No problem for first few days of ownership but now when I try to send a text it does not seem to send. It shows a symbol of a closed envelope with a red L in a circle next to the text message that I tried to send. I'm having no problems receiving texts or with any other functions.

I am new to the moment and to the forum. When I get an email, there are 2 different symbols that show up in the top bar. One is the @ sign. and the other is an envelope. They both show my gmail, but with 2 different views. One is new emails, the other is new conversations. Does anyone know anything about why these both show up?

Then today it did it when I set it down on a table, and when I turned it back on the battery went from 42 to 12 percent. I then reset the phone and it was at 24 percent. Is anyone else having this problem? Could the battery just be losing contact?

I have my Facebook account synced and it shows the pictures under my call log, contacts, dialer, but does not show the contact pictures in my text messages? Anyone know how to fix this, it really annoys me seeing a bunch of empty picture slots when looking at my text message list.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHas anyone figured out how to do this? When I hold my finger on a text and choose forward, I only get the box where I have to type in each contact individually. Is there a way to show a list of my contacts when forwarding or at least a way to forward to a group? I have groups set up, but there doesnt seem to be a way to access them when forwarding. I have tried every option and every menu and cant find out how to do this on the Epic?

I don't think the message is received when the blue arrow appears.
So i just download a Paul frank theme to my epic and I'm a newbie with my samsung epic. i see that it's installed, but the actual theme isn't showing up on my phone.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI have read the previous threads, but still having no luck getting my Samsung Epic to show in My Computer. So I decided to post a new thread. After connecting the phone to my PC, I select Mount and turn on USB storage on the phone then windows shows "Found New Hardware" then asks me to install the new hardware. When I install the hardware, new device shows under "Other Devices" in Device Manager with a yellow icon (?) in front of it as if it is still unrecognized device. I am not allowed to install the drivers on my PC since it is a company PC. My coworkers did not have to install drivers to get the EPIC show in My Computer.

After uninstalling, I am now receiving two SMS notifications when I receive a text. One a white envelope, another a green bubble with "SMS" written in it. View 4 Replies View RelatedSo if I have the messaging app open and on screen I don't get a notification sound for the message that I just got sent I have looked into settings and nothing, so if I respond to a message and put the phone down and they respond I dont know unless the app is closed - or I assume the screen is turned off but never tried that. I got 9 text messages from someone and it was important that I respond quickly, well I did and then put the phone down, they texted back 1 min latter and then again 1 min after that and again 1 min after that 8 times, I never saw them until I looked at the screen and that was like 5-6 min latter - screen timeout is set to 2 min but after the text after 1 min it reset that timer and again and again so I never got the message until 5-6 min after it was sent resulting in messages like "hello?" "WTF" "answer" and so on.
