Is it possible to have events show up on my phone's calendar with different colors like you can on the calendar in Googlemail/GMail? When I try and create different calendars in the Googlemail/GMail calendar the events show up on my phone, but they don't have the same color as the calendar on the PC.

View 3 Replies View RelatedIf I am going through my calendar day by day it shows me from about 8am to 5pm. If there's anything before 8am or after 5pm, I don't see it without scrolling. On my old Treo, it would get rid of some of the unallocated hours between 8am to 5pm to ensure other events fit on the screen. Anyway to do this within the Calendar? I'm using Agenda in the meantime but would really like to see just the day's events for whatever day I'm looking at.

So is there any way to actually make the widget show the current day's events?

That is, an event that is going to occur on october 13th, is displayed on the column correspondent to October 14th.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with my Exchange calendar. I currently sync my calendar and email through Exchange. Events added to my outlook calendar via computer show up on my phone and work perfectly. But, when I add events to my phone calendar, my only available calendars are my google calendars and my PC Sync. I never use PC sync. It does not give me the option of adding events to my Exchange calendar.
I had to reset my Exchange account after the Froyo update, and I thought that I had everything working properly. I don't add events to my outlook calendar through my phone very often, so it's likely that this has been an issue since Froyo. Has anyone else run into this problem or have any ideas how to fix it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I sync my Sprint HTC Hero with Windows Vista (using HTC Sync version 2.0.8), I get the following error message: "The application com.android.providers.calendar (process com.htc.calendar) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again." I also get this message occasionally when I'm not syncing. It doesn't seem to prevent my Hero from syncing new calendar events, but the error message is annoying. Anyone have an idea why I'm getting it and what I can do about it?

I have a Droid X2. I downloaded Google Calendar Sync to my computer which synced my Outlook with my Gmail calendar, and that displayed on my phone, but events created on the phone do not display in the Google calendar or Outlook.
I have gone to phone Settings > Accounts > checked Gmail to sync calendar. Google Calendar Sync on my computer is set for 2-way syncing and to do so every 15 minutes. The phone is rooted.
I did a search but cant seem to find an answer. I finally got my work email set up through active sync. Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

While I was looking through it, all of the little tabs disappeared and I have no idea what days I have events unless I go into the actual calendar app. Is there any way to keep them there permanently?

The only problem is before my events were a pleasant shade of light blue. Now they changed to a kind of ugly maroon-red color. Is there any way to change the color of the boxes?

I have my hero using built in calendar app.I have a google calendar and a Exchange calendar, I also have My calendar, not sure what that is. I would like to have all the calendars sync using the phone as the main source. So for example if I create a meeting on my phone it also shows on my exchange calendar and my google calendar. At the moment I have to add a calendar entry under the calendar I want the entry to show up on.So If I add an entry to my exchange calendar it doesn't show in google calendar. View 11 Replies View RelatedOn my HTC Incredible, since day 1 and after the updates (including Froyo) I am not able to see the names of events on my calendar in any of the calendar views except the "Today" view.All I see is the rectangle graphics depicting some event is taking place but inside the rectangle the event name is not displayed forcing me to open every event to what it is from the Calendar application.Therefore,I have to resort to using the Agenda widget to scroll through event names by date to get a quick overview. I haven't gotten my hands on someone else's Incredible to verify if this is just the way it is on this phone, but I would venture to guess not.I've used and seen plenty of Blackberry's and used to looking at weekly calendar views and all of the event names and their times/duration laid out graphically (with the event names in the rectangles).

There was no notification what the alert was or anything. Only reason I knew it was that event is because it popped up in Outlook on my PC as well. I had a rooted 2.1, and just updated to a rooted 2.2 stock rom and now it seems I can create calendar events fine, but when I go to the event to try and edit it, it only says "Add reminder, Delete event, Share vCalendar, and Agenda" as the options.
