HTC Droid Eris :: Need Stock Htc Calendar?
May 18, 2010The 1 by 4 HTC calendar widget has my dates one day behind. Had it on 1.5 thru all leaks. Is there any fix, does the ota fix this. Don't really want ant other widgets.

HTC Droid Eris :: Stock Calendar Deletes Previous Events
May 3, 2010I just noticed that events from March are no longer in my calendar. They are still there if I check my Google calendar online, but not on the phone. Is there a way to keep them on the phone forever. I know BB gave that option.

Jan 10, 2010So the large calendar widget that I placed on my home screen used to show dark little tabs in the corner of everyday that I had an event. While I was looking through it, all of the little tabs disappeared and I have no idea what days I have events unless I go into the actual calendar app. Is there any way to keep them there permanently?

HTC Droid Eris :: No Calendar In Status Bar
Jul 21, 2010I just got the eris for fathers day. I have been trying to use the calendar. When I set up an event for the same day the eris will alert me and put a calendar in my status bar. But if I set up an event for the next day it will alert me but no calendar in the status bar. Why is this? What am I doing wrong?

Dec 7, 2009has anyone found that their Eris calendar has some apponitments off by one hour from their corporate exchange/outlook calendars? I have the correct timezone on the phone. Many appointments are accurate but some are off by an hour on the same day that many are correct.

Jan 27, 2010I deleted my gmail calendar as I was trying to use outlookt sync. Initially this worked fine, but after a few weeks I can no longer sync my calndar - I've tried everything and I"m done. It seems using my google account is easier. So, having said that, since I deleted the gmail calendar, I went into "manage apps" and cleared everything associated with gmail, including my calendar. I then asked me to set up gmail again, and I did. I hoped this would bring the calndar back, but it didn't. So now I'm left without a gmail calendar to sync with.

Mar 25, 2010So I've been counting on the alerts from the calendar to warn me prior to meetings (not synced to Outlook- system won't allow). I haven't changed anything on the phone and today it didn't alert me for two different appointments? Has this happened to you? Mar 14, 2010My only problems with this phone so far has been the alarm not going off and htc widget not showing my events on option 1. I've figured out the issue in regarding the alarm. My alarm only works if I have one alarm set, if there are more than 1 then that is when it will not sound the alarm.I just wanted to put that out there because I have seen people in need of the same help. Hope that helps. Second, I can not figure out why the HTC calendar widget will not show my events. I can get it to show my events by deleting the widget and re-adding it, that is just stupid.I am using the smooth calendar widget right now, I like it but I would like to use the HTC widget calendar.

Mar 19, 2010I'm using the stock HTC calendar application that comes on the Eris to sync with both my personal Google calendar and my Exchange calendar at work. I'm generally happy with the result except it only syncs about 2 weeks worth of events into the future. I would like to be able to see maybe 3 or so months worth of events on the Eris. I have plowed around in the settings and cannot locate anything that lets me choose how much of my Google & Exchange calendars to sync.

This works flawlessly for email and contacts but recently stopped working for calendar. My phone returns the message "The Exchange Server returned some status errors." May 17, 2010I keep a shortcut to the Calendar on my home screen. With 1.5 I was always annoyed that the shortcut had a 28 (or somesuch) date on it. I really wanted it to be dynamic so the shortcut always had the correct date. On Sunday when I got my 2.1 upgrade, I was so happy to see that the calendar shortcut had the correct date, the 15th. I was bummed to find out that it was a concidence. The correct date was only displayed because it happend to be be the 15th. Today, on the 17th, it still says 15 on my shortcut.

Feb 1, 2010I recently did a hard reset of my phone and it really cleaned things up and made things run faster (and I got rid of a bunch of apps I never really used.) I did notice that the calendar functions differently now. I used to be able to call up an individual day and see scheduled appointments, then I could swipe left or right on that day to go to the next day or previous day. You still can scroll through time that way in the full month display by swiping up and down but that functionality seems to be gone now for day views. Anyone else notice that change?
