I have a Buffalo Linkstation network attached storage device attached to my wireless router.What do I have to do to access the files on the Linkstation via my wifi connection.Or is it even possible?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm having an issue with using my Eris while connected to my home wifi network. The problem is that after I successfully connect to my network, I am unable to browse the internet, access the Market, or use any music apps which require internet access. I have verified that my phone is capable of doing all of this while connected to an unsecured wifi network, however, my network is secured. I'm not sure if that's what the issue is.A little bit of info about my home network - I have a Motorola SBG900 cable modem w/built-in wireless access. I have it setup for b/g network, WPA/PSK, etc. The strange thing about this is that I have two laptops, & my iPad setup on the same wireless network and all of them are able to access the network with no issues.

There have been several days where I wake up, check email on wifi, then head out and turn off wifi and then get no network signal.It shows bars but doesn't show the little 3g symbol with the arrows lighting up.Any help would be much appreciated!

I have an AT&T Captivate and it has been working fine until yesterday. All of a sudden I can't connect to the internet and no 3G icon. I have restarted the phone, pulled the battery,put my sim card in my brothers captivate and it works fine on his. After the phone restarts the 3G icon will appear for maybe 1 minute and I connect for that short time then it disappears and no more 3G. If I switch to wifi I can connect just fine.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the Samsung captivate and it usually has no problems connecting to WiFi networks but it can't connect to my home network. It recognizes the network but I can't use send/receive any data. My two laptops have no problem connecting to my network but I can't get my phone to. Additionally, my Wii has the same problem. It recognizes the network but can't do anything. Its probably a router problem but their support was useless, so I thought I would try here.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I got my Captivate this weekend, and have been using it on my WiFi at the apartment and everything is working fine. But today I went to work, and now any webpage I try to access just shows up as a blank white page with the words "Access Forbidden". Other apps work just fine, I just can't visit any webpages. I'm definitely connected to 3G, with a strong signal strength. I read in one thread that clearing APN proxy settings solved this problem for them, but I can't find any way to edit the APN settings on my phone (can only view them). I read another thread that this happens to people who switch over from an IPhone; only problem is, I've never owned an IPhone. I'm contemplating giving AT&T customer support a call, but wanted to check here first to see if anyone else is having this problem/has a fix. Here are my APN settings in case this clears anything up:

Port: 80
Username: Not Set
Password: Not Set

These are the default phone settings and it won't let me change any of them, although it will let me create a new APN and edit the settings of that. It seems odd that the default APN is Cingular...that is the service I had years ago, but it merged with AT&T a while back.
I may have missed it but is there an easy way to clear the software update error message. DM initialization is not ready. Check network or SIM card without doing a factory reset?

It connects easily but when I go to either browser or opera mobile it doesn't load the login page the browser still thinks it has no connection. Is there anyway to approach this in a better way or bypass the login or at least save it to automatically do it each time.I need a wifi connection! every building has it. annoying this is once you move to a different building the settings are changed(probably because of the routers) and I have to redo it. of course it never works

This network requires a certificate to be installed on machine. As of now they have support for Windows PCs, MACs and iPhones. Is there any way I can access this wireless network through my Android based phone?

I'm sorry if there have been numerous posts about this but i couldnt find one with my specific problem.I tried connecting my galaxy s to Kies for the first time ever. I just installed Kies but whenever i connect my phone Kies tells me "This Device Is Not Supported By Kies" I've restarted my Phone and Computer. I've tried running it in USB Debugging mode and got nothing. Its extremely frustrating.if you have any questions about my problem feel free to ask and I'll gladly answer.

Doesn't make for a great first impression when trying to transfer over some music from iTunes via DoubleTwist. Anyone else able to get their Captivate to mount on their mac? Worked great! Simple, and not much to it. I have the Superuser Permissions app in my app list.This morning I installed the android sdk and the drivers from the samsung website, enabled usb debugging on my phone, connected the phone, and did the following in my cmd prompt:.C:android-sdk-windows yes, that is the correct location of the android sdk folder) but all i'm getting is 'error: device not found'. I tried uninstalling my drivers and doing it again, this time connected to a different USB port, and still the same thing. Anyone have any insights? I'm able to successfully connect my phone to my machine and view it like a storage device (drag folders around, etc)

i just got my second captivate, the first would never connect to my computer the second one (the one i have right now) connects to my laptop but my computer wont recognize the device, bottom line is that i cant connect it to my computer. I have tried so many things like: "mount and unmount" the SD card and the internal memory, also i have tried the USB debugging, i hava also tried the kies option on the phone, and nothing.. i have all the Samsung USB Drivers (version V.1.3.450.0) i have downloaded the kies program and the kies mini and they haven't work... what am i missing??? can anyone help me? (my laptop is a Toshiba Satellite A135-4527 with windows vista)

Does anyone know if we can automatically link to a Bluetooth device once you enable Bluetooth? It's lame to turn Bluetooth "on" with the power widget but have to go to the bluetooth settings to actually link to a device.
