When i tap or shake the phone lightly, i hear some kind of noise, feel like something got lose from the camera area, back of the phone, anyone has the same problem? is it normal?

I have just recently noticed than when I use my desire there is a click/tick from the camera lens area. It happens about 5 seconds after I turn the camera on and when I move the camera around the room.
Does anyone know what this could be.
this is normal or my replaced phone is another defective one.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI don't know if any of you guys are having this problem, but i hear a really annoying rattle around the camera area of the phone. every time i set my phone down somewhere i hear a rattle, and it is very annoying. i wanted to know where it was coming from so i shook the phone next to my ear, it is definitely coming from the camera area. anyone else having this problem? is there an easy fix?

However, what I haven't seen addressed is whether than noise cancellation is bypassed when using a bluetooth headset? It would be cool if the nexus one provided the same noise cancellation when using a bluetooth headset, but I kinda doubt it. Anyone know for sure?

View 1 Replies View Relatedjust wondering if this is normal or not, someone told me it is normal for the droid.for instance - when your on the home screen and you hold the camera button down, it'll make about 3-clicks when starting up. it also makes the clicking noise when it is focusing before taking the photo. the most noticable is when using an app like shopsavvy or barcode scanner are these apps supposed to be focusing back and forth non stop? and if so, is it 'normal' for that clicking noise to go non-stop while it is focusing back and forth?

It seems to have started since I did the software update but I did also drop the phone last night. The camera is working fine and I am not really that worried, I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if it was anything to start worrying about?

I'm getting great pictures outdoors but my pictures taken inside have a lot of noise (don't know if that's the term I want but they look fuzzy). I literally know nothing about cameras so I'm pretty hopeless figuring out this problem. And maybe some other camera noobs can get some good ideas from this thread too

After I take a picture and press the 'Home' button to exit the application, it makes the noise, which sounds like there's something loose or something. I'm just wondering if anyone's had this problem, and if it's actually anything to worry about. Also, the slider part of the phone is loose at the bottom, so when I push the buttons I'm actually pushing the screen down onto the keyboard, which is annoying. Is there any way to fix it? Also, I'm thinking that may be the reason for the clicking noise.

Is it solved on 2.0??? I realy need the high resolution image (3MP).
In the Camera app there used to be a bracket that showed where the focus of the picture is going to be and I could move it around to choose where I want it to focus, but I no longer see that. It still autofocuses, but does not show the bracket at all. Any ideas on why this is?
View 2 Replies View RelatedWhen I first bought it, I was not happy with the features it was offering so I searched and found out about the CM7(Cyanogenmod 7) mod, and decided that I wanted to try out a modded phone. I've been using CM7 for a few years now and have just plain become unhappy with what they're putting out and decided that I finally wanted my phone back to being normal and rooted. I booted into my clockworkmod(after backing up all apps/data with TitaniumBackup pro & taking pics/vids/etc off through USB) and decided to wipe my sdcard and all other options that Clockworkmod offers. After doing that I realized I made a horrible mistake...every time I go to reboot my phone, it ends up back at the boot menu and at the top it says "Fastboot Mode - No boot or recovery IMG" how would I go about resetting my phone back to a normal OS without being able to transfer stuff onto it without it being booted and having a USB option.

Anyways when I put my phone down it makes a slight rattle, after inspecting closer I noticed that when I tap around the camera area it also makes a slight rattle. I have looked around and found that people are having the same problem with the Nexus one and Hero and apparently its the auto focus.
View 14 Replies View RelatedIm looking for sumthin that would when taking a picture, save a copy of it in the normal DCIM folder, BUT also save a copy in another subdirectory... so essentially ill have 2 of them. the current camera i take a picture, then have to go through my sd card with ES file explorer and copy/paste into the backup directory. ive heard good things about "my backup pro"... but what can i do wit hthis. if i used that app would it .zip folder all my media so i could essentially just take the zip off and put it onto the media hard drive in house.

I can generate an object-apace normal map already from my 3D modeler, but what I'm not completely clear on is whether or not the Normal coordinates array will be necessary any longer if implementing a 2nd texture unit for normal mapping, or will Lighting + Color Texture Combined with a Normal map via the DOT3_RGB option be all that is required?
EDIT - After researching DOT3 Lighting a bit further, I'm not sure if the answer given by ognian is correct. This page, [url] gives an example of it's usage and if you look at the "Rendering & Final Result" section bit of code, there is no normal array ClientState for Normal Arrays is never enabled.
I also found this post here,[url] which explains it well... but leads me to another question. In the comments, it's stated that instead of translation of normals, you translate light direction. I'm confused about this as if I have a game with a stationary wall... why would I move the light around just for one model? Hoping someone can give a good explanation of all of this...
right away I am doing an app for an festival, and I want to make a area map / area plan. I have got a picture (bigger then the screen) and I want to be able to move it up/down and to the left/right. View 4 Replies View RelatedThe display area of my SGS has been reduced there is now a black line (approximatively 1 millimeter thick) around the display now anything that should be displayed has been centered (a kind of)i have noticed that after press-holding the HOME BUTTON (to get to the task manager).even when the phone that black border is still there and it look like the screen has been pushed down the display is not now at the same level as the top-cover (or screen cover).I have used the factory reset but nothing has changed.My phone look horrible now.
