So the large calendar widget that I placed on my home screen used to show dark little tabs in the corner of everyday that I had an event. While I was looking through it, all of the little tabs disappeared and I have no idea what days I have events unless I go into the actual calendar app. Is there any way to keep them there permanently?

I need a new calender or I need help figuring out whats wrong with my htc calender. Everytime I go to the page with my calender on it, all the days with events go blank and I have to scroll down to the next month and back up for them to appear.

View 18 Replies View RelatedI've been looking for a solution to an unusual problem, my work schedule repeats every 35 days.
When I used a windows device with outlook I could program in my rotation and make each day recur every 35 days. I could then look at my calendar and see on any given day of the year if I was off, or working nights, or days. The Google/Android calendar only offers recurring appointments up to 30 days, and won't sync with my version of outlook.
Does anyone know if the 12/11 update will include a sync option for all Outlook? Anyone know of a calendar app that will allow appointments to recur 35 days later? Is it possible to trick the Google calendar (or Yahoo, or Excite) to repeat at 35 days?
At one time I thought I could edit (aka change) a previous event by:
1) Selecting the date on the calendar view
2) Selecting the event
3) This brings me to the "Event details". When the the screen opens I see the whole edit menu for a moment. Then I only see the event with date and time and a line that says "my calendar" with an icon. The menu's only choices are "add reminder", "delete" and "share vCalendar".
At one time I had an way of editing the event. I just cannot figure out how to do it now.
I am using android 2.2 on my HTC desire and I have a strange issue with calendar. The fact is that the events are not "alligned" with the days at the top of calendar. That is, an event that is going to occur on october 13th, is displayed on the column correspondent to October 14th.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm using the stock HTC calendar application that comes on the Eris to sync with both my personal Google calendar and my Exchange calendar at work. I'm generally happy with the result except it only syncs about 2 weeks worth of events into the future. I would like to be able to see maybe 3 or so months worth of events on the Eris. I have plowed around in the settings and cannot locate anything that lets me choose how much of my Google & Exchange calendars to sync.

So is there any way to actually make the widget show the current day's events?

I'm now noticing that there are calendar events being created for the weather forecast of the upcoming 4-5 day. This never happened before.I have the calendar settings set to show the weather on the calendar view, but this just puts the weather in the bottom of the window. I like this.I also have weather set to sync in the sync settings, but I'm assuming this is for the weather widget on the home screen which I also like using.I don't like seeing all of the days showing events when there really aren't any.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using Companion Link to sync my Outlook with Gmail and thus to my Eris. So far it works flawlessly. All my calendar events show up, all details and notes included. The one weird problem I'm having is that while all of my calendar events show up in Outlook, and in the Gmail calendar, AND on the Eris calendar in either Month View (it shows the notch indicating an event that day) or in Day View (all events are correctly displayed) but --- if I switch to Agenda View, most of my events are NOT displayed. All Day events are all displayed as a few "timed events", but most timed events are not. Can't figure it out. I know the data is there. It is correctly displayed in every place and in every way EXCEPT Agenda View.

Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

View 2 Replies View RelatedDoes anybody else have this problem? My Calendar widget that comes with Android (Calendar) has been synched with my google calendar, but it only shows events for tomorrow, and even sends notifications for those events a full day early.
Example:
Today is Feb 11th. I have an event today (we'll call it A) and an event tomorrow (we'll call it B)
The calendar widget has a blue bar across the top that says "Thu 11" This is correct! Below that it has a white field that says
"Feb 12
Event B"
If I click on the widget it takes me to today's page in the calendar application, the 11th which shows me today's event.
How can I get my calendar widget on the front page to show me what is happening TODAY and give me notifications for it TODAY?
Does anyone use the calendar widget that shows the next upcoming event? And if so, does yours seem to be off by a day or so? It'll say Todayevent) and then it'll have whatever I have for the next day, and not the current day.

I've figured out the issue in regarding the alarm. My alarm only works if I have one alarm set, if there are more than 1 then that is when it will not sound the alarm.I just wanted to put that out there because I have seen people in need of the same help. View 3 Replies View RelatedI think this has been posted before but I haven't found an answer yet. I'm using the one-day calender widget. When I have an all day event, it shows the wrong date. For instance, I have a all day event on the 18th; today is the 16th and it's showing the event as being tomorrow.
Anyone else have this problem and find a fix yet?

I played with the Fascinate today for more than an hour at VZW. I LOVE IT. My only question is related to the calendar. On my D1 I have many more widget choices including the calendar. This widget displays on my home screen and always shows my next appointment whether it is today or in a week. The next calender entry always shows. This is not the case for the Fascinate. It has a nice widget that shows weather, stocks, and at the bottom appointments. It only shows today's appointments. I downloaded a calender widget app that was nice and may work but it would not open so I don't know.
Now the question: Can any of you guys with the fascinate comment on a widget that allows the widget to display the next entry on the calendar. To be clear on my D1, if I have no calendar entries for today, my 10am meeting tomorrow shows up on the widget with a time and date. Can one do this with the Fascinate.
