Jelly Bean :: Remove Files From Galaxy S3 Without Using Touch Screen

My galaxy s3 screen has broken. It didn't shatter but it does not light up or respond to touch. I know it is on because the light in the upper corner that blinks for notifications works and the soft keys light up when the power/lock button and volume button are pushed. I can not see or save what I have on my phone through Kies because I cannot unlock it. Is there was any other way to unlock a phone like through a website or program without using the touchscreen?

I just recently got an optimus G e970. I downloaded CM10.2.zip and gapps.zip for the rom.I used "adb push CM10.2.zip /sdcard/" to move the files files to my sdcard and i sucessfully installed cyanagenmod BUT i can't delete the .zip files left behind.
When i go to recovery mode, i see the files in my sdcard but there are not options to remove it. I connected the phone to my PC and i can't see CM10.2.zip and gapps.zip file in my sdcard. I tried installign root explorer and esfile explorer and enabled hidden files but i can't find this file in my sdcard (internal storage) or sdcard1 (physical sdcard). However, i can still see them in recovery mode, BUT again there is not option to remove the .zip files in recovery mode.!

touch screen not working on 7 inch pad. Have done a factory reset and of course wiped everything clean to start new but no luck.
how to fix a non-responsive touch pad? Would hate to throw away a perfectly good pad!

(current version android 4.2.2) The prob: the microphone does not work well! also beug camera! So j want now (if possible) remove the root and restore the original values! and make it to: 4.1.2

I have a Galaxy S3 that I just had the glass replaced on after cracking it. Now since I have got it back the screen will freeze up on me and I have to lock the screen then go back in and I can use it again. Is there a way that I can fix this issue other than turning it in. I am running 4.3 and it is from Cricket if that makes any difference.

I just got my new T-Mobile galaxy s4 from insurance a few weeks ago (first one got stolen). I updated to 4.3 shortly after. Everything was good at first but lately I've been having major problems
◎Wifi keeps switching to 4g when phone locks
◎security notice keeps popping up every time the WiFi reconnects
Now before joining AC I tried the disable Knox method for the security notice because I thought that was making my WiFi buggy. It doesn't solve the problem
◎has incredibly slow lag on lock screen. When i say incredible i mean VERY slow.
◎the notifications bar looks solid when having lock screen lag
◎the WiFi won't automatically reconnect
◎the WiFi will turn off every few minutes without my knowledge and drains my data plan

I have a Galaxy S4 (Verizon) with Android 4.2.2, phone is only a couple weeks old. This phone randomly goes to the lock screen while I'm in the middle of typing a text message. Doesn't do it every time, but enough to be very annoying. I've tried rebooting and removing/re-installing the battery, still the same.

I have used my Galaxy Note 2 together with an All-Share dongle showing screen mirroring with projector. This has been working perfectly for months but when I got N2 updated to Android 4.3 the screen mirroring gets connected but immediately disconnects.

I received the notification there was a new software update available(I assume it is the 4.3 update) so i went ahead with the update. The s3 was on charge so no problems there.
The update started and went to 100% and then the device restarted and now it is frozen on the Samsung start up screen. I have tried a reset (power button and home button) but this did not have any affect the Start up screen remained,i tried to boot the phone is safe mode(power home and vol up buttons) and this did not have any effect either.
I pulled out the battery to restart the phone and it still remains frozen on the samsung start up sceen.
Ci need my phone for business over the weekend and i dont have a backup phone.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 (rooted) running os 4.3
I trying to find a way to disable the lockscreen completly so I can use widget locker instead without having to swipe twice every time.
I have tried setting the standard lock screen to none but it still starts with the standard swipe lockscreen - I have also tried alot of different apps (noLock, no lock screen, etc) but none of them are able to disable the lockscreen.
I have also searched for solutions (here and a lot of other sites) but a lot of people suggest its a bug in os 4.3.
Running os 4.3 have succesfully been able to disable the standard lock screen.

I have an Xperia U and I am facing a weird problem, the touchscreen does not work on JB but works in ICS and GB. I have tried flashing different ftf and also tried playing with hw_config, but still it does not work in jb.

I've had my phone almost two years and have never used tunein radio. Then suddenly yesterday it pops up a notification, and as soon as I touch that, trying to swipe-remove it, a station loads and starts playing. This is disastrous for me because mobile data is ridiculously expensive here and I need all of it for work purposes. So taoday I go to play store and uninstall it. And then get told that it's a system app so all the uninstall has done is remove all updates. Great, now I have a potentially insecure app that I don't want.
How can I remove it, or at the very least block it from using network? (I do have Sophos AV).

