HTC Hero :: Way To Get Beebplayer In Market At Moment?
May 21, 2010Has anyone noticed an absence of beebplayer in the market at the moment? Is it just the market being a bit special and not bringing it up for now, or have the BBC decided it's against the rules again? Alternatively, has anyone got the .apk for it?

Sep 11, 2010I noticed today that the "downloads" section within Market no longer shows any of the free apps that I downloaded-only the two apps that I paid for are shown. Does anyone else have this issue? Is there a way to bring this list back? A soft reset did not help.

Nov 14, 2009I downloaded beebplayer straight away cause i am a frequent iplayer user, but beebplayer is 100% unwatchable for me. The video and sound stop and start every few seconds. Could it be because my wireless is Belkin Pre-N? If it is because of the router, is there anyway to fix it short of buying a new one, cause I cant afford it at the moment. Does Flash in the browser only work for certain things? I've been trying to watch some break.com, tvshack and megavideo (all flash) but all that seems to happen is the player itself comes up, loads, but never starts playing?

HTC Desire HD :: All SMS Disappeared After Update Firmware
Nov 9, 2010Last night they were all there, this morning nothing. At first I thought it was just slow to load them, it sometimes happens & you wait for a couple of seconds then they all appear. But not today. I updated my firmware yesterday twice - first to 1.32.405.3 and then to 1.32.405.6 - but they were definitely there after the updates. I've seen some other threads with the same issue on other phones but they're all at least a few months old. htcsense.com has, disaapointingly, not got all of my messages either. It seems to have most of them (including the last one I sent) but somehow is missing some in between.

I will wait for Froyo in the hope that it fixes the problems. If not I will be exchanging the Desire for something else on Orange UK network. So what are worthwhile competitors to the Desire (Android OS of course). Will the HTC EVO be available? Are the Samsung Galaxy or Sony X10 be viable alternatives? Any good suggestions for other phones (excluding the Nexus One) that could match up to the Desire without having such a large number of bugs/problems?

Actually I modified these files with RecoveryFileManager at first but I found that was failed after I reboot the device, so I just type these commands into the init.d, but after that, I just find my status bar and notification bar was lost and disappeared, not only home screen but also all around the surface in the system.

May 1, 2010Massive problems with the market im experiencing, iv had my desire for 3 weeks, and no problems at all, UNTILL NOW, whats going on?
I go to search in the market, and type in dialer, it brings up all the customisable dialer choices, if i choose ANY of them, i go to pay, and everytime i get the error message "A server error has occurred,retry, or cancel and return to the previous screen" but it is only on the dialer packages.i can buy and download anything else fine,

Apr 10, 2010 I have been scrolling through the market looking at the free apps and considering downloading some of them, however I keep getting the warning notifications and some of them can be quite scary ie will access phone contact data etc and this puts me right off downloading. Some of the sites are what I would call trusted sites and I already have them on my PC at home.
My friend has an I phone and never gets these warnings and downloads lots of apps, so im sure she thinks my phone is rubbish compared to hers
So is it safe for me to download and why does Apple not provide the same warnings...
