I'd like to have a better calendar app (not widget) for my SE Xperia mini pro and I'm not finding anything available. Mainly I want a calendar that has more options for settings. For example, the stock calendar shows only a few hours on the daily view, and does not automatically show the events on that day, doesn't collapse non-event times, etc. Of course I want a calendar that syncs with Google Calendar. Is there anything available, paid or free?
General :: Android Non-Stock Alternative Lockscreen
Oct 30, 2013I am looking for a lockscreen replacement that does not act as an app. All the lockscreens that I have installed from the Play market, act as an app, and as soon as I kill background apps (long pressing the home button and clearing running apps) when I lock my phone again, and unlock it the lockscreen is gone. Why is this not happening with my stock lock screen? Why do they even have lockscreens in the App store if none of them work?

Sep 5, 2010I hate the fact that when browsing web sites, I'm always directed to the "mobile" (WAP) site if there is one! Just wondeirng if there is a way to keep the Droid X browser from loading mobile (WAP) sites? I don't care to be directed to mobile sites. I know with the HTC Droid Incredible, as well as many other Android smartphones (other than Motorola it seems) there is an option to disable mobile sites and get the actual web site like it would be displayed on a desktop computer.

May 5, 2010A few weeks back I started using the full version of droid live (has another name now but I forget it at the moment) to stream various music and talk radio stations (both national and international) The program worked great, as I was able to easly connect and stream music/talk with virtually no drops. There is one local sports talk radio that I listen to the most. All of a sudden, in the last week or so, live has had serious problems connecting to that one specific station. Once connected however, the program actually works fine with no drops. it just takes repeated attempts to get it to connect. I know it is not a signal issue, as I get great 3G in my home and business. Sent an email to the developer a few days ago and have not heard anything back yet. So do any of you know of any decent programs that might rival droid live?

May 1, 2010When I make a 'phone only' appointment, and set a reminder, the reminder goes off, and so does the actual appointment. Fine.
However, when I make a 'phone only' appointment, with NO reminder, I'm not alerted to the actual appointment that I made. Absolutely nothing.
Is this 'by design', which I very much doubt, or a possible flaw in the application itself?

Aug 25, 2010The stock calendar on my Dinc is acting up. When I add an event and want to edit it at a later date it often will not let me change the date and/or time. It also mysteriously duplicates the event at times. Also when I open my calendar and search for an event it will always show the event as listed the day before the actual event.

Add reminder
Delete Event
Share vCalendar
Agenda
But no "Edit Event". In order to edit an event I have to long press while in the Agenda or Day View listing. Anyone else noticed this? I swore on 2.1 "Edit Event" was an option.

Sep 5, 2010Recently started trying out ADW and LauncherPro, and the one thing Ive noticed is that when I add a widget/app to a page I can no longer seem to get it to fullscreen like it came stock.
On my sense layout, the calendar is a full page display of the month, whereas now when I try to add it it shows up as a small 2x2 notepad date that I have to click to get to the full month. Its the same with the stock music player. I small widget compared to the near fullscreen one Ive been used to.
