I am loving swype, especially since I only have one arm (the others in a cast). Is anyone else having issues with the word list not popping up when you double click on a word? This has never worked for me. I have the newest version.

Is there a way to access the list of all the words that were added to the keyboard's prediction in the phone? I have accidently added many words that I spelled incorrectly and need to remove them. How do I do this?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI had my physical keyboard open and I started to get word prediction at the bottom of the screen again. But I cant figure out how to get it every time the physical keyboard is open. Most of the time I get nothing but this is the second time I have seen this at the bottom. Anyone know what going on with this. There isn't a setting for it for built in keyboard settings page. I wish it would work all the time because it is a nice feature.

I was with family today at the T-Mobile store (They're all upgrading to the Samsung Vibrant today) and I was giving them all an intro to Swype on the demo. Now when I was doing this I noticed that Swype on the Vibrant had a feature I don't seem to have on my EVO. Basically while you're swyping, say you swype a word wrong right? On the Vibrant you double tap the incorrect word and it brings up a correct suggestion list. My Swype doesn't do this. Anybody know if this is an option somewhere, or what I'm missing here?

After updating to 2.1 I´m having some trouble with the SE text messaging program!
Before it was easy to highlight a typed word, double tap on the word, and then respell it or change the capitols. Now it´s very difficult to make that action happen and I find it easier just deleting the word and spell it again.
This is, for me anyway, less user-friendly than the 1.6 version! I´m hoping that this will be solved in future updates or if anyone of you experts out there have a solution. Changing to other programs as "handsent sms" is not a solution for me!
If a word doc is an attachment to an email, how do I view it? I see the attachment is there, but don't know how to open it for viewing.

Also, the green/amber light doesn't come on when I'm charging my phone. In 1.6 SDK I made the InputType = VisiblePassword and that seemed to stop it, however this does not appear to work in the 2.1 SDK.

I am now using a Droid Incredible after getting rid of a Windows Mobile devcie and I LOVE IT but the only thing I miss is
1) Being able to transfer Word Docs from my desktop onto my phone and use, read and edit them from my phone
2) Being able to create Documents in general, that I would normally use Word for.
Is there an application, widget or add-on that i can have where I can use the dialer as a text messaging option (ex. t9)?
