My phone , HTC x one plus .. have a problem .. when I put the earphones in , the sound came from both earphones and the phone speaker.
How can I route Call sound to phone speaker on cm7 without using any Paid apps. My phones mic doesn't work and no mechanics were able to fix it. No HTC care or something is present in my city. I am able to use my phone with headphone mic. Now I want to fix the problem headphone mic to my phone but only problem is I need the sounds to come out of the phone speaker/sbox.
Basically :
My phone need to do this:
Headphone mic for voice input.
BUT outputs call sound through phone speaker or sound box.
I only need it during phone calls but all time is okay too.
I'm rooted, s off on cm7.2 drowning child's kernel, on the Intruder(At&t)
Version of the now low end phone HTC Aria.
It has a room choice of cyanogenmod 6 and 7.2 official, cm9,10 custom ported.
Everytime I start any audio or video there seems to be a pop sound that occurs. It's louder if I happen to pause a track and then resume playing it again. It's still there even if I use my own earphones as well, so I'm thinking it's the handset. It doesn't happen with the speaker, only the 3.5mm jack. I was just wondering if it was a common issue or a problem just with my handset.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having problems with the ear-speaker of my HTC Hero. It has been working great for near 4 months now then out of nowhere the ear-speaker stopped working yesterday. Whenever I try to make or receive a call I cannot hear the other person speaking. If I switch to speaker or headset then I can hear them just fine, but if I try to use the ear-speaker there's nothing. Anyone got any bright ideas on what's wrong/how to fix it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to tell if an app is currently using the speaker (playing music or generating other sounds)? Specifically, I'd like to detect if an alarm clock is going off (not only the one that comes with the system, but any alarm clock), but I'll settle for simply knowing if any sounds are coming out of the speaker.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there a way in Android to force output through the phone speaker, even if a headphone is plugged into the jack? I know there has to be a way because when you are talking on the phone, you can put someone on speaker phone, even if there is headphones plugged into the jack.

He had to bring the first one back due to his external speaker sounded blown, and now the replacement one he got is doing the same thing. We were wondering if this is a popular problem and if the next replacement he gets Saturday is going to do the same thing all over again. He never uses the external speaker only for the message alerts. We are both stumped onto why the same thing would happen to both phones. I have the same phone and mine hasnt done it I do have mine on vibrate a lot more then his.

Let me know if you have any thoughts.
My new Samsung s4 thinks that the earphones are connected and will not allow me to hear my incoming calls etc as if they were really connected. Cannot find where to tell the phone that it is actually mistaken and the earphones are not connected. Could this be that the port is damaged?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Galaxy S3. I download music from iTunes and sync it on my S3 using WMP. The thing is, once the songs are on my phone, they will not play through my earphones but through the speakers instead. It does that only with the songs purchased on iTunes. In my car, iTunes songs play through the car speakers but at a very low volume, even if both the volume in the car and on the phone are at max. Now what to do?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a samsung galaxy s2 on AT&T running android 4.0.4. I have the bluetooth set up to play audio through my car stereo.
Everything was working fine until a couple of days ago when I accidentally booted my phone into safe mode. I re-booted it back into normal mode, but a lot of my settings got messed up after that happened.
The odd thing is that now, when I am in my car, the phone connects to the stereo over bluetooth - I see the name of the song, artist, etc information on the car stereo, and can do things like skip to the next song using the controls in the car. However, the sound actually plays through the phone speaker instead of the car speakers!
