Dec 15, 2009How do I sync an event that I add on my phone to show up on my computer and vise versa? I want to be able to have the event show up on both devices even if I only add it to one.

Sprint HTC Hero :: Prevent Phone From Syncing New Calendar Events?
Dec 1, 2009When I sync my Sprint HTC Hero with Windows Vista (using HTC Sync version 2.0.8), I get the following error message: "The application com.android.providers.calendar (process com.htc.calendar) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I also get this message occasionally when I'm not syncing. It doesn't seem to prevent my Hero from syncing new calendar events, but the error message is annoying. Anyone have an idea why I'm getting it and what I can do about it?

Aug 10, 2010I have my gmail, contacts, and calendar syncing with my Google account. Everything seems to be working fine except for the calendar. It's only doing a one-way sync - events from my Google calendar are syncing to my phone but events created on my phone are not syncing to my calendar.
Is there a setting that I'm missing somewhere?
Motorola Droid :: Events Syncing From Google Calendar Without Reminder
Dec 14, 2009I just noticed that none of my events on my Droid have any reminders. They have reminders in Google Calendar online, and in Outlook (they are sync'd from Outlook to Google Calendar by the "Syncmycal" program.) So somewhere between Google Calendar and my Droid I'm loosing reminder settings. The events are all there in my calendar, but none of them has a reminder set.

Nov 16, 2010I love my new Android phone, and I am able to sync my songs/podcasts just fine using Easy Phone Tunes.
But I really liked that my iPod/iPhone would sync perfectly with my podcasts. If I played 15 minutes of the Dave Ramsey show on my iPhone, and then connected it to my computer, then I could continue the show on my computer. Additionally, after I connected my iPhone to the computer, I knew which podcasts to delete as it would show them as "played".
Is there a way to accomplish this with the Android phone? I am willing to give up on iTunes to make this happen. I am still using a Mac though.

If I create an event in Google calendar on the desktop, I can schedule it to repeat every other week. I cannot find this choice if I create an event on the android calendar. On my Captivate, I only see weekly, monthly, etc. Is there a way to schedule events to recur every other week on the Android? Maybe I'm just missing it. I learn new things on this phone every day.

Most of the time things work properly. But sometimes my application does not receive events of Phone State Listener and hence it is not able to change/clear UI.From user feedback this typically occurs on HTC Hero. But I have came across this issue sometime on other devices also.My first guess is that android is killing my application in midway during call due to memory requirement. If so, is there any way to ensure that android does not my kill application under such situation .

I miss a lot of calls because I always have my phone in vib or silent because of school. Is there a way that I can the phone in vibrate when im in class or other meeting type events? I'm using the calender that came with my phone synced to my google calender.I'm not sure if the calendar software being used on my phone is an android default, htc, or google calender software. Aug 28, 2010I'm having an issue with my Exchange calendar. I currently sync my calendar and email through Exchange. Events added to my outlook calendar via computer show up on my phone and work perfectly. But, when I add events to my phone calendar, my only available calendars are my google calendars and my PC Sync. I never use PC sync. It does not give me the option of adding events to my Exchange calendar.
I had to reset my Exchange account after the Froyo update, and I thought that I had everything working properly. I don't add events to my outlook calendar through my phone very often, so it's likely that this has been an issue since Froyo. Has anyone else run into this problem or have any ideas how to fix it?

Currently, I have a Mac Book Pro and use Microsoft Entourage as my email, calender, contact software. I currently have a Motorola Q9c phone and use Missing Sync program to get my phone to sync.I would like to be able to load music from Itunes, my contacts and calender from Entourage. Will I need a new program to do this?

Aug 10, 2010In iTunes (I switched from Tmobile iPhone to Android Slide), when you desktop sync, if you delete an email on the phone, it deletes in the Outlook application (once sync'd).I understand why this does not work with Google Sync (well not really.why would they not do the same thing the iPhone does with deleted emails.I guess they tag/keep track of deletions, then compare to the PC).I delete many emails via my phone. With the current setup, I then have to go and remember what was deleted, then do it again on my PC (Windows). TMO customer service has no idea their answer is you have to delete them twice (and basically remember what you deleted).

Android :: Calendar Removing Items/reminders From Phone When Syncing
Jun 3, 2010I am having problems that when I manually or automatically sync my Gmail/Google calendar from my phone or - items and/or reminders are disappearing.
For instance, I am viewing my Gmail calendar and US Holidays Calendar in the Calendars view - I turned off/unchecked "My Calendar" and "PC Sync" calendar. I can add a reminder or two to father's day - which is June 20th and when I go back or press home I see it has saved the reminder and added a picture of a bell to the entry in my Agenda view. The reminder is there when I double check it.
But when I manually sync the calendar up with Google/Gmail sync in Accounts & sync OR let the Calendar automatically sync the alert will be taken off father's day.
I have had this problem with Events too... I will add a new event, it shows up and saves but I noticed it has disappeared from the Calendar after the sync has taken place.
Anyone else experiencing this? I looked at my Gmail/Calendar settings on the phone and Gmail online and can't find anything.
I have the HTC Incredible with Android 2.1.
