I made all the appointments in my Calendar for MY CALENDAR but now on my GMAIL CALENDAR nothing is there, but they are both color coded blue so why don't they sync together?

I added the Sports Calendar to my google account and it shows up on my online Google calendar but not on my Motorola Droid. I did the same with the US Holidays calendar and it instantly worked both online and my Droid.

View 7 Replies View RelatedSince the firmware update, my calendar won't successfully sync. In "settings>accounts and sync>google" the calendar line shows a constantly spinning sync icon. Contacts and gmail sync to the same account just fine.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI tried a search but came up empty on this one. Right now I have 2 Google accounts, the first one will sync contacts, mail and calendar no problem. However I added my second Google account and there are only options for syncing mail and contacts, there is no checkbox to sync the calendar like my other account. Do I need to delete the first account? I'd prefer to have everything sync from account #2 if that is my only choice. Also, if I do delete the first account my phone says I need to reset the OS to factory standards because the calendar is linked to some of my apps, any way around that? Running 2.1 OTA if that matters.
View 2 Replies View Relatedmy phone is syncing to google calendar just fine. Im having sync issues between my outlook on my PC and the google calendar. I'm using goog calendar sync and it doesnt seem to wan to sync ALL apts. It seemed to work fine at first but now I can try to force a sync and there are a few entries on my outlook for next week that it just wont sync. But if I put a new dummy entry in to test it seems to sync.It's sporadic.Any suggestions? This is the only solution I can use as HTC sync does not work for me.Plus I like the fact that it's 2 way and it happens automatically..no direct connection required.

View 2 Replies View Relatedwhen I have a new event come up I add it to my phone so I dont forget it, with my Blackberry when I was at an appointment I would add notes and sync it, my office could see my notes in my Google calender and act accordingly. I noticed yesterday the 2 appointments I have this week are NOT showing up in my Google calender on the web. I have the sync set up auto, calender and gmail boxes checked in settings, what am I missing. This is causing me scheduling conflicts and I cant leave it like this.
View 11 Replies View RelatedMy issue is with Google Sync and Office 2003. It works perfectly for 99.9% of what I expect it to do. I add an event on my work PC and -WHAMMO- it appears on my gCal and on my Eris in moments (If I do a force sync, otherwise it takes 1hr). The issue is, when I receive an invite to a meeting. Such that there is an "Accept / Decline / Tentative" option that we who use MS Office are probably familiar with. If I accept that meeting it will appear on my work computer, but will not sync in any way, shape or form w/ gCal, or my phone. I have to enter all these by hand on my work computer and THEN then they will show up. The reason I ask is: a) I'd like to not have to enter the meetings I'm INVITED to manually.....

Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

Have successfully imported my old calendar to Google Calendar which initially synced with the calendar on my captivate. However, when I add a new event to my phone calendar, it does not automatically show up on the Google calendar. the Samsung rep told me I have to edit each new even to mark it as a "Google Calendar". Is there any way to make this the default option on the Captivate phone? I am hoping to have automatic syncronization b/t the phone and the Google calendar without having to force it to do so each time.

No problem with appointments / events created on desktop syncing down to phone. Problem Identification: Default calendar when creating appointment / event on phone was calendar called "Phone". There is no calendar on desktop called "Phone". Solution: Pick different calendar when creating an appointment / event on your phone.

I would REALLY like to have my Outlook calendar (at minimum) pushed/synchronized to my phone. Is there an app or a way to configure this to work? Right now I am using the Outlook Web Mobile app for my email and I can view my calendar there but I would like schedule/calendar all in one place.

And I configure the username and pwd from DevTools->Google Service Login successfully. Now I can start the Calendar app successfully, with the month view/week view/etc. But I don't know how to sync the calendars or events with Google Calendar service. From the source code, I assume there should happen sync operation. But it didn't happened. And I know another trigger to sync is Menu->More->My Calendars, but after selected, the activity will crash. A previous thread states you have to choose "google calendar" when generating an event on the calendar on the phone, however, when I try to edit the event, under "Calendar" the setting is "My calendar" but I can't change the setting (tapping on it does nothing)

My old calendar had individual pop ups for each event, the pop up allowed you to open/snooze/ or dismiss each item individually. Also my old calendar had no trouble syncing my gmail and facebook calendars. Android seems to have trouble doing this seemingly simple task. Is there an app or special calendar that can do this?

I have a gmail account setup in K9 mail and am using the mail app to connect to and sync with my companies Exchange server. I have mail, contacts, and calendars setup to sync for all accounts. On my Android calendar app I see both the gmail and exchange calendar items, and in google contacts I see both gmail and exchange contacts. But the calendar events are not syncing with google calendar. I've tried deleting and recreating the exchange account with no luck. Can someone tell me if there's a trick to doing this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm a new Droid Eris user and have been using Google Calendar for some time.I have a single calendar set up which is syncing with the Eris.I can successfully add/edit/delete entries from both applications and have them show up just fine on the other side.I have a couple of recurring entries that I've since deleted in Google Calendar but are still showing up on my Eris.The unique thing about both of these entries is that they were meeting requests sent to my Gmail address and accepted from there.They have since been cancelled from the original sender and are now removed from my Google Calendar.My calendar entries are labeled as dark blue, and these two show as light blue.I cannot select them on the Eris to edit or delete them.

One thing will determine whether the Droid ends up being life-changing or just cool... I need to work out some calendar issues! Two calendar related questions:
1. Can anyone help me to resolve a sync problem? I'll try to explain my issue as clearly as I can... when I got my Droid, my Google calendar events magically showed up on the phone. Up until now, I only had a few personal things on my Google calendar. Since I'm now hoping to have only my work calendar on the phone, I went on my computer and deleted all events so I could start with a clean slate.
Calendar is now clear when checked on my computer and clear when checked on the browser on the Droid, but when I click on the calendar icon on the home screen of the Droid, all of the old calendar events are still there. To see if it just wasn't syncing, I tried adding an event on the Droid and on the computer, and both showed up. Just the old events won't go away. Anyone know what's up with that and how to resolve it?
2. I'm also interested to hear if Google calendar is buggy in general or has a lot of syncing issues. I'm using what my clients refer to as "the last Palm Pilot on earth" to schedule appointments and I live in fear of some horrible incident that would incapacitate both my Palm Pilot and the computer I sync it to (the girl's got issues, what can I say?). I got the Droid thinking that the solution to my problem would be using the calendar on the phone so it would back up to Google calendar and I'd have all my info safe and sound.
Now that I'm having an issue with the calendars not syncing properly, I'd worry that a scheduled or deleted event might not show up on the calendar, which would be a disaster in my line of work. Do any of you successfully use this calendar setup?
I haven't been able to figure out how to do this and the only way I can get to my Google calendar is to go thru the browser and log in.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI just got root access the other day, and i'm running the 2.1 ROM (build number ESE81 by Pete) that I got from ROM Manager.I've started to run into an annoyance that I didn't have before (or at least didn't notice)... It doesn't sync with the google calendar correctly.(similar, but not identical, thread here.)It seems to have duplicated all events on all calendars onto the primary calendar. I tried to simply delete the calendar (which actually just removes all events, since you can't really delete it). Even after sync, though, it doesn't delete what was deleted on the webapp. Interestingly enough, it does copy events that i add to the calendar webapp.This means that android sync sees the new events, but doesn't see that all the old events were deleted. Any ideas? I suppose this may just be a GCal bug, but my gut feeling is that it's because of the rooted ROM.
