I installed SuperCam on my Hero with Fresh 1.0. It worked great and I could view all my security cams from anywhere. I loaded Fresh 2.0D and now thew app is no longer available in the market. I restored my Nandroid backup and the app still works. is there a way to move this app from the phone so i can put it back after reloading 2.0d?

i have tried nearly ever single application on the market that claims to block private numbers but it none of them work for me... Idk if its because of the Sprint service or the applications just dont work. I know GBlocker blocks the calls. But it dont block the texts, or prevent it from going to voicemail. Nor does it block private calls. There was this other one I had that blocked calls too but same thing with GBlocker. What i dont understand is that if you choose the option "BLOCK ALL CALLS" it will then block private calls. But the option to just block the private calls fails to work. Is there anything out there that actually works? I have considered buying extreme blocker for $5 but whats the point if it might not work? When blocked numbers call, i dont want their voicemails. Nor do I wanna know their calling.

View 11 Replies View RelatedNot sure how to properly describe this but bear w/me. I'm running OTA 2.2 on a no-rooted, stock phone. No problems w/ phone what-so-ever until this morning. This morning, when I go to, let's say People or Mail or X-Scope etc, if I either hit the Back or Home button to get back to my Home screen the 2nd HTC boot screen comes up briefly (the one w/ the green HTC letters, then a blank Home screen w/ the "Loading" message briefly appears after which the screen repopulates itself w/ my icons as normal. This is happening in all applications when I hit Back or Home to return to Home. So far I've pulled the battery twice but I still have the problem. Phone is fully charged. Is this what would be considered the Forced Closing problem?

But it is slow, so, I tried to use oldFile.Rename(newFile), but it always return false. Any idea? The reason I am doing this is to hide some files from my sdcard, so, nobody can see them.

Bourne to Blog: Negotiating with your Mobile Phone Carrier. I wanted to upgrade to an Android phone, but this would require a "data plan". Some time ago, I was told that since I wanted to keep my plan, I could add unlimited data for an additional $30/month and keep the plan. However, about a month ago, I emailed customer service wanting to do this with the Android phone. They told me can't do this with the Android phone, you'll have to switch to data plan (essentially losing my plan).
So, here's what I did: My dad got me an Android on his "Family Plan" along with my step-mom and step-sister. To add me onto his plan is just an additional $20 per month. So, this made the most economical sense (since I wasn't about to give up my old phone and plan).
So I rooted my phone, did a nanodroid back-up, and added a custom Rom. At first I flashed MoCaDo onto the phone but I had a lot of force closes. So I flashed Fresh .5 over MocaDo 1.1 and the force closes stop. The phone feels a lot zipper. I have WiFi tether. Spare parts is great. Now how do I move apps to the sd card to free up more space?

First, is moving things I don't use from where they are. It is possible to move the Browser icon off the home page?
On the first tap to the right I have the music application, and I never use that. I would like to use that space for App icons. Can I move that?
Finally, two taps to the left is the calender. Can I move that?
I know how to remove widgets... you long press on them to move them/delete them. My problem is this: I don't know how to remove regular icons on the Hero. On the Moment, everything was simply long press to remove. On this, long pressing the application icons on my home screen(s) just opens the associated programs. I kind of wanted to move them around, I don't wanna have to delete a scene everytime I want to move one icon around.
In short: How do you move/delete application icons from the home screens? (long pressing doesn't work for me)

NOTE- I already tried ~Settings>Applications>Browser and then click the button Clear Cache and Clear Data then reboot your phone.~

I just go my Sprint Hero on Sunday and it rocks! What's the must have Apps? Music? Sirius satellite radio? Photo�s? Also, my screen sometimes doesn't turn when I move the phone horizontally.

View 17 Replies View RelatedTho it seems the update did fix the problem with the native app, Handcent is still the way to go, at least for me. Seems the native app can't handle more than a 1 meg pic file and since I often include a pic in a text, taken from the Hero its of no use to me. Handcent will reduce the pic file automatically which is a nice feature. Also I refuse to lower the setting from the Hero just to accommodate the native app. Just my thought on that issue.

I remember literally doing my HW online with that kb. Was just wondering if devs ever considered using that kb with 2.1 builds. I'm sure our kb's can be better than what it is (laggy).

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just got back from having my headset speaker replaced (i think it blew) and when i got my phone back, the back cover is really loose. I pointed this out and they offered to put a new cover on. The new cover did the same thing and they said that it must have been like that when they got it in. I saw the guy struggle to take the cover off when he went to pull the battery and check water spot. Does anyone else have this problem and how do i fix it. It takes absolutely no effort what so ever to take the cover off now. The slightest bump or slide and its off.
