I have Google and Roger email account set up on my phone. Is there a way to stop receiving spam emails when retrieving email from these accounts?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI've had my X10 mini pro for about a month and now I can't stand some of the "features" anymore. First, I thought people where crazy, sending me the same sms two or three times in a row. But now I've realized that they aren't, it's just my phone that receives them over and over again. It is the same thing with notifications. If I set a reminder in the calendar, the reminder pops up in my notification bar sometimes five or six times before I get to angry and delete the whole event from the calendar. Is these problems specific to me or do anyone else recognize them?

View 6 Replies View Relatedi've been on my Xperia X10 for a few weeks now, I feel like i manage the phone and Android pretty well, but there is still one thing that I can't figure out. All the SE online help, the phone manual, phone electronic manual, even my phone carrier, all say that i can link my phone to facebook in my Online Service Accounts....Strange thing is that I do not have facebook listed there.

Ironicly i'm interested only in facebook. I've been searching this "bug", if that's what it is, for a while now, and I have not found anywhere mensioning anything of facebook not beeing listed there. Maybe I've done a poor search, but now I'm curious to see if anybody on this SE forum might know why facebook might not be listed in the Online Service Accounts.
Is it possible to have 2 gmail accounts? for ex: i have a gmail personal account, and also a work account which i want to use my calendar as it tracks our days work. is this possible i cant see where is can set up a second one?
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy phone starting locking yesterday and on pressing the home putting brings up the message reactivating phone & brings up the Sony Ericsson start up screen. Then shoes "Emergency Nos Only". It won't receive texts but I am able to send them. Calls appear to be working ok other than I had a couple of missed calls yesterday which apparently rang once and then said phone is switched off. I have done a reset but it's still the same. I've also had a problem with apps appearing on the home screen without me putting them there - I had four digital clocks on it yesterday. Is this a software problem?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am having a difficulty getting texts on my x10. It is branded orange but is unlocked and "working" on three UK. I can surf the net on it (I added a APN) and send and receive calls again just not getting any texts. At one point I did and it was when 3 told me to reboot the phone to finish the process and after reboot hey presto! I can send texts on three and other SIMs work fine. Can't receive calls either, when you phone it is says the number is not recognized.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a question. The phone is set to vibrate when receiving SMS messages in the Messaging options. I only receive the audio notification and no vibration. I have also tried it with the program SMSPopup and its the same thing. I downloaded another one, SMSMorse, and it vibrates with this one, vibrating in mores code the message or the sender's name. The problem is that the mores code is long and it wastes the battery. I have sent a complaint to SE and they told me to take out the battery so it resets but no lock. The next thing they told me is to do a factory reset but I don't want to lose all of my settings and everything.
View 4 Replies View RelatedFirst of all, the problem might be only because I don't know how to set up my phone. It is my first smart / android phone. So please cut answers like "check settings or L2use your phone etc" I am trying to find an answer for the following issues:
1) My email client - default client pre-instaled is not working as expected, I set up incoming + outcoming servers correctly - confirmed by email provider as well as my operator. I can receive emails ( with 3hours automatical check I never got a single notification regarding new email ) but the problem is that I CANNOT SEND EMAILS, well I can, but they never arrive ! I have tried this several times and failed. Any tips on this one ?
2) Google Maps or any other map / navi application from market is working only when I am connected to Wi-Fi Is there any offline possibility ? like a downloadable offline map ? Also I am confused about my 3G connection is not working with this application...but more to 3G at point no. 3
3) 3G connection not working as expected - I can browse internet with it, acces my email or facebook through the browser. But when I try the facebook client pre-instaled it never connects, nor does meebo (icq), google maps or market. It says something similar to "connection timedout" or "server packet not connected". If it would be a case of wrong settings then it probably wouldn't browse the internet, would it? Otherwise I am happy with my first android phone, it has few bugs. But give me a perfect freshie on market
It seems that you can not delete all emails together - you have to delete them one by one - what a faff and time consuming!!! Beats me why they remove certain logical things on this phone, not being able to send a contact is another.

Also does not seem to receive any business cards sent to the phone from other phones. Please don't tell me that it can't do this.Another question: How does one send a text message (sms) to multiple recipients?And a last one: It appears that it does not keep any record of sent text messages, so one cannot go back and check which messages one sent - ridiculous!

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got the phone last week and very disappointed with low sound volume but seems I am not alone....anyway that's not my question.I am interested in how much my 3G connection is active and how much data my phone is receiving/sending. I installed the 3G Watchdog app and for example this morning with browsing BBC website with NO downloads etc it is showing 4.76MB data alone (3.96MB received and 838KB transmitted). My 3G connection is almost always flashing with the arrows showing data transfer but what is it?!

Email is synced hourly
Moxier calendar daily
I seem to have a "background" data transfer of 3MB/day and this is without any browsing etc...what is going on?!
Anyone worked out how to do that on this phone?

Does anyone knows how to select text or copy it from emails on the X10? I work a lot with emails but some of my contacts can only use SMS so I have to keep copying info from email to sms, wich with this very high tech wonderful phone that I am having fun with, seems to be somehow impossible?
