When I click a picture and use the send option to send it to someone via email, it doesn't work. The other side does not receive the email. My husband has HTC Evo and it works fine for him. Is there any setting that I need to change?

does anyone know why I not able to upload my pics to facebook. I have done them before and in my notification it's downloading but for days. I also tried emailing them to me and I don't receive those. Any suggestions?

Been sending emails from my Tiscali account via smtp.orange.net for months now, but suddenly it stopped working the other day. Now just says 'Unable to send mail' whenever I try.
I didn't touch the phone settings in between the last successful send and the first failed attempt, anyone got any ideas? Have tried the usual, like deleting/recreating the account, plus using different SMTP servers (orangehome.co.uk, 192. etc.) but all to no avail.
just noticed that when i read my gmail from the phone, it doesn't mark it off as read when i check on the computer. also when i try to reply or send an email, it is just stuck there with a red "sending". anyone have any idea what is going on?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to send a picture from my Gallery, via Gmail. I just click on the "share" button, then select Gmail.
However, I've sent it over 10 times for the past two days, to two of my email accounts. I've also tried sending another pic.but nothing. When the Gmail app thing opens, everything seems ok, and I fill in all the info and hit send. But nothing is being sent.
I tried to send 15 pictures I sent through gmail. They never went through. It seems it's too large to send. I then just sent 1 picture through gmail. It still said it was trying to send it over 30 minutes after I sent it so I discarded it. Now I sent the same pics through text and they went through just fine. But how can you send pics through gmail? I tried to send it directly from my phone and it didn't work? I saved them to my computer and sent them that way and it finally did work but it took forever to add them to my email because the pics are so large? I don't want to keep trying to send them by downloading them to my computer to send through gmail. How can I send them through my phone? Are the pics just too large to send?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently received my new HTC Incredible and connected to my exchange account. Everything thing seemed fine until people told me they had not received my emails. I checked and the emails were in my sent folder and appeared to have been sent. Looking into this further I was able to narrow the problem down to only NEW emails to an outside email address are not received. Any email that I reply to and any new email to someone on the same exchange server are received fine. Just new emails to an out side address are never received but are happily sitting in the sent folder.I deleted the exchange account from the phone and set it up again and had the same results. Pulled the battery, etc. I then setup my account on an HTC Hero and got the exact same results. As a side note the same setup on an iphone works fine.Searching around I think I may have narrowed the problem down to a pin issue between the HTC mail client and the Exchange Server but am not sure. Has anyone else had this issue?

I have 1.5 on my phone on 2.1 is this issue fixed I will risk the trouble just to send pics. I can't find a solution other then going on sprint.com/picturemail and I'm tired of doing that now.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy issue is that I am unable to send mail using an email account on my web domain - I get a generic message that states something similar to the email is unable to be sent. I was previously able to email on my old Blackberry using the same account, so I would think it'd be possible on the Droid X. I have tried all ports I saw suggested in the forums on my web host's site but none of the three I tried work for me. I am able to receive mail without any problems and my web host confirmed the below settings should be correct. I know for certain that the user name requires the full email address, rather than just the user name portion. Please see below and let me know what I need to change to get this working. Thanks in advance for your help.

The first time it happened I cleared the cache on HTC mail program and everything worked again, however that didn't work this time. I have no problem sending email through an active sync account.

Now it doesn't update once I receive the emails or make a sound.. I have it so it supposed to but still does not. If I click on it, it takes me to the edit email account screen. When I go through the steps it says authentication failed even though my gmail account is fine. I don't know how to fix this. Also when I go to all programs I have 2 internet, 2 maps, and 2 navigator icons that weren't there before and won't delete.

I downloaded Handcent App and I would love to use it, but When I do use it, I get text messages sent to the App I downloaded, and to the default text messaging that came with the hero. How can I make my text messages only send to Handcent SMS instead of Both? View 7 Replies View RelatedI tried searching for an answer to this, but had no luck. I've just ditched the stock Messaging App for Handcent and am really liking it (as many have here have said). BUT, when I send an MMS or even a simple text, I can't seem to send to email addresses that I had saved (I typically send to some phones and emails at the same time). I could do this with the stock app. Any ideas for me...I feel dizzy from looking through all the Handcent options and can't find anything.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I send camera shots via email using HTC's Mail application, the photos are not readable by most recipients (except, interestingly enough, by my wife on her blackberry). Same photos sent by the gmail app are fine. The photos appear as attachments, but they cannot be viewed and when the recipient tries to download, a jpg that is only a fraction of the total size is saved and that file is not viewable either.

I can't send any emails at all, they just sit in the outbox saying "sending". If I long press on any of them, I get an error:

I can recieve emails with no problems. I've cleared the cache and data for Gmail, I've rebooted the phone countless times, restarted the gmail process etc etc
I have been trying to send a text message to an email adress using handcent but haven't been able to? Is it possible to do this? I also thought that I read that you could do this using the stock messaging app, but haven't been able to figure out how to do it there either. Does anyone know how to do this, or have any suggestions on other apps that can.

We are both unable to see pictures sent to us as part of an email (like pictures in a joke). And she is unable to open pictures as email attachments in her Yahoo acct.
