Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: How Much Data Phone Is Receiving / Sending

I got the phone last week and very disappointed with low sound volume but seems I am not alone....anyway that's not my question.I am interested in how much my 3G connection is active and how much data my phone is receiving/sending. I installed the 3G Watchdog app and for example this morning with browsing BBC website with NO downloads etc it is showing 4.76MB data alone (3.96MB received and 838KB transmitted). My 3G connection is almost always flashing with the arrows showing data transfer but what is it?!
Facebook has all updates off
Email is synced hourly
Moxier calendar daily
I seem to have a "background" data transfer of 3MB/day and this is without any browsing etc...what is going on?!

Got a X10 Mini last week and love it to bits.How the heck does one send a contact as a business card? Also does not seem to receive any business cards sent to the phone from other phones. Please don't tell me that it can't do this.Another question: How does one send a text message (sms) to multiple recipients?And a last one: It appears that it does not keep any record of sent text messages, so one cannot go back and check which messages one sent - ridiculous!

I'm facing a problem with my new Xperia X10 Mini pro. I CAN'T SEND/RECEIVE FILES VIA BLUETOOTH.
I can pair my phone to another phones but it's impossible to establish a connection and send files via Bluetooth.

My phone starting locking yesterday and on pressing the home putting brings up the message reactivating phone & brings up the Sony Ericsson start up screen. Then shoes "Emergency Nos Only". It won't receive texts but I am able to send them. Calls appear to be working ok other than I had a couple of missed calls yesterday which apparently rang once and then said phone is switched off. I have done a reset but it's still the same. I've also had a problem with apps appearing on the home screen without me putting them there - I had four digital clocks on it yesterday. Is this a software problem?

I have a question. The phone is set to vibrate when receiving SMS messages in the Messaging options. I only receive the audio notification and no vibration. I have also tried it with the program SMSPopup and its the same thing. I downloaded another one, SMSMorse, and it vibrates with this one, vibrating in mores code the message or the sender's name. The problem is that the mores code is long and it wastes the battery. I have sent a complaint to SE and they told me to take out the battery so it resets but no lock. The next thing they told me is to do a factory reset but I don't want to lose all of my settings and everything.

I recently bought a X10 mini/pro. Today I took a look at my latest invoice from the phone company. I was billed for sending a text message to a swedish phone number...........Searching the internet I found out that many people experience that their Sony Ericsson phones, by themselves, send text messages to a phone number belonging to Sony Ericsson, Sweden.

I am having a difficulty getting texts on my x10. It is branded orange but is unlocked and "working" on three UK. I can surf the net on it (I added a APN) and send and receive calls again just not getting any texts. At one point I did and it was when 3 told me to reboot the phone to finish the process and after reboot hey presto! I can send texts on three and other SIMs work fine. Can't receive calls either, when you phone it is says the number is not recognized.

i have the x10 on orange and have been experiencing problems receiving (or not as the case maybe) sms, it can take hours for a txt to come through and then usually half a dozen arrive at the same time, anybody else had a problem with this? and does anyone know what causes it and what i can do to fix it?

I've had my X10 mini pro for about a month and now I can't stand some of the "features" anymore. First, I thought people where crazy, sending me the same sms two or three times in a row. But now I've realized that they aren't, it's just my phone that receives them over and over again. It is the same thing with notifications. If I set a reminder in the calendar, the reminder pops up in my notification bar sometimes five or six times before I get to angry and delete the whole event from the calendar. Is these problems specific to me or do anyone else recognize them?

Im currently using Handcent SMS for my texts but just one thing that bugs me, is there any way of disabling receiving 2 texts when you receive one, what I mean is one goes into Handcent SMS and the other goes into the normal SMS inbox??? Is there a way to stop this??

Had my x10 for nearly 2 weeks now and absolutely love it, I have one niggle though, When sending sms i cant add contact instead having to enter number, This is really frustrating me as it takes ages to get number. All my other phones were able to add contact rather than number, Is there a solution?

Setup up the MMS APN correctly in mobile networks, if there is nothing in there, select sony erricson in the top menu in side settings, and download network settings.
Go into the MMS APN and setup as per the attached document.
Basically when a text is more than 1 is goes via MMS hence it's failing because the settings for this for vodafone on the X10 are incomplete...figures!!
Once your done power the phone down, take out the sim card power the phone back on.
Once in turn it off put the Sim card back in power up and your done you can now send

Hey..not a real problem, but since my 2.1 upgrade when I receive a text message my notification rings twice for one message. Anyone else get this? It's just weird behavior...nothing I can't live with.

I can NOT send pictures through SMS on an X10a Unbranded phone, but if I use a X10a Rogers unlocked it works, I'm on AT&T, both phones have the same APNs and all the settings I can check, any suggestions?

I just got my xperia yesterday but for some reason i cant seem to send text messages when i put my sim in the new phone. i can receive them, make and receive calls and get on the internet no problem. i have also tried resetting the factory settings twice!

everytime I go to send an sms thats 3 pages long it will send then I get a notification saying unable to send Nd the receiver only gets half the message ! this is really winding me up it happens everytime its 3 or more pages long !

Ok, the thing is that I sometimes need to send a mass SMS/MMS to a number of contacts, but can't seem to access the contacts book to mark/check the ones I want to sed the message to.Is there any way that I can do it? Instead of inputting it one by one? It's very annoying!?

I have a no-brand (full price, 499 €) X10 bought in Italy as soon as released on the market. I still have the old R1FA014 firmware, and both SEUS and the OTA application say that I already have the most recent firmware. However the rest of the world had R1FA016 and now some operator-branded phones are receiving R2BA020 firmware. How it is possible that branded phones are receiving the update before full price unbranded phones? I'm so dissatisfied with Sony Ericsson. I always had Ericsson phones, but now I'm really disappointed.
