Anybody any idea why when I'm setting up the moxier mailer, it keeps loosing the data I provide and makes me start the procedure all over again. It's pain in the neck.

I just got this phone and think its amazing but for some reason i don't have any 3g network anymore i had it before i updated to 2.1 is there somewhere in the settings i should look?

Seems to be some confusion on this issue. Do you know if there is a way to get the X10 to act as a "modem" of sorts when tethered, so I can use my laptop in remote areas where there is no land line or WiFi access (but you can get a cell phone signal).

View 5 Replies View RelatedI got the phone last week and very disappointed with low sound volume but seems I am not alone....anyway that's not my question.I am interested in how much my 3G connection is active and how much data my phone is receiving/sending. I installed the 3G Watchdog app and for example this morning with browsing BBC website with NO downloads etc it is showing 4.76MB data alone (3.96MB received and 838KB transmitted). My 3G connection is almost always flashing with the arrows showing data transfer but what is it?!

Email is synced hourly
Moxier calendar daily
I seem to have a "background" data transfer of 3MB/day and this is without any browsing etc...what is going on?!
My internal phone memory is getting eaten up fast, how can I move the applications and make installations go directly to the SD card?

View 4 Replies View Relatedso hopefully this question/problem isn't as simple/dumb as my previous.I've somehow messed up my keyboard settings or language. the bottom right and bottom left buttons now have some Chinese/Japanese text on them and the bottom left button turns on some alternative keyboard options and changes my text output to Japanese.Now I presumed this was simply something in my language settings but I've set them back to UK and still no joy.I'm also using Handcent sms and the Handcent keyboard ui but that's not displaying either. Tried un-install/reinstall but no luck.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've had the X10 a week now, changed the keyboard to and from the stock Android keyboard when I first had it - but now I can't recall how to change it back again (I'm sure someone's been messing with the phone because i've not changed the keyboard in the past few days).
I've tried chaging in Setting > Locale and Text, but its clearly not there...
so im blasted pissed i lost all my pictures, and my setting for my ringtones. I didn't do nothing i just woke up and they were gone. I haven't done the update so i idk wt* happened
At first i thought it was my Sd card but it isn't because i didn't loose my apps. Now i know there's no way to recover my pictures, but i want to know if there is a way to get the phone to work recognize the folder i have so i can use my custom ringtones, alarms and notifications again.I tried the SDcard/audio/ringtones and etc because that's what i had last time and now it isn't work
I had been using the DATA TOGGLE widget for couple days, today strangely the widget was not functioning, it was not possible to turn on/off data. I tried uninstalling the app but still the problem persists.I tried switching off the phone, remove battery didn't work also tried the airplane mode on/off without luck also tried changing the ENABLE DATA in the settings no luck Cleare all current APN's and re installed the APN settings but still the problem persists?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWith the 2.1 upgrade, I have a little question about mobile network settings.I do not have 3G and do not have a monthly data plan. In 1.6, all I had to do was tick off "data roaming" in the Mobile Network Settings to make sure I do not ever connect to the 3G network.In 2.1, there are "Data Roaming" and "Data Traffic". If I were to tick off "Data Roaming", would that mean that the "Data Traffic" is no longer in use either, even if its ticked on? I do not want to tick off the "Data Traffic" option because it leaves a huge ugly picture on the notification bar.Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I do not want an abundance phone bill due to this!

I want the phone, but I want to make sure that ATT won't charge me randomly for data. So can I opt out of Data, or cancel data on the line if I get the phone. If I am at home using wifi does that use 250mb which I am allowed each month? I use face book and the auto update time scape thing. How much MB will that use? Will I only be able to use time scape with 3g or can I use 2g to get updates aswell?
