Unfortunately my storms usb cable never worked with my laptop, so i can't do usb, but is there anyway i can sync with some program with bluetooth with some program to put these on my incredible when I get one?
View 19 Replies View RelatedIt says it all in the title really. I'm just curious coming from my old Blackberry Storm if there is a similar full screen clock I can use for a bedside alarm clock?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI just thought about the fact that I have the 8gb card that came in my storm. Verizon is sending a 2gb card but that is useless in my eyes and would rather use the 8gb card unless it will be too slow.
View 7 Replies View RelatedBasically topic. I know the simplest way to do it would have been to Google Sync my contacts into my Gmail from my BB then sync them to the EVO, but unfortunately, I can't do that now. The SIM in my BB is out thanks to my number transfer so no data, and I didn't have Google Sync installed.
I have a little over 200 contacts in my BB, and as I'm sure you understand putting all of them in manually is near insanity. Anyone in the same boat as me? Any solutions to this or is a long night of manual contact switching in my future?
I have a blackberry and I've recently bought an x10 Xperia for myself. I wanted to transfer my contacts and calendar from my blackberry to my x10 but for some reason, it does not work.
View 2 Replies View RelatedApologies if this has been asked and answered, i didn't see anything that looked relevant when i searched. And yes, I am an android n00b.First of all i LOVE this freaking phone. Yesterday (the day I got it) was perhaps the single worst performance I've ever had at work for a single day.I am in THAT much in love. But there's one persistent problem. When I bought the phone at a corporate store, the CSR tried 5 times to sync my contacts from my old samsung omnia.Every time, the incredible said that the sync was successful but the contacts never showed up.My only recourse is to manually reprogram all my contacts.I'm in the "b"s now and I have work at 6 AM.I know I can sync my winmo contacts to gmail, but I don't use gmail primarily and would like my phone contacts to stay phone contacts.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have not seen this question asked yet. I would like to move my Gmail contacts to my phone, i.e. to the smartcard, so that if I delete the contacts from Gmail, they are not automatically deleted from the phone (I don't trust my personal info on a public server). Is there any way to do this with retyping?

View 49 Replies View RelatedSo my dad is looking to get the incredible, because he loves mine so much, but he is coming from a blackberry storm, and still wants his emails. Is there a way to get blackberry emails on the incredible, or even on a pc so he can check it on a computer?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am starting to run out of space on my HTC desire. Haven't even got many apps and widgets, but I'm having to install stuff. Anyway I've got 10mb of contacts and is there any way to move them to the memory card?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have read some about how to move "Phone" stored contacts to Google. They all seem to revolve around exporting all the contacts to the SD card and then importing them again into Google.
The question I have is, what about all the extraneous contacts, say from facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, etc? Do those also get exported and then imported into Google essentially creating a duplicate contact for each contact that is sync'ed from those other services?
What I want to do is just take the few contacts I have run across that are "Phone" contacts and move them to Google. Basically, I don't want ANY phone contacts. Only Google contacts which I can then join to LinkedIn and facebook contacts.
Does that make sense? I just don't want to try this export/import and end up with a ton of duplicate contacts and be in a worse mess than I have now!
By the way, I am on a Galaxy S3 under Verizon.
Have they come up with a way to transfer texts from a Blackberry to HTC Incredible yet? I heard sprite mobile had a solution. I am coming from a BB Storm 2 and I am feeling kind of sad leaving my Blackberry mostly because of Blackberry Messenger!
View 5 Replies View RelatedWhat is the easiest way to transfer contacts from an older blackberry to the incredible? I tried to get the back up assistance ap from verizon, but I guess it doesn't work for BB?
View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is confirmed by Verizon, so take warning.I got my Incredible on Tues, used my BB charger on my phone because the Verizon store said it was ok since it was still a micro usb. My battery started dying after about a few hours. Tried every trick in the book and still died afte about 3 hrs.Went to the Verizon store and got it replace. They once again said it was ok to use the blackberry charger. So i let the new battery run down as the guy said and began to charge w/ my blackberry car charger for about 30 min. I noticed the orange charger light was not on. I unplugged the charger and the phone will not even turn on now. Verizon is overnighting me another Incredible.Listen to others if you want or take your chances, but the tech guy at Verizons main tech support center said to use only Htc chargers. **SO USE YOUR BB CHARGERS ON YOUR INCREDIBLE AT YOUR OWN RISK**
View 49 Replies View RelatedI know many of you are getting ready to make the jump from BB to the Incredible. I just had to have a way to back up my contacts.
TO ALL Storm users (and other users with 5.0, not sure if it works with 4.7.. should be able, havent tested it) you CAN backup your phone via backup assistant from Verizon. I did this yesterday and now have all of my contacts backed up on my account.
While the Tour and Storm 2 had the program pushed to their devices, I (and others) were still able to grab the link!
Simply download and install the backup assistant from the tour link.
http://mobile.vzw.com/download/BUA/BB9630/syncclient_ba_bb9000.jad
or try the Storm2 link if that one doesn't work (it should)

BOTH worked for me on my storm. they should work for you too.
** TO RESTORE on your new Droid Incredible**
When logged in to verizonwireless.com, you can simply select all contacts then export them as a .csv file.
After you do that, login to your gmail account (you have to have one to use an android device anyway) and you can import your contacts.
A more detailed rundown is here

This is for the original droid, but will work fine! Just skip the top part about backup assistant
OR USE GOOGLE SYNC

.Unfortunatley my old LG 8300 phone was damaged..Lady said the transfer cable couldn't read data from the phone..It will charge using the port but won't transfer the data..So I had to type all my contacts in the new Incredible over again..She said I could move the pics using a Micro sd car..So I bought a 4gb at Wal Mart and can't figure out how to get the old pics off the internal memory of the LG and onto the Micro sd card? I don't think there is a way of doing it..Maybe I could still pic message them off to my PC and then put them on the Droid?

View 4 Replies View RelatedFor those of you leaving Blackberry for Android or want to use the two devices together, there is now an easy solution to transfer / sync contacts between the two devices:
Step 1: Install inTouchApp on your Blackberry from App World & create an account IntouchApp Contacts - Backup + Sync + Auto-update - BlackBerry World

View 2 Replies View Related1. Make sure all of your contacts from your current phone are synced up with Outlook.
2. Goto File
3. Import and Export
4. Select "Export to a file" and Click Next
5. Select "Comma Seperated Values (Windows)" and click Next
6. Select Contacts and click Next
7. Choose a destination for the file to be saved and click next
8. Click Finished
If you have excel or a spreadsheet program, go ahead and open the file. In the last name field make sure that each person either has a last name or has some letter in the field or they will not import correctly. They will just end up showing up with a phone number w/o a name. After doing this, resave the file........
I recently came over from using a Blackberry (and using the Blackberry Messenger app), and I am wondering what you all might suggest as an easy way to briefly send quick messages (not using SMS or email) that would be easy to set up on my end and for my Blackberry friends.Currently I do not have any chat systems or instant messaging systems set up (as never used any of that before), so I am hoping you can make your suggestions very simple to understand and set up. I'm somewhat new to all this technology, but I am anxious to learn.
