Can i sync my calendar on my Eris to the calender I use with my gmail account online? I went into settings<accounts and sync< from here there is not an opyion for my calendar. only gmail facebook twitter and weather?

I made all the appointments in my Calendar for MY CALENDAR but now on my GMAIL CALENDAR nothing is there, but they are both color coded blue so why don't they sync together?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using the stock HTC calendar application that comes on the Eris to sync with both my personal Google calendar and my Exchange calendar at work. I'm generally happy with the result except it only syncs about 2 weeks worth of events into the future. I would like to be able to see maybe 3 or so months worth of events on the Eris. I have plowed around in the settings and cannot locate anything that lets me choose how much of my Google & Exchange calendars to sync.

This works flawlessly for email and contacts but recently stopped working for calendar. My phone returns the message "The Exchange Server returned some status errors." Cannot find any status errors with the Exchange server....
View 24 Replies View RelatedSince the firmware update, my calendar won't successfully sync. In "settings>accounts and sync>google" the calendar line shows a constantly spinning sync icon. Contacts and gmail sync to the same account just fine.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried a search but came up empty on this one. Right now I have 2 Google accounts, the first one will sync contacts, mail and calendar no problem. However I added my second Google account and there are only options for syncing mail and contacts, there is no checkbox to sync the calendar like my other account. Do I need to delete the first account? I'd prefer to have everything sync from account #2 if that is my only choice. Also, if I do delete the first account my phone says I need to reset the OS to factory standards because the calendar is linked to some of my apps, any way around that? Running 2.1 OTA if that matters.
View 2 Replies View Relatedmy phone is syncing to google calendar just fine. Im having sync issues between my outlook on my PC and the google calendar. I'm using goog calendar sync and it doesnt seem to wan to sync ALL apts. It seemed to work fine at first but now I can try to force a sync and there are a few entries on my outlook for next week that it just wont sync. But if I put a new dummy entry in to test it seems to sync.It's sporadic.Any suggestions? This is the only solution I can use as HTC sync does not work for me.Plus I like the fact that it's 2 way and it happens automatically..no direct connection required.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWe just upgraded to Exchange 2010 at work, and all our other phones work just fine. Evo, iphones, other Droid models, so it's not the server. This one phone is the only one we have that is a Eris and we can't get it to sync contacts. I have tried to clear the calendar storage, nothing, redid the account, nothing. It gets email and contacts just not the calendar and has the ! next to the sync circle. If anyone can please tell me how to resolve this it would be great. Been searching for 2 days trying to figure it out.
View 3 Replies View Relatedwhen I have a new event come up I add it to my phone so I dont forget it, with my Blackberry when I was at an appointment I would add notes and sync it, my office could see my notes in my Google calender and act accordingly. I noticed yesterday the 2 appointments I have this week are NOT showing up in my Google calender on the web. I have the sync set up auto, calender and gmail boxes checked in settings, what am I missing. This is causing me scheduling conflicts and I cant leave it like this.
View 11 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else noticed that an Outlook contact that has a birthday or anniversary date stored within the details, when sync'd to the phone is imported with 1 or 2 days earlier? For example my parents anniversary is stored in Outlook as June 4, 19xx and Outlook adds this to my calendar automatically. After syncing with my Droid Eris the Eris calendar item shows June 3rd. Then when I sync again it shows up in the Outlook calendar on the 3rd and the 4th. This has been going on for quite a while maybe since my 1st sync.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy issue is with Google Sync and Office 2003. It works perfectly for 99.9% of what I expect it to do. I add an event on my work PC and -WHAMMO- it appears on my gCal and on my Eris in moments (If I do a force sync, otherwise it takes 1hr). The issue is, when I receive an invite to a meeting. Such that there is an "Accept / Decline / Tentative" option that we who use MS Office are probably familiar with. If I accept that meeting it will appear on my work computer, but will not sync in any way, shape or form w/ gCal, or my phone. I have to enter all these by hand on my work computer and THEN then they will show up. The reason I ask is: a) I'd like to not have to enter the meetings I'm INVITED to manually.....
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm using Google Calendar and syncing it to my Eris, and for some reason it's damn flaky. Half the time it works, but then if, say, I delete one event out of a recurring pattern from the phone,com.htc. provider. calendar crashes every time the phone tries to update its calendar! It will continually do this until I force stop it, reset the calendar storage and re-sync manually from Google's servers. That, and I've deleted a few events on calendar.google.com and have re-sync'd the phone manually a bunch of times and it won't seem to affect the data on the phone. I mean, it's nice to not have to pay for push calendar sync (like Apple asks you to with MobileMe), but c'mon Google & HTC. First the YouTube app never works on mobile network, Google Maps won't let you arbitrarily pick a location to map to, and this calendar syncing bs? These are things that should just work on a phone with the Google logo on the back.

