HTC Desire : Folder Delete Pics When Reopen / How To Fix?
Sep 9, 2010so when i take pics of my cam they go in to the folder but then when i want to look at them again for some reason it deletes my pics. not every good as there were pics i needed in it there. anyone else had this problem and i have formated the sd card before people say to do this. dose anyone know of a fix for this or what i should do.

May 6, 2012First off, I maintain a Sidekick 4G ROM, and it's been pretty successful so far. But, the default Launcher in system/app is launcher2.apk and it works no mistake about it. But I want to change this launcher to FTL (Faster Than Light) because it performs a lot better for the scenario I'm in. However, I remove the launcher2.apk, and include the FTL.apk, and after flashing I'm left without a launcher, even renaming the FTL.apk to launcher2.apk doesn't work. I even went into META-INF folder and changed the name lowveld to CERT (like it is in most launchers)

I've already deleted this picture from the Download folder, but anytime I download a new picture attachment, it still uses the 'unwanted' pic as the folder preview.I've even tried manually deleting the Download folder using AstroFile Manager.Everything I've tried doesn't seem to work.I desperately need help because currently I'm not able to download any picture from my Gmail account without that stupid picture showing up as the preview for the Download folder.

Jun 30, 2012After doing a phone reset back to stock, (Galaxy Nexus 4.0.4) I copied back all my previous saved items from the "Downloads" folder (I had copied the Downloads folder to my PC) and copied them back to the phone.
Now when I open the "Downloads" app it doesn't show anything there. I had documents, pdfs, jpeg, etc.
NEW downloads from market, etc do appear, but nothing else. How do I get the system to refresh the contents of that folder? I've tried Settings, Media, Clear, but that doesn't do anything.
It's almost as if the phone recognizes timestamps of the day of the refresh, but anything earlier is not recognized.

Aug 21, 2010I created two new folders in the home, then attempted to "drag" one folder into the other.. but it wont let me... is it possible? also, when creating a folder in the home, i tried using astro file manager to find that folder I made but couldn't find it... where is it? or is there another way to create a folder in the SD card?