How to remove pictures in gallery in jelly 4.1.1 cannot pinch to zoom out to enter "filmstrip mode. Have attempted to remove pics with file manager, no luck. I do have Picasa app in gallery but cannot find out to delete. Cannot transfer pics to pc to remove pics.

I am using our country local brand walton primo gh2 phone. In notification area i see "Downloading English (US) ", under it download paused. First three or four time i tapped and hold and its took me to Language and input option and shows me that update and every time it stacked on 64%. after that when i again i tapped and hold it shows just app info nothing else and i cant remove it from my notification area. Its very annoying to see and some file goes to queue under it too download never start and i have to restart downloads. I am using android 4.2.2.

I want find them and move them to SD card and use them later , if I want reinstall them and do not use more bandwidth of internet . I do not want use application like titanium , I want do this with file manager . Can I do this for more space , for my phone . for example I find them and move them to SD card , for more space

I recently purchased a Galaxy S3, that was completely factory reset with JB 4.1.2.
I downloaded a couple of .jpg files to use as backgrounds, but then decided not to use them - but left them on the device (not in the original download location however)
A couple days ago I received the 4.3 update from AT&T, which seemed to go off without a hitch. But now, the 3 files I downloaded seem to continue to download. - at least I get a notification that the files are downloaded (3 different notifications).
I deleted the files to see if that would stop it - no luck.
I went to Chrome and closed all the tabs (a couple were still open to the location I downloaded them from) - no luck.
When I get the notifications, if I click on it, it says it can't find the file.If I just clear it off, they come back a few hours later.

Google Chrome doesn't trust my university's website where all of my school documents and resources are, and thus won't let me download any files from the site. It's nothing crazy or illegitimate, it's my school's site... it just makes it difficult when I want to download pdf files or word documents to work on the go. Any remedy at all aside from downloading on my computer and saving to Google drive?

I've come to the conclusion, after trying several different file managers, music players and playlist organisers, that it simply isn't possible to choose the order in which music will be played. I have two folders of mp3 files, both of which contain track numbers on every file, but, when I try to create a playlist, it just ignores the track numbers and plays the files in alphabetical order. I have read several files explaining how to edit the order of a playlist all of which refer to options which don't exist on my phone.
It's running android 4.1.1
This seems such a basic requirement for a music player that it seems impossible that it's been overlooked and yet that seems to be the case.

I am using an external sd card on my Samsung GT-P3110 and using Android V 4.1.1. For some reason the various apps no longer see the folders and music files that are on the card.
I can still see the files when I attach the card to my PC using Win7 and I can add or delete without issues. Apps that are no longer seeing the files include n7player and ES File Explorer. This is only a recent development. For the first five months I did not have any problems with this.

Managing Galaxy Note I & IIs running Android 4.1.2 and would like to direct network/browser traffic to a URL filtering service through a proxy server. Can confirm or deny (with supporting reference material) that Jelly Bean (specifically Android v4.1.2) has support for PAC files to configure proxy settings? The browsers I want to redirect to the proxy are Internet V4.1.2 (default with version 4.1.2 Android OS) and Chrome V 25.0.1364.169. Pointers to how to set proxies for those specific browser releases is also welcome.
If PAC file support does exist where does the PAC file need to be installed? How is it typically installed? Any documentation that reviews the PAC file support.

I'm really bugged by the Cherry Mobile Flare logo. It's like this: when our devices (S100, otherwise known as the Karbonn A9+ in India) are still in Android ICS(4.0.4), it's really a breeze to change the boot(splash) logo using the AIO flasher. Anyways, since we updated our devices to JB 4.1.2, I have tried and failed (countless times) in changing the boot logo using AIO (partition table does not exist). The boot logo also appears during off-charging (before the animated battery).So I searched the web and found the link below(which looks promising) and tried but I get the "can't open dev/block/mmcblock0p18" error. It's NOT the boot animation, it's THE boot logo guys.

I have the GS4 android 4.3 and sometimes things lag more often so I hold home and go to the task manager to see that the RAM is almost full. There is the option to clear memory but it sounds risky and I haven't found an answer to my question yet. What exactly happens when I tap clear memory? Will any apps be messed up? I want to know that it's totally find to clear memory before I do it.
