i have a mytouch 3g and love the phone. the problem i have been having is that when i go to take a picture, there is no click any more. i have the sound turned up and it plays music and ringtones just fine, but it dosnt click on pictures.

My HTC Desire seems to have stopped singing the "tik tik" sound (the sound when you clicked on any program).
In Settings -> Sound Settings -> Feedback
I have them all checked, but for some odd reason, I still didn't get the sound.
Does any one know of any audio players with good sound or an equalizer for free or reasonable priced.

Speakers on my Motorola Cliq aren't great and at full volume the speakers pop because of the bass on some songs. Equalizer would be great so I can turn the bass down as the Cliqs speakers cant handle it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just got a HTC desire and like many people would like to be able to get rid of my iPod all together and have just my phone. The problem I'm having is that the media player on the HTC desire doesn't work nearly as well as iTunes. I have several issues that would needed to be resolved and wanted to know if anyone had a solution to any of them
1) Audio books, I have many of these on my iTunes and on an iPod they are displayed in a separate folder and are removed from shuffles, not so on the HTC, solution?
2) Podcasts, Again i subscribe to many podcasts on my iTunes and wanted to know if there was any way of adding them to my HTC automatically or having them download automatically (Despite this being very annoying and clogging up my hard drive with duplicated podcasts)
3)Playlists I am currently using iTunes agent to sync from my iTunes but it means that I cannot sync playlists that i can then play on my phone. (I can sync playlists just not then play them on their own once they are on my phone)
1. When I close out of the browser and come to it later, all of my previous tabs are still there. How can I set it up where when I re-open my browser, it starts out fresh and no previously opened tabs still there?
2. This is a big one for me and will delete it if I cannot get it to work. With the stock browser, it was easy sharing pics from the web with one click. With Dolphin, I cannot long hold a picture and hit "Share". There's just a View and Save option. So to send to someone, I have to save it, and then send it. Just extra steps I do not want to take and I do not want to pile up a bunch of un needed pics.
I expected the qwerty keyboard to have an audible click sound from the mic while typing. Ive read the manual and cant seem to find anything about this. As it is , the keyboard is silent while typing, is that normal?

When browsing certain web page with CGI form, browser doesnt respond to trackball click event unless we play around the UI ormove cursor around or switch between application. I want to receive click events when the user selects the header or a data row (but my data rows have check boxes in them, so this part is tricky). When I use the touch screen, I get this expected behavior:
1. Tapping on any row causes a click event and a dialog appears.
2. Long-pressing on a data row causes a context menu to appear.
3. Long-pressing on the header row does *not* show the context menu.
However, when I use the arrow keys (emulator) or trackball (G1), I get this unexpected behavior:
1. Selecting any row fails to cause any click events, even though the row's appearance changes like it's being clicked.
2. Long-pressing on the header row *does* show the context menu, which I don't want.
3. Occasionally, it doesn't focus the correct row when I move up or down (e.g. it skips from the header to the last data row).
Ive noticed when i either browse my files with Astro or use the phone as a disk drive and manage my files from my computer, all pictures no longer become viewable on the phone after re-mounting and all saved ringtones/notification sounds are removed from the phone. ive tested and re-tested both consistently. I can go into astro and find the pictures in the files. I can do the same on my computer. However, i cannot view the pictures through the gallery app.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI've now had and used my Samsung Moment for a full month now, and I have to say this is the best phone I have ever used.
I carry multiple smartphones on me, usually a Blackberry of some sort, Palm Treos / Centros, iPhone, and now my Samsung Moment. While all the smartphones are really good, the Samsung Moment has been really great.
Despite all the complaints you read here, I have only had a couple of minor annoyances:
1. The Google Calendar widget doesn't default to the current day when you click on it. I have accidentally entered appointments for "today" when I realize a bit later that it was on another day that I had scrolled to previously. I hope there will be a setting to always display the current day in the future.
2. I use Astrid to sync my to do list with Remember The Milk. Anytime I add a new task if I'm using the physical keyboard, and slide it shut and go to the portrait mode for the virtual keyboard, somehow my text is wiped clean and I have to start from scratch again.
The battery life is excellent. Based on my moderate use, I easily get 2-3 days out of my phone, which is as good as my Palm Centro or my Blackberries.So glad I have this phone, can't wait for future updates though to play with.
I synced my pictures from my palm pre onto my computer and now I am trying to get them over onto my EVO, how do i do that? I have the evo plugged into the computer and it is set to disk drive, now when i go into my computer what am i looking for?
