Dl the apk for high res HTC IMEkeyboard, find using androzip or astro. Install after checking allow unknown apps in the settings. Seems to be the same keyboard as stock with the auto space inserted. Only issue that it seems to be a tad slower than stock

View 9 Replies View RelatedI keep going back and forth to swype/stock (can type so easily and fast on swype but just HATE tap typing names into it, and hate when the "new world reminder pops up".so for now back to stock for you guys who can touch type FAST...what settings do u use
1) vibration on/off (i think i like it on...but when i type faster than it pulses it gets distracting
2) what is UP with the "check spelling before prediction"...what in heck does this do and is it good on or off

View 11 Replies View RelatedI think I tried to longpress in the text entry field and find another option but two things about the keyboard really irk me.
1. You cannot enable an autospace to be inserted after you choose an autocorrect word option.
2. I'm just not a fan of the long press on letters to access symbols/numbers.
Maybe I'm spoiled by the Droid but can you swap the text input to the standard keyboard?
I was curious, does anyone know if it is possible to change the colors of the stock keyboard that comes with the phone?

Is there anyway to change the keyboard to where the space bar is bigger? I don't care about voice search so if I could get rid of that and make the space bar icon bigger that would be great.. is it possible?
I am coming from an iPhone where I could type like crazy quick on there. I can do the same on the Evo and love the bigger keys but for some reason the poisitioning of the space bar is killing me.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIf people who have naked droids could just humor me for a second...when holding your droid sideways (keyboard side facing down), is there a minuscule gap between the two parts in that when you push down on the top part, it hits the bottom or is yours flush? I ask because after trying a myriad of clip on cases, I think i may have /stretched, widened the gap.

I like the keyboard in general, but the space is really annoying. The other keys are all essentially flat, or very slightly curved upwards. The space though is really pretty depressed inwards. View 3 Replies View RelatedOn Sunday I started getting the message "Low on space Phone Storage space is getting low." on the status bar. When I tap it, I'm taken to the "Manage Applications" screen, so it's clear that the message refers to the "Phone Memory," where apps are stored But when I go to Settings > SD card & phone storage here's what I see:
SD Card Total Space: 14.83GB
SD Card Available Space: 6.15GB
Internal Phone Storage Total Space: 6.60GB
Internal Phone Storage Available Space: 6.51GB
Phone Memory Total Space: 748MB
Phone Memory Available Space: 332MB
I've googled looking for solutions and it's obvious that this is a fairly common problem - especially on HTC phones. But the only possible solutions I've found are:
Too many apps are installed & space really is running low
A "bad" app was recently installed causing this error
Clear the cache for HTC Mail and HTC Message apps
Perform a Factory Reset We can rule this out since there is more than 44% of the Phone Memory available.
I didn't install any apps immediately before getting the message, but to be sure I uninstalled the 10 most recently added apps. No luck.
I've gone to Settings > Applications > Manage Applications, but the cache for these apps is already zero. The "Data" for Mail is 2.22MB and for Messages is 812KB.
This isn't fixing the problem, it's just a way to eliminate whatever condition has caused the symptom. But without an explanation of the actual problem I see no reason to think the problem won't come back in another two months.
My phone keeps telling me this in my notification bar and its bugging the crap out of me. My intenal phone storage has over 6gb free and my SD card has 1.3 gb free. The notification will not go away, I have tried rebooting my phone. I can't not stand it, its just one of my things, but it makes me want to not use my phone. OCD i guess.Anyway, PLEASE tell me why it is doing this

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince rooting & installing Bugless Beast, my on screen keyboard no longer defaults to upper case when I select a text field. It used to automatically show the upper case layout when I'd select say, the text message compose field, and then drop to lower case after the first letter. Now I have to manually capitalize the first letter. I've checked to make sure that auto capitalize is enabled in system settings. Anybody else have this problem and find a way to fix it?
