When I add events on the phone through the native app it syncs as an invitation in the desktop version. Is it possible to get it to create actual events instead of inviting myself to my homework or doctor's appointment?

Is there a way to change the default calendar to which events are added to? I'm syncing to google calendar but when I create an event, it's set to be added to the "My Calendar"and had to be changed each time.

While I was looking through it, all of the little tabs disappeared and I have no idea what days I have events unless I go into the actual calendar app. Is there any way to keep them there permanently?
View 2 Replies View RelatedThe calender sync feature puts in all future events but no past ones. This happens on both exchange and google calenders. The synch does not eliminate the past events on the exchange server on on my laptop google calender. My blackberry had a setting for this. I can not find a similar setting which allows me to retain the past events on the Droid.

Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to keep work events separate from home events, which I loaded onto the phone's Calender. I went ahead and downloaded the Calendar Pad for Android and it is really great. It went and synched with the Calendar app native to the device, which is find because i really like the UI.
But I need a separate calendar app for my work stuff. I don't want them on the same calendar (way too crowded).
Anyone know of an app that just "keeps to itself"? I searched and I couldn't find one.
I just reset my phone (while rooting and installing xtrSENSE). I'm now noticing that there are calendar events being created for the weather forecast of the upcoming 4-5 day. This never happened before.I have the calendar settings set to show the weather on the calendar view, but this just puts the weather in the bottom of the window. I like this.I also have weather set to sync in the sync settings, but I'm assuming this is for the weather widget on the home screen which I also like using.I don't like seeing all of the days showing events when there really aren't any.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the DX and my wife still has the Blackberry Storm. How do I send her a calender invite? She has sent me a few invites and they get into my calender after I open the email. When I'm sending her a invite nothing happens. Just to make sure I am doing this correctly. I go to the calender long press a spot on the calender. Select "New Event". Fill out "What" IE: Dr. Appt. And then fill out "Who" I enter her email address and then press save.
View 4 Replies View RelatedAt one time I thought I could edit (aka change) a previous event by:
1) Selecting the date on the calendar view
2) Selecting the event
3) This brings me to the "Event details". When the the screen opens I see the whole edit menu for a moment. Then I only see the event with date and time and a line that says "my calendar" with an icon. The menu's only choices are "add reminder", "delete" and "share vCalendar".
At one time I had an way of editing the event. I just cannot figure out how to do it now.
I'm using Companion Link to sync my Outlook with Gmail and thus to my Eris. So far it works flawlessly. All my calendar events show up, all details and notes included. The one weird problem I'm having is that while all of my calendar events show up in Outlook, and in the Gmail calendar, AND on the Eris calendar in either Month View (it shows the notch indicating an event that day) or in Day View (all events are correctly displayed) but --- if I switch to Agenda View, most of my events are NOT displayed. All Day events are all displayed as a few "timed events", but most timed events are not. Can't figure it out. I know the data is there. It is correctly displayed in every place and in every way EXCEPT Agenda View.

I have reverted back to a working older version.
My Google Calendar App syncs google calendar appointments just fine. But "Corporate" accounts, which include my Hotmail and GroupWise calendars, won't sync calendar appointments older than two weeks. Even worse: appointments from older than two weeks ago actually drop off.
On settings, I have it set to sync all. I tried adding and removing accounts. I tried deleting calendar memory/cache. I have even tried returning my Nexus 7. The replacement has the same issue.
I made all the appointments in my Calendar for MY CALENDAR but now on my GMAIL CALENDAR nothing is there, but they are both color coded blue so why don't they sync together?
