I was wondering if someone could post the "city" wallpaper that comes stock on the Captivate? Or, it may be easier if you could PM it to me. I looked everywhere and could not find it.

When I try to set a wallpaper from my own gallery, it only allows me to select a specific part of the picture. For example on the iphone I could resize the selection to fit the screen as much as I wanted. But the captivate sets a box and i cant make it bigger or smaller to select the entire wallpaper. and also doesn't matter how high res the picture is, it always looks blurry. Unlike the stock wallpapers, they look super sharp and clear. Anyone know what im doing wrong or how to fix it so i can choose to display an entire picture as my wallpaper rather than just a small portion?
View 4 Replies View Relatedi bought two samsung galaxy s and both have their own individual issues mine has the issue of turning off by itself which i found previous post about but the other one which im posting about consistently changes the background back to the default bubble blue live wallpaper, would anyone know if this is a app issue or a hardware issue with the phone becuase i wanna make sure i go back and exchange it, if thats the issue, if its something that can be fixed then please give me the solution because i really dont wanna exchange it and setup the phone all over again for my girlfriend.
View 3 Replies View Relatedi have been trying to figure out how to use an image for my wallpaper, but the crop box comes up over it everytime, and it forces me to crop the picture , which makes it fuzzy and incomplete. this also happens when adding an image to a contact. HELP? I have tried stretching the crop box as far as it will go, but that is only 50%at best. i also have tried NOT tapping anything on the screen other than save but it still crops it.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy captivate seems to keep freezing when doing things, most notably when I goto my downloads on the market, using Zedge to download a new wallpaper or using juiceplotter and just opening it, I get a black screen and it sits for a period of time approx a min or two...anyone else having these types of issues. I did do a factor reset this morning and also installed adw.launcher, but it still does it when using those programs and some others just can't remember which ones right off hand. thanks!!
View 1 Replies View RelatedIm using launcher pro. I only have one dock. When I set a wallpaper to my home screen it always stretches it out past the screen. Even if I use a wallpaper with the correct screen resolution(800 x 480), it still never displays correct on the screen. It seems to always "zoom in".Any idea?

View 2 Replies View RelatedThere's an update.zip for a port of the Galaxy-S live wallpapers here. That contains all the live wallpapers included on the international Galaxy-S. The only one missing from the Captivate is "Ocean Wave". Can someone more familiar with this sort of thing modify that zip to only include "Ocean Wave" as I don't want to risk my other Live Wallpapers. Or does anybody know a different way to get it on the Captivate? (I tried using ADB to just install the .apk for Ocean Wave, and got a force close when I ran it, so that was no good.)

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have used the stock email app, and setup four email accounts on my Samsung Captivate. For what is now the second time, I had my email where I can view titles, it updates to show me new email titles, and I can even delete emails. My issue is that I have gotten into the mode where the email app dies when I try to view an individual email. Both AT&T and Samsung support has been the scripted delete an account then try to remake the account. no difference? Well then let's reset the phone.. Now at the second time this has occurred, I am starting to get frustrated with the phone (I really do love the phone otherwise).
The first time it happened, I first had all of my accounts wiped out. After reinputting them, it took a day for the crashes to happen. After resetting the phone and redownloading most of my apps, it took three days for it to start crashing again. The only "out of the ordinary" thing I did the second time was update four pieces of software ("Google Maps", "Dominoes", "Buffaloian", and one other one I cannot remember). The next morning, my mail crashing restarted again.
I did the one click lag fix and have to return my phone but it won't unroot properly and am stuck with the superuser skull and cross bones app on my phone?
