After 5 days of perfection, my gmail won't push anymore. Everything is set to sync so, I turned off sync, turned it on again, then it pushes, but won't after that. (it's been 24 hrs now)

New mail is ending up in the all mail folder not sure how to fix this so mail is pushed to my inbox and I get new mail notifications.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm noticing that when I get a message on my phone and opening it to mark as read, it isn't updating my gmail account online, at least not in a very timely fashion. The message just stays bolded as unread. I even tried refreshing my inbox by clicking on 'Mail' in gmail, and it still showed as unread.

On 2.1, the second I got an email, it showed up in my Gmail inbox (no notification, but that wasn't a big deal, i just manually checked it) anyway, now its not doing that, and I have to manually refresh Gmail, which is annoying. Anyone else having this issue? Anyone know how to get around it?
View 16 Replies View RelatedYesterday I noticed that my emails from my phone were not getting sent.Today I noticed I had a bunch in my outbox that said sending.I have the sync turned on and all my other Google apps sync (Calendar, Picasa, Contacts) but gmail never updates.I can't force it to send and receive either.And I can't remove my account to set it up again without doing a factory reset.Any ideas why just my gmail is not syncing anymore?BTW I tried to uncheck all sync options turn off phone and back on then check them again without any luck.
View 5 Replies View RelatedSo My evo has been running pretty damn good. Then this evening I realized that I have not received any e-mails pushed to my gmail app on my phone. So I just figured nobody e-mailed me today, which is weird. So I just went to my gmail account on my laptop and I have 14 unread e-mails that were sent to my gmail account today. So I went to my gmail app on my phone and clicked refresh and the e-mails did not show up on my phone. Its like its not even recognizing my gmail. Any help. I powered down and turned it back up and still nothing. Usually powering down then back up helps little issues like this. what gives.

I never had this problem before with gmail even with "Always On Mobile Data" disabled, but now it seems like the as soon as the 3G radio goes to sleep, I don't get anything until it wakes back up. View 4 Replies View RelatedEver since putting a Froyo ROM on my Incredible, I've not been able to get my secondary gmail account to function properly. No automatic syncing from the phone to the cloud. I sometimes will get message pushed out to the phone but not all the time.
I've seen reports that a official OTA for the Evo came out last night that has fixed this gmail problem for them. So I'm wondering if it is possible for someone to get the gmail application off of the OTA release and then allow it to be installed on an Incredible running some version of Froyo.
I haven't messed with my settings on my phone about data delivery. Somehow my gmail wont push my mail through, i have to manually refresh it.
Background data is on
Data Roaming is off
Data enabled is on
All my accounts are synced
Notification is on.
I did a reboot just to see and it still didnt fix. is there anyway to fix this?
Has anyone else experienced this since MR2? I would receive alerts to new gmails instantly before MR2, and now I'm lucky if I even get them at all without going into the app and hitting refresh. I checked all my settings and it does appear to be set to automatically sync.

In Gmail, you can respond to emails as if it was coming from the business email (server). This was a simple sync I had with Blackberry emails. However, I'm finding difficulties setting up the same thing for my new HTC Incredible (Verizon provider).
View 8 Replies View RelatedThis is driving me nuts because I had the hero and swapped it out to the Moment and it did the same thing. I am using the Gmail app and whenever I get new mail I have to go into the ALL MAIL label to see it even though the mail has a Inbox tag on it. By doing this I don't get any notifications of new mail and must check it manually. I've tried clearing out Gmail app and Gmail storage but it will only sync once and stop again. So anyone having the same problem? Gmail not pushing mail into the in-box? I posted on Google help forums but so far people only told me to clear data of the applications.

Before going through the circus of asking someone in IT at my office if there is a problem I figured I would ask for suggestions here.

Include File Attachment: Never
Mail Size Limit: Entire email
Not the default Account
My Gmail App has stopped automatically notifying me of new emails. I can manually sync and get the emails but not automatically.I think I may have accidentally stopped a running service that has caused Gmail to stop automatically syncing my emails. My calendar and contacts automatically sync just not email.I'm thinking my only option is to reset back to factory settings.
