Jelly Bean :: Download Paused Can't Remove From Notification Area And On Tap Shows Nothing

I am using our country local brand walton primo gh2 phone. In notification area i see "Downloading English (US) ", under it download paused. First three or four time i tapped and hold and its took me to Language and input option and shows me that update and every time it stacked on 64%. after that when i again i tapped and hold it shows just app info nothing else and i cant remove it from my notification area. Its very annoying to see and some file goes to queue under it too download never start and i have to restart downloads. I am using android 4.2.2.

I have the date in status bar and work fine (see bellow). Done by edited my systemui.apk by my self (decompile, edited, recompile�). Now, also in modify systemui, I want to remove header in notification area (pink cercle in screenshot bellow). With resize or delete the header. I need to know what values to modify in systemui..

I've had my phone almost two years and have never used tunein radio. Then suddenly yesterday it pops up a notification, and as soon as I touch that, trying to swipe-remove it, a station loads and starts playing. This is disastrous for me because mobile data is ridiculously expensive here and I need all of it for work purposes. So taoday I go to play store and uninstall it. And then get told that it's a system app so all the uninstall has done is remove all updates. Great, now I have a potentially insecure app that I don't want.
How can I remove it, or at the very least block it from using network? (I do have Sophos AV).

How to remove pictures in gallery in jelly 4.1.1 cannot pinch to zoom out to enter "filmstrip mode. Have attempted to remove pics with file manager, no luck. I do have Picasa app in gallery but cannot find out to delete. Cannot transfer pics to pc to remove pics.

I updated my phone (GS3) two days ago and after I did I have 4 "download complete" notifications that won't go away. Even after clearing them they come back. The files cannot even be located on my phone anywhere. I downloaded these ages ago through Chrome.

My galaxy s3 screen has broken. It didn't shatter but it does not light up or respond to touch. I know it is on because the light in the upper corner that blinks for notifications works and the soft keys light up when the power/lock button and volume button are pushed. I can not see or save what I have on my phone through Kies because I cannot unlock it. Is there was any other way to unlock a phone like through a website or program without using the touchscreen?

I just recently got an optimus G e970. I downloaded CM10.2.zip and gapps.zip for the rom.I used "adb push CM10.2.zip /sdcard/" to move the files files to my sdcard and i sucessfully installed cyanagenmod BUT i can't delete the .zip files left behind.
When i go to recovery mode, i see the files in my sdcard but there are not options to remove it. I connected the phone to my PC and i can't see CM10.2.zip and gapps.zip file in my sdcard. I tried installign root explorer and esfile explorer and enabled hidden files but i can't find this file in my sdcard (internal storage) or sdcard1 (physical sdcard). However, i can still see them in recovery mode, BUT again there is not option to remove the .zip files in recovery mode.!

I got my shiny new Nexus 7 three days ago and connected it to my gmail account. Then I tried searching the play store and it doesn't seem to be working properly - apps like iPlayer and Evernote are 'not compatible with my device' and when I search for other apps I don't get the proper, basic ones like camera, only independently made ones that are less popular. When I try to download these I get an error message - Error while retrieving information from server (RPC:S-7 EOS:AEC-O). So I tried looking for solutions on the internet - sync it, remove Google account and put it back on, I've even tried setting up an entirely new email, but nothing has worked. I've noticed my device has a permanent sync error but nothing has remedied that. This is all terribly annoying as a device is pretty useless without apps, although I managed to download Facebook right when I got the tablet. The internet works fine, and my Wi-Fi is strong.

I've got a HTC One S since few weeks ('got a MotoDefy before) and i'm really disappointed about the jellybean lockscreen :-/
It's really annoying to have to slide the notifications , on iPhone you just have to wake the screen to have a look on all your notifications (and i'm not even talking about the fact that the screen didn't switch on when you receive an email or sms on JB)
I'm using for now Widget Locker with Executive Assistant but there is a lot of things that's going wrong....
SO, is there a way to have the notification screen instead of the lockscreen...? I think it would be a great feature for customs roms!

I'm having a problem ever since i updated to 4.3 last week I'm trying to add hebrew to the samsung keyboard and it keeps failing or just not doing anything.
I tried to clear cache for the app and still now go....also tried to download using WiFi and 4G still no go
Another Issue I am having is that the Geo-Tag and the camera used to tagged correctly in hebrew and now all of a sudden it tags in arabic.

BBC iPlayer switches my tablet off if I try to resume playing a downloaded programme after I've switched tablet off. I emailed iplayer support who claimed they had not come across this problem. I think it might have been since 4.4.2 was installed.

Just updated to 4.3. (Galaxy Note 2) All fine. Only one problem:
Lost Swedish as input language. (But English and Chinese still present.)
I choose add input language. It says tap to download (Swedish). The download progress bar appears but never starts to fill. Wait long. Finally it says "download failed".

It's possible to personalize the colour of a notification on status bar? When i get a notification, I see the black and white icon of the app on the status bar. It's possible to have a coloured icon instead of the black and white one? (For example the blu icon for the Facebook app, the green icon for whatsapp...)

I have a Prestigio Multipad 3670B running Jelly Bean. The Facebook app is configured to play notification sound upon receiving message etc., but no sound ever plays. The notification appears in the status bar, though. I have tried to reasearch the problem, but search involving the keyword prestigio doesn't yield much and in the general case, the problem is mostly reverse, i.e. the notifications popping up when they shouldn't.

I recently purchased a Galaxy S3, that was completely factory reset with JB 4.1.2.
I downloaded a couple of .jpg files to use as backgrounds, but then decided not to use them - but left them on the device (not in the original download location however)
A couple days ago I received the 4.3 update from AT&T, which seemed to go off without a hitch. But now, the 3 files I downloaded seem to continue to download. - at least I get a notification that the files are downloaded (3 different notifications).
I deleted the files to see if that would stop it - no luck.
I went to Chrome and closed all the tabs (a couple were still open to the location I downloaded them from) - no luck.
When I get the notifications, if I click on it, it says it can't find the file.If I just clear it off, they come back a few hours later.

Google Chrome doesn't trust my university's website where all of my school documents and resources are, and thus won't let me download any files from the site. It's nothing crazy or illegitimate, it's my school's site... it just makes it difficult when I want to download pdf files or word documents to work on the go. Any remedy at all aside from downloading on my computer and saving to Google drive?

I installed cyanogenmod 10.1, but my battery is dying faster and my operators mobile internet data can't work either, so I want to go back to my stock android version. I found out that I need to go to download mode so I did, but the problem is: after i hold home+power+vol. down, green android guy appears and below it said 'download do not turn off the target!', it's all that is on the screen and it just stays like that forever..

Second, I'm a bit confused about two sd cards shown in my "es datei explorer". There is a "sd card" and a "extsd card" which I suppose to be the real card. What's the first one?

I have galaxy s4 mini (GT19195 , 4.2.2).
the problem is that i can't upload/download anything through all the applications that i install (WhatsApp,Facebook,foursquare...). Everytime that i try to upolad or download an item it always fail.
i noticed that the folders by Default created with those applications are not there from the beginning so i tried to create them manually but it didn't work.
i removed the external sd card so that i can install the applications directly in the internal sd card but no thing changed.
Maybe if i root my phone it will work but it doesn't resolve the situation.
one important thing that i notice is that the application installed with the system (not the new ones) like gmail give me the possibility to upload/download without a problem.
i tried to move the new applications to the folder /system/app in order to be executed the same way as the system applications but no change.