I went ahead and downloaded the Calendar Pad for Android and it is really great. It went and synched with the Calendar app native to the device, which is find because i really like the UI.
But I need a separate calendar app for my work stuff. I don't want them on the same calendar (way too crowded).
Anyone know of an app that just "keeps to itself"? I searched and I couldn't find one.
When I add events on the phone through the native app it syncs as an invitation in the desktop version. Is it possible to get it to create actual events instead of inviting myself to my homework or doctor's appointment?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI have flashed to KaosFroyo 2.2 v35.1. Everything is fine and the best thing of all is the amazing Power Control widget with all the customization of the widget. But!: I have Exchange 2003 Outlook recurring events created in Outlook. If I use the phone's calendar to delete today's event only from a weekly-recurring event ("Delete this event only"), it doesn't sync with Outlook. In other words, after a sync and check Outlook, I still see the event I deleted using the phone calendar. The other way around, it works fine (if I delete an event in Outlook, it updates on my phone to where I don't see it). Any tips/ideas?

While I was looking through it, all of the little tabs disappeared and I have no idea what days I have events unless I go into the actual calendar app. Is there any way to keep them there permanently?

Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

Have successfully imported my old calendar to Google Calendar which initially synced with the calendar on my captivate. However, when I add a new event to my phone calendar, it does not automatically show up on the Google calendar. the Samsung rep told me I have to edit each new even to mark it as a "Google Calendar". Is there any way to make this the default option on the Captivate phone? I am hoping to have automatic syncronization b/t the phone and the Google calendar without having to force it to do so each time.

I have shared my second calendar with my primary and my appointments for both show up fine online, and in my DX calendar list, it says my second calendar is on there, but nothing is showing up. I've tried adding new appointments both on device and computer, but they don't sync for that calendar.
Am I missing something? Or does anyone know of a calendar app that will sync with a second gmail calendar?
Problem: Appointments / events created on my LG Optimus G were not syncing to desktop Google Calendar. No problem with appointments / events created on desktop syncing down to phone. Problem Identification: Default calendar when creating appointment / event on phone was calendar called "Phone". There is no calendar on desktop called "Phone". Solution: Pick different calendar when creating an appointment / event on your phone.

I would REALLY like to have my Outlook calendar (at minimum) pushed/synchronized to my phone. Is there an app or a way to configure this to work? Right now I am using the Outlook Web Mobile app for my email and I can view my calendar there but I would like schedule/calendar all in one place.

And I configure the username and pwd from DevTools->Google Service Login successfully. Now I can start the Calendar app successfully, with the month view/week view/etc. But I don't know how to sync the calendars or events with Google Calendar service. From the source code, I assume there should happen sync operation. But it didn't happened. And I know another trigger to sync is Menu->More->My Calendars, but after selected, the activity will crash. A previous thread states you have to choose "google calendar" when generating an event on the calendar on the phone, however, when I try to edit the event, under "Calendar" the setting is "My calendar" but I can't change the setting (tapping on it does nothing)
