really need!
Is it possible to go back to 4.2?
I recently purchased a Galaxy S3, that was completely factory reset with JB 4.1.2.
I downloaded a couple of .jpg files to use as backgrounds, but then decided not to use them - but left them on the device (not in the original download location however)
A couple days ago I received the 4.3 update from AT&T, which seemed to go off without a hitch. But now, the 3 files I downloaded seem to continue to download. - at least I get a notification that the files are downloaded (3 different notifications).
I deleted the files to see if that would stop it - no luck.
I went to Chrome and closed all the tabs (a couple were still open to the location I downloaded them from) - no luck.
When I get the notifications, if I click on it, it says it can't find the file.If I just clear it off, they come back a few hours later.
The jellybean box itself turns on and the home screen loads up. I select the page where all the apps are...select xbmc app...sometimes it flicks back to main apps page other times the screen turns black/blank. I can't get further than this page....my box has worked perfectly for the past 3 months since purchasing. I can't get into the settings page as I can't get past the blank .

Yesterday i saw under notifications that "google+" is auto-updating to latest version. but because of i don't want to use google+ (and i can't uninstall it), i pressed and hold (during the update-process - on the notifications bar) and tapped on "App Info". From there i selected to stop the task, cleared the data and deactivated. Then it was gone also from the notifications. -- i know i could have tapped only once and stopped the update in playstore, but i just wanted to make it quick.
But the problem started there: when i want to open playstore, it shows up for a second then closes back again with a FC. Reboot didn't worked.
I have done clearing data of "Google Play Store" and "Google Services Framework" and rebooting but this did not solve the problem.i received 3 Update-Notifications for some apps but when i tapped on the notification, playstore opens then closes after a second the same way.
I got also a com.google.gapps (as far as i remember) FC-error sometimes..I wanted to install the playstore from an apk, but interestingly i couldn't download anything from the (stock) internet browser (the download does simply not start or the download-page closes). I also tried with Chrome to download, but there i even got FCs when i wanted to download anything. So i think this has to do something with the playstore-problem.is there a way i could fix this, without restoring the whole phone?
I have a problem with my Android Tablet (not sure if Android 4.1/4.2/4.3 but well, possibly). I wanted to use it for a bit, but it froze right when I opened the browser. I pressed the switch button, it went black and then it didn't switch on or did anything at all. After a while, it worked again, not really, but well, it showed the last thing I was doing while using it, but it was still frozen and I couldn't do anything. Now it stays like that and nothing happens. I tried pressing the switch button (together with the up/down volume), but nothing happens. It stays like that, turned on and frozen. My friend suggested me to leave it like that until the battery dies (when I was last using it, it had 40-30% battery left).
My tablet is from a network brand (or whatever it is called), Cosmote (Cosmote MyTab) and it worked perfectly so far ): I'll take it to a service if it still stays like that, but I would avoid that, since my parents will think I did something wrong, even if I didn't!
I've got a problem with my play store. I have Samsung galaxy S3 and the problem is that my play store doesn't show me most of apps, I can't even find angry birds. I used my friend's email to log into play store and the problem's gone. Everything work fine. I created a new email account but it still doesn't work I can only fully use play store using his email.
I updated my phone (GS3) two days ago and after I did I have 4 "download complete" notifications that won't go away. Even after clearing them they come back. The files cannot even be located on my phone anywhere. I downloaded these ages ago through Chrome.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've been using the Galaxy Note 3 for the last 2 months but I still have my iPhone 5. Something that I've noticed is that a lot of videos that play on ios don't play on android. And if I can play the video on my Android then the video is much more laggy and not as clear than on my iPhone 5. These are regular websites like sports websites (nhl, nba, espn etc) or Team Stream app/website, or random other sites that have videos for mobile devices. Sometimes (with my Android) on sites, the video shows the play button, but the video still doesn't play. I don't understand this because on my iPhone 5 the videos play perfectly, load much quicker, play and look smoother, and just look more clear. Or is this just something that android lacks in its OS?

If you go to the play store website and search "super download," you get no results. its as if the app dont exist.

I've seen this happen with the adobe flash program and a few others.
I don't know if the problem is the O.S. or the stock SMS app (Messages v5.0.582145). But here's the problem:
Most of the time I have a notification icon when I have unread SMS. But sometimes I don't get the notification. The issue seems to occur when I am in one SMS thread and a message comes in on another thread. Or if I leave the app running with a single thread open (as opposed to the "All messages" screen). So I end up with unread SMS messages and no notification. The consequence is that I don't see the stupid message until hours or a day later when I happen to notice the little blue line next to one thread while on the "All messages" scren. The blue line indicates "new/unread message" in the Messages app.
I think it's a bug either in the google O.S. or the google SMS app "Messages". I'm not asking for your favorite notification app.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got my shiny new Nexus 7 three days ago and connected it to my gmail account. Then I tried searching the play store and it doesn't seem to be working properly - apps like iPlayer and Evernote are 'not compatible with my device' and when I search for other apps I don't get the proper, basic ones like camera, only independently made ones that are less popular. When I try to download these I get an error message - Error while retrieving information from server (RPC:S-7 EOS:AEC-O). So I tried looking for solutions on the internet - sync it, remove Google account and put it back on, I've even tried setting up an entirely new email, but nothing has worked. I've noticed my device has a permanent sync error but nothing has remedied that. This is all terribly annoying as a device is pretty useless without apps, although I managed to download Facebook right when I got the tablet. The internet works fine, and my Wi-Fi is strong.
