i need a keyboard replacement app because i keep pressing the period button instead of the space bar. my thumb is too big, it keeps pressing the wrong letters.

Guys I find my self constantly hitting the period instead of the space bar and half of my texts/emails all have . laced all throughout them. Is there anyway to change the keyboard to where the space bar is bigger? I don't care about voice search so if I could get rid of that and make the space bar icon bigger that would be great.. is it possible?
I am coming from an iPhone where I could type like crazy quick on there. I can do the same on the Evo and love the bigger keys but for some reason the poisitioning of the space bar is killing me.
I love the Hero, but would really like to be able to change icons, text, themes, ect.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I rooted my phone, did a nanodroid back-up, and added a custom Rom. At first I flashed MoCaDo onto the phone but I had a lot of force closes. So I flashed Fresh .5 over MocaDo 1.1 and the force closes stop. The phone feels a lot zipper. I have WiFi tether. Spare parts is great. Now how do I move apps to the sd card to free up more space?

I like the keyboard in general, but the space is really annoying. The other keys are all essentially flat, or very slightly curved upwards. The space though is really pretty depressed inwards. I don't think it's worn out, as I really haven't used it much yet.

This the only problem I'm having with this Rom now.
Installed the XDA keyboard so I could access Speech-to-text input. Works great except that the "Hide Keyboard" button doesn't appear after I disabled the "Smiley Hack" per instructions I'd read. I never use smileys but often use the hide keyboard function.

View 7 Replies View RelatedAt complete fault of my own in a move I should have known better than to do, my phone decided to hang out for a few minutes on the bottom of my oven, face up, while it was on at 375F. The phone is actually surprisingly great - everything still works, makes calls, cam and rear speaker seem unaffected - but the back battery cover is messed up now. Because I'm optimistic and dumb, I went to Sprint to see if I could get a replacement door from them. No go. Then I checked HTC's website, and they don't seem to sell anything for this phone at all (exaggeration). Ultimately I plan to wrap my Hero in one of those jelly cases, but I already own one and I'm away on vacation and refuse to by another. Still, despite being wrapped up incognito, I'll be secretly bothered by my less-than-perfect phone, so I really want to order another one.

I currently have this set as my default home, so I just pull up taskiller to kill off sense and free up some memory. Even though I kill sense off with taskiller I see that sense has started back up every once and awhile and was wondering both why it starts back up and whether there is a way to stop it from doing so? Also, will killing sense like this lead to any problems down the road?

I barely have any apps on my phone, just dolphin HD, Sirius/Xm, Facebook, Mixzing. What is a solid 2.x Rom with little bugs and the most space. I thought I read somewhere that you should keep over 60mb free.

I checked my phone this morning, I had 120 mb internal memory, and now im down to 2.26mb of memory. My phone gets warm, battery drains. Nothing is running! Has anybody seen or heard of this issue?
View 4 Replies View RelatedAfter fighting the silent bug for a while - I asked for a replacement that I received today. (The box said "Like-new Certified".) It came with 2.1, PCD: 06/28/2010, So I did not do Factory reset. I synced with google, I got all my contacts, with icons, e-mails and calendar back.
I reinstalled googe voice, AK notepad and swype beta.
Most important difference: The Available space (memory) is 131Mb now, whereas on the old phone it was 91 Mb. It seems I have one more bars, but I could be mistaken. (I wish I wrote down what I had before...) How do I check for the 50% bug? I will keep an eye of the silent bug shows up.
I recieved an error two days ago saying "out of disk space". After restoring my phone to factory the ability to receive MMS/SMS went kaput! Surprisingly I can send but not receive messages. I was on the phone with Sprint for hours with to technicians. One of the techs implied that some of the early batch of phones from Best Buy have this issue. This is just one of the techs viewpoint. I am going to swap the phone today and see if it resolves the issue. I switched to Sprint specifically for TEXT so this could be a deal breaker. More to follow.

Very confused as I only have 15ish~ Apps from the market installed, auto task killer is killing almost everything to up my battery life, I delete most of my emails..
Im also now experiencing a ton of lock-ups when trying to scroll through things like my application list, sometimes screens, loading the mail app etc..
This just started happening yesterday/today and before that it was running flawlessly.
