View 5 Replies View RelatedAnybody know how? Got way too many of my kid and don't want to dump them or move to a PC yet.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to save photos i take to my phone instead of SD CARD when my sd card is mounted. because i want to take some pictures for my contacts but i plan to switch sd cards in the future so i dont want to retake photos for my contacts.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a bunch of photos that I took with the phone. I stored them on the phone until I discovered they were not going to my SD card. Is there any way to move those photos from phone storage to the sd card ?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently changed the storage location on my Incredible's camera from Phone Storage to Storage Card (i.e., my SD card). Yesterday I decided to move the previsouly taken photos "IMAG*.jpg" from the phone storage to the SD card and used the Astro app to perform this move. I made the mistake of using "move" rather than "copy-paste". Something went wrong and somehow none of the "imag*.jpg" that were previously on my phone's internal storage are neither there nor on the SD card.
Where could these files have disappeared to? Is there a "Trash" folder in Android like in Windows where these jpg files could be still hidden? Anyway to recover them? Using the search feature on Astro didn't reveal any of the newly disappeared jpg files.
Here's what I did using the Astro app:
step 1: navigated to /emmc/DCIM/100MEDIA
step 2: clicked on multi and selected all the jpg files there (about 15 or so), i.e., all file names turned orange.
step 3: clicked on Edit, selected Move.
step 4: navigated to /sdcard/DCIM/100MEDIA which already had a few images that I had taken since changing the default storage location in my camera.
step 5: clicked on EDIT, selected Paste.
That's when I got a message saying "unable to move" or some such error - I don't recall the exact words and I had to click ok only for the same error to appear again some 15 more times. I guess it appeared once per image.
I went back to /emmc/DCIM/100MEDIA (the phone storage location) and to /sdcard/DCIM/100MEDIA (SD card location) but the files aren't there in either location. Please note that I'm a noob to Android having only used Windows Mobile OS phones in the past. I appreciate any help and insight in this matter so that I don't loose files more important than some randomly taken pics.
I may opt to buy a larger 16GB card for my Dinc to replace the 2GB card that came with it that I've been using for weeks. Will it just be a matter of copying all the files and directories from the old card to a temp folder on my PC and then copying them back to the new card once installed in the phone? Don't want to lose what I already have on my 2GB card.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have the camera set to save on the SD Card. However, when I take pictures it still stores it on the device memory. Why is that? Is this a known error?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a lucid Droid phone from Verizon. And it didn't come with an SD Card. So I bought 1 at Walmart. And I'm wondering how to move my music from my internal memory of my phone to my SD card.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI just loaded a bunch of my personal photos onto my Incredible's SD card from my Nikon D300 but all the photos are fuzzy, what am I doing wrong? Could the photos be too large since the Nikon is 12mp camera? I wanted to load one as my wallpaper but it never loaded so I'm thinking perhaps I need to crop all these photos in Photoshop before loading it.I want to use the SD card to show family photos (in a slideshow mode) to friends, and studio photography work to potential clients. Also, I was using the standard photo icon to view the photos, is there something that works better?

View 1 Replies View RelatedHow do i take photos off of the microSD card from my old phone and put them onto my new one?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have done some searches and cannot come with the answer I need. All the photos I take are moved to the SD card and not available to the gallery. It seem they stay in the gallery for about a day and then they are moved. I cannot figure out how to bring them back to the gallery or to so that I can send them out or edit them with the phones photoshop. The photos taken with the camera are on the SD card in the DCIM file while the downloaded photos are in the download file but I am not finding any menue that allows me to retrieve them back to the gallery.

View 5 Replies View Relatedmove photos/videos to a pc from a connected android device (phone). The device does not present itself as an external drive, but rather as a connected device. Both types of files are located in the DCIM folder. If it was an external drive, I could create a batch file to do it, but this way i'm not able to.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm new to the droid forums. coming over from bbforums. Can someone tell me how do I insure that photos and music go to the sd card and not the phone memory. I cant seem to find the route to get it done.
View 2 Replies View Related.Unfortunatley my old LG 8300 phone was damaged..Lady said the transfer cable couldn't read data from the phone..It will charge using the port but won't transfer the data..So I had to type all my contacts in the new Incredible over again..She said I could move the pics using a Micro sd car..So I bought a 4gb at Wal Mart and can't figure out how to get the old pics off the internal memory of the LG and onto the Micro sd card? I don't think there is a way of doing it..Maybe I could still pic message them off to my PC and then put them on the Droid?
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there an application that will allow you to browse to a folder on your phone/SD care and view the photos inside? If it were on a linux PC I would be installing GThumb, on windows ACDSEE. I have tried Photo Burst. It crashes and I had to reset the phone. I have tried Picture Viewer but the latest version does not pan at all. The only way to do something like this with the stock viewer is to have all your photos in the root of the sdcard in folders or within download. Not really the neatest way of doing this.
View 2 Replies View Relatedi flash this vanilla 2.2 rom to my incredible since this is my first time.. I did a full Titanium backup and am getting ready to do a nandroid backup. Do those files need to be moved off the phone prior to wiping? I would assume so but I fail to see anything mentioning to do that.
