I think i turned it off accidentally, when i unlock my phone, i don't get any of the sun animations or raining animation or clouds, ect... how do i turn this back on?

When turning it off, it would alert you it would be turning back on at your alarm time to wake you and would do exactly that. Stock app doesn't do that. I've searched and gone through market apps descriptions looking for this function. At the least I want the alarm to go off when the phones turned off. I don't need it to notify me when its turning on, when its shutting down.

I would like to get the htc hd2 weather widget (with clock and animation) on my xperia x10.
how is this possible? I've been on the net for the past 2 hours but cannot seem to find anything.
So I use the task killer...and at the moment say when I kill tasks it'll tell me there is about 200M avaliable memory free...if I use the phone for a day it'll maybe go down to 150M even if I am still killing apps and there is nothing in 'running services'. If i turn off the phone and turn it back on it goes up to 250M. What is running that I can't stop myself to make it go down from the 250M but that I can just eliminate by turning off the phone?

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt's hard to say when this happened but I guess I noticed it after the OTA update (not saying that is the reason, just when I noticed it). The weather animations when you turn the screen back on seem different from before. The demo animations aren't the same either, lightning used to cause white flashes, cold used to gradually build up, rain effects lasted longer (I don't even remember fog).
Am I missing a setting change? Was it always this way and my memory just sucks (very possible)? Did it actually change?
So if you have your weather set to sync every hour or whatever. and you have 3g turn off, does it drain your battery cos its trying to syn and it cant cos 3g is off and i shuold change that setting, or does it just not sync?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI can attest to the fact that this works. It even brings the little red x's back. Looks like new. I just tried it on my wife's LG Env3. She washed it a few months back and both stickers (on the battery and the phone) were completely red. Did the rice/oven trick and all was well, no problems whatsoever. Well lately she's been having some battery problems ,her phone has been shutting off randomly at times as if the battery is loosing connection with the phone. No corrosion issues from the wash, I honestly think this issue is unrelated. Well, it turns out that there was a problem with the Env3's battery/connection design and the Verizon rep. was happy to send her out a replacement phone right away. Even when I have the widget activated for 4G there are many times it doesn't come in at all in a prime 4G area. When I turn my phone off and back on it starts to work again. What gives?

Anybody know what is causing this and how it can be stopped?
Since the 2.2 update if I leave Wifi enabled and leave the connection area, 3G does not turn back on and I'm left with no data connection at all. Only way I can fix it is to restart the phone.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought an HTC First a few weeks ago ( I think lol) and love it so far. So earlier today at school I was on my phone, and nothing was wrong. I put it in my pocket and about 20 minutes later I pulled it back out and it was dead. Odd, because it was almost full before. So I thought, whatever I'll charge it at home. So after school I put it on charge and the red light wasn't blinking. I gave it around 30 minutes and still nothing. It's been a few hours and still, it isn't charging or turning on. I tried holding power/vol+/vol- for more than 2 minutes. I have warranty but HTC said if I send it in I'll be forced to pay to replace the screen too, which has a TINY crack on the corner .

Anyway a question if anyone can answer, why doesn't the weather animation constantly play/scroll, it only does it once when you turn on, up to now(this week) its been sunny/cloudy so only seen the clouds scroll across the screen once but you don't see them again. My brother has an HTC but i don't know which one apart from its a Windows OS not android and his constantly scrolls. Is the android OS different than the Windows or do i need to activate something in the menus?
View 6 Replies View RelatedMy friend had an HTC Desire HD and it impressed me so much i actually wanted to but it off him, even though its about 2x worse in specs than my current phone, but it has the most beautiful user interface i've ever seen.I'm talking about the HTC DHD weather unlock animation.I first noticed it when i asked the friend to make a call and upon unlocking the phone the screen froze over and it started to snow, it was pretty amazed by how good it looked, and how accurate it was since it was really snowing outside.Here it is. I think this is one of the best looking widgets/launchers i've ever seen, and i have a question, not as much as a request.I do know that this is "exclusive" to sense, most likely 3.0, but would it be theoretically possible to rip out the launcher/weather widget you saw in the video? I'm currently using a SONY Xperia GO , and i would like to port the needed things to it from sense (3.0?) to it. How do i do it? i've downloaded 20+ widgets/apps from the play store and didn't find anything ever NEAR as beautiful, or as functional. Most of the apps/widgets require you to click on the widget to see a weather animation, thats not what i want.
How do i port the sense (3.0?) launcher/weather widget? Is there an app that is as functional and looks similar?
What i did but now my phone makes an annoying type writing sound when i text. I looked though everything and cant find what turns it off. And also the spell check when u type is off too how do i turn that back on?
