General :: Subway Surfers On Xolo Q1000 - Screen Zooms In And Out On Double Tap
Jul 14, 2013I have recently purchased Xolo Q1000 and i installed subway surfers. The game has a function to double tap for hover board. But when i double tap on the screen for the hoverboard the screen zooms in and out but I do not get a hover board.
My device is rooted but i have the original rom from the company.
The phone comes preinstalled with android 4.2.1
The double tap function has similar effect in the dialar screen as well
I presume it is a software glitch. Is there any fix for this.

Well I've had alot of people messaging me about converters for music, video, photos etc and I decided to just post up a thread for people to ask questions if they need to. Anyways, the best converter that I could reccomend, HANDS DOWN for any needs whether they be for your phone or not is the SUPERC converter which can be found here
With it you can convert virtually any media type into any other media type. For starters here are some steps...
1. Drag your file to be converted into the que.
2. Double click on it to bring up the detailed info.
3. Select the output you want from the drag down menu at the top left
4. Match up the info for the video and audio (if applicable) to the details you brought up about the clip. Yes this is a bit techy, but its really simple, just read and click on the buttons. If your framerate or bitrate doesnt match up, always pick the lower one. I.E: If you have a framrate of 96, and the options are 108 and 90, always pick the lowest of the two.
5. Just click convert! and wait until it gives you an output file size!
Yes it may seem a bit overwhelming at first, but its great to be able to convert anything into, well, anything. I use it for all my converting needs, and even if your not a techy person, even if you dont know what a bitrate is (shame on you! haha jk) its still a great program which is easy to use, whether you have circuit boards instead of brains or not.

Mar 5, 2009I have a list activity that creates a header row above the data rows from the adapter. I want to receive click events when the user selects the header or a data row (but my data rows have check boxes in them, so this part is tricky). When I use the touch screen, I get this expected behavior:
1. Tapping on any row causes a click event and a dialog appears.
2. Long-pressing on a data row causes a context menu to appear.
3. Long-pressing on the header row does *not* show the context menu.
However, when I use the arrow keys (emulator) or trackball (G1), I get this unexpected behavior:
1. Selecting any row fails to cause any click events, even though the row's appearance changes like it's being clicked.
2. Long-pressing on the header row *does* show the context menu, which I don't want.
3. Occasionally, it doesn't focus the correct row when I move up or down (e.g. it skips from the header to the last data row).
Motorola Droid :: Swype Double Tap / Capacitive Touch Screen
Apr 30, 2010Maybe I'm missing something but in the WinMo version of Swype theres an option to double a word that came out wrong and choose from a list of alternatives. That function doesn't seem to be included in the android one. I don't have nearly as many mistakes now with a capacitive touch screen as opposed to my old resistive, but I still get one every now and again and its easier to do that than place the cursor, backspace, and re-swype.

Feb 21, 2012Is there any way to make the browser or any browser to be able to double click a web page. My work website requires double click but double tapping obviously changes the focus in android. Yes, the work website is a joke but that's besides the point.
Someone was able to write a program for iphone to do this but they won't for android. They are fanbois so no dice.

Jun 6, 2010Right now, when I press the button on my headphones, the stock music app plays/pauses. Double-click dials voicemail, rather than skipping to the next song. Is there any way to fix this? I tried TuneWiki, which is nice, but it crashed on me a couple of times. It behaves properly, but I'd obviously like it to keep playing.I realize I might be nit-picking with this one, but I screwed up my shoulder and will be in a sling riding the metro to work tomorrow. I'd like to keep the music playing and be able to change tracks using my one good hand, especially since it's likely that I'll be standing up.

Oct 3, 2010I have suspected this on every ROM I have run (stock 2.1, all tranquility roms, and now rubix 0.3 (which I love except the single unexpected shutdown of the phone once).
My screen just doesn't turn off no matter what the settings/display/screen timeout is set to (30 sec, 1 min...)
I test it by turning on the phone, sliding to unlock and then staring at my homescreen with a stopwatch. It can be 5-10 minutes before it turns off.
I have interrogated with spareparts and the phone does have a high percentage of "running" from bluetooth and wifi, but isn't the screen supposed to shut off even with those background processes running??
I don't have anything special installed for power management, just stock stuff.
I went to the market and found some power managers but I don't have any confidence a third party app will solve this problem.

Aug 5, 2010When at the home screen and then moving two screens to the right I get to what looks to be some type of image player in the middle and it has the Media Share, Blockbuster, Camcorder, and Gallery at the bottom.
While playing around with the camera I just took some random photos of junk and have since deleted them. But now in the middle of the screen I still see what seems to be the last image I took. Yet the file isn't actually on the phone or card. The round button in the middle (with the square around the 'play' icon) is selected but red (when I touch it it turns green and used to scroll through the photos before I deleted them).
How do I get this ugly blurry test image out of this screen and back to the way it was before?

Jun 21, 2010Is there a way/setting/app capable of being able to "double click" on an Icon while browsing on the phone. The way the company sets up my work calender is when I want to see what the schedule is I have to double click to open it. On a regular browser double clicking is no problem but on the EVO all it does is zoom in.

Dec 11, 2009OK, so it was like Christmas morning when I picked up my phone at 6 AM and found an update request waiting for me! The process was smooth and quick although it took awhile after the update to resync something. I'm guessing the contacts were reupdating with Facebook in light of the new security measures that FB is taking with user's information. Anyway, so far I am OK with the obvious changes. I may have liked the old version better (i.e. the home screen layout) but if it had been like it is now all along, I doubt I would have cared. The one odd thing I noticed however is that suddenly I have two Google calendar app icons in my application tab. Both take me to the same place when launched. Anyone else seeing double? I'm not sure how to go about removing one of them or if I should even attempt to. It's not a HUGE problem, but it's like new dental work.

Sep 17, 2010So out of the blue today my hand cent starts getting 2 messages each time i get a text message. Even displays both of them in the bubbles. I've made sure hand cent is the default and of course I've disabled the stock message apps. But after I installed the new froyo update I have 2 txt msg stock apps. Messaging and Text Message. Anyone know what .apk to remove to get remove them and where those apks are... and the big thing... how to get the dang double messages to stop. It stinks because it makes me always have an icon on the notification bar saying I've got unanswered messages.
