View 10 RepliesI've seen positive reviews on the dual mic noise cancellation of the nexus one. However, what I haven't seen addressed is whether than noise cancellation is bypassed when using a bluetooth headset? It would be cool if the nexus one provided the same noise cancellation when using a bluetooth headset, but I kinda doubt it. Anyone know for sure?
View 4 Replies View RelatedWas reading a review at AnandTech and it says: On the left are the volume rocker button and a port for the secondary microphone for noise cancellation. You can follow that port inside to a small chamber where the microphone is. There aren't any markers on the volume rocker - then again up and down are pretty obvious. The volume rocker is also a multipurpose zoom control in the browser and camera application, which is probably part of why it's left unmarked. Here is the link if you wanna check it out. View 10 Replies View RelatedI could swear I had de-selected a "noise cancellation" option in a menue somewhere in an effort to get my Droid to sound better during calls, but i can't for my life find it. (-Was I tripping?) Since then, I've removed my cheap-ass made-by-not-Motorola case after realizing (via this forum) that it was covering up the exterior microphone. Calls still sound like crap to me, but at least people can hear me better, I think. Anyway, if there's the noise cancellation opt and I wasn't dreaming or severely confused, can someone point me in the direction of that?

View 4 Replies View Relatedrecently I have received a Galaxy Nexus from A sibling because it had a defective charge port. I had replaced it (which included a new mic). I noticed my mic didn't work with phone calls (I understand that people were experiencing a muted effect, I cannot even hear a muffled sound. just fuzzy background recording) as well as with certain apps like snapchat. however with certain apps and features such as Smart Voice Recorder, and Text-to-speech feature, it functioned perfectly with clear recording. I have plugged in a external mic, as well as a two individual headsets with mic feature, and the same problem persist. I have even gone as far as to download the Soundabout app which allows me to decide what my primary recording device is, and still no resolve.

Was quickly reading a review of the Desire and read it has touch-to-focus. Was just wondering if anyone who is actually running the modaco desire ROM on their N1 can confirm whether this works? I'd also be interested to know if I could just use the desire camera app on a rooted N1 with Cynanogen? I'm rather partial to the stock appearance and not massively inclined towards Sense UI.

Should I port my number to my new provider and then return the phone to RS or should I call Sprint first? I am within the 30 days return stuff. I'm confused.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI have a question about the noise cancellation on different ROMS - basically, I tested it after I rooted and went to Rubix focused (the latest one) and the feature is gone. I have looked and looked and really don't see anything about it. The test: I used my television volume numbers, watching the same section of the same movie sitting in the same spot talking into my work voicemail reading the same script while calling out the TV volume numbers.
Before root, I could go up to 20 before hearing muffled background noise (20 on my TV is unbearably loud, I usually watch TV around 13 or 14). After the root and RubiX Focused, I can clearly understand what is being said on the movie with the volume level at 12. Does anyone know anything about this? I'm wondering if the blur dialer app is what runs the mics and whatever that RubiX dialer is doesn't know to run them.. dunno. But it is very clearly not working now. Have you seen anything anywhere? Has anyone else tested before and after root? This is the key feature to the phone for me since I am constantly on the phone with clients.
For some reason I'm unable to send mms but i can receive it just fine. I tried changing the apn settings to wap.voicestream.com and internet2.voicestream.com but nothing works.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought the Nexus One unlocked for AT&T and really like it. 1 wierd thing is that when I rotate the phone counter clockwise, the screen goes to landscape just fine; but when I rotate it clockwise it does not go to landscape "the other way". And, if I'm holding the phone 'normally' and rotate it 180 degrees ('upside down') it doesn't follow. My youngest daughter delights in telling me that her iPhone does this with no problem. What's up with that?
View 7 Replies View RelatedA couple of weeks ago I uploaded one of App which happens to be a widget. But from the time I uploaded it I have seen lots of cancellation. The only reason google gives me is this: You canceled this order. Reason: Other (describe below) Message sent to customer: Cancellation requested from phone.
I cant get heads or tail of it. What should I understand from this? There are no feedback, neither any ratings. Who is "YOU" here? I suppose this is not a programming question but this has raised after a lot of programming. Did anyone else also get something like this from Google and know what it exactly means?
Has anyone tried the cancellation method for getting an alternate android phone from tmobile?(you know, when you say, I'm sooo upset with my phone that I'm going to cancel my phone service, and they say "Is there anything we can do to make it better" and we say, "Yes, get me another android phone", and they say, "OK")

View 1 Replies View RelatedGot a nexus one and on it is Android 2.1 I believe?I plug my car's headphone style cable into the phone all the time to listen to internet radio and even the internal mp3's on it every once in a while. The problem is the phone's music player starts all the time on its own and plays random music OVER whatever internet radio app I may be using. Its so annoying and I can't figure out how to make it stop.Out of no where listening to iHeartRadio, or DroidLive, the Mp3 native music players starts and plays.I've read people saying use the drop down (notification) to go into the app, and hit pause, then the phone's back button to get out and that that particular order will stop it.Even if its instructions on how to delete the native music app and a suggestion for another 3rd party music app anything just HAVE to get rid of this auto play thing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung Galaxy Nexus currently. I also subscribe to Googles new streaming music. I have been trying to figure out how to play the songs in my car. We have a 2012 Chevy Cruze.
I have always been able to play music by putting the actual songs in the music folder.
I thought maybe if I used the function that puts the songs on the phone I would be able to search them up that way, but no dice.
Any workaround or a way that I can use the music off of the new streaming service in my car?
I have recently got a Nexus 7 and I was looking for an app that could sync my music between it, my Galaxy Nexus, PC and preferably also Macbook. I know I can use doubleTwist for this however I really like PowerAmp and would like to keep it as my music player. Is there any program I can use to achieve this (preferably with WiFi sync ?)
