Motorola Droid :: Way To Customize Car Screen?
Oct 3, 2010So when i either put my droid in my car mount or i press the "car/home" app, my phone goes into car mode. here i have 2 screens to choose from. the first screen has 6 buttons all with applications in them, the second screen has 6 buttons but only 3 have applications in them. question is, is there a way to customize the other 3 buttons and pit an application in them or am i stuck staring at 3 empty buttons forever?

Jul 17, 2010Is there a way to set up favorites in launcher pro and customize them?I would like to have a widget, shortcuts or whatever in either a folder or on one of the screens for one touch dialing.Can't figure out how to do that in LP. Also, is there a way to customize these in any of the UI's?For example, unless you leave them so large that you can only get 4 per screen, you only get the first name of the contact.What I want to do is be able to make the print smaller and have first name, last name.I don't care about the photo. I want to set them up so they automatically dial the preferred phone number when I touch them, not bring up the contact where I now have to click on the task I want (call a certain number, text a certain number, email, etc.).Seems rather fundamental and common sense but after playing with it for quite some time and searching here, haven't come up with anything.

Motorola Droid : How To Customize LED Light Settings?
Nov 9, 2009Anybody know how to customize the LED light settings? I've managed to change the indicator light color for handcent sms, but I've had no luck digging through the menus for any other options. It seems that the light is capable of multiple colors. I'm thinking a cycle when the phone rings would be pretty cool. Any ideas?

Consequently, when the user clicks the Preference, I spin off an AsyncTask to do the work. In the meantime, I disable the Preference and replace the check box with an indeterminate ProgressBar. I have all of this working via a hack involving a subclass of CheckBoxPreference that overlays the ProgressBar on top of the CheckBox.
