Samsung Moment :: Phone Shut Itself Off Randomly Now Not Turn Back On
Oct 9, 2010For a few weeks, my phone has been shutting itself off randomly for no apparent reason. I remove the battery, pop it back in, and it powers up normally. It's off now, I've removed the battery (for about 10 - 15 seconds) and it still won't turn back on.

Samsung Moment :: Shut Off And Won't Turn Back On?
Dec 5, 2009I just traded my Palm Pre for a Samsung Moment today (made the deal off of Craigs List). The phone worked great all afternoon after I got it but 30 minutes ago I pulled it out to enter something into my calendar and it was off. I tried to turn it on but it seems dead.The battery has at least 40% remaining last time I looked and it is charging right now just in case. Anybody else have this happen? Is there some special way to turn this on that I don't know about? I held down the hang up button to turn it on and it is not working.Any ideas? (The Sprint rep at the store where I swapped with the other person said the warranty sticks to where ever the ESID is active - meaning on my account so I do have the warranty for it).

Jul 7, 2010I am not sure how this is happening, however, my customer ringtone frequently changes to some other short stock ringtone. I discovered that if I shut the Inc off and turn it back on, my custom ringtone returns.
Anybody know what is causing this and how it can be stopped?
Sprint HTC Hero : Turn Xml File Back Into Text Messages?
Sep 17, 2010So the charging port broke on my old hero, and i got a replacement. And i downloaded sms backup to take all my texts and turn them into an xml file on the sd card. On the new hero, i downloaded the same program but it does not seem to want to restore the texts back.
Any ideas on how to take that XML file and turn them back into text messages?
HTC Desire :: Memory - Turn Off Phone And Turn It Back On It Goes Up To 250M
Jun 26, 2010So I use the task killer...and at the moment say when I kill tasks it'll tell me there is about 200M avaliable memory free...if I use the phone for a day it'll maybe go down to 150M even if I am still killing apps and there is nothing in 'running services'. If i turn off the phone and turn it back on it goes up to 250M. What is running that I can't stop myself to make it go down from the 250M but that I can just eliminate by turning off the phone?

May 7, 2010I have checked my hotmail messages through the phone and deleted messages, however when I log into hotmail on my computer the deleted messages are still showing in my inbox as new messages.How do you get it so that if they are deleted from hotmail on your phone they are gone for good with no need to delete them again once logged in elsewhere.

Aug 20, 2013I deleted (accidentally) some system files, and then nothing happened, but i hit the restore or backup from setting and it went fine untill the loading screen, i mean it shut down then the first loading image fine and the next one doesn't load my system.. Nov 7, 2009Had a problem with my alarm clock this morning. It went off @ one of the alarm times I have (although I could swear it wasn't checked to be on for today). But then I could not shut it off. Tried hitting nearly ever button both physical and virtual and the damned alarm wouldn't stop. I eventually just shut it off and turned it back on and that did the trick. Did I miss a step in how to turn alarm off?

Jun 14, 2010I was sending a text using the shapewriter keyboard and was trying to put it to landscape mode when it wouldn't react...i was trying to press back and the phone wouldn't respond and then all of a sudden it just restarted on me...on top of that once the phone restarted I was trying to turn on 4G but I couldn't even get the option to be available...it looked as though it was blacked out while I had no problem turning on everything else...here is a screenshot...
I had to restart the phone in order for 4G to become available again...since then shapewriter has constantly "force close" on me...I don't know if that is the issue since I just installed it today Should I take the phone back because it just randomly restarted on me and the 4G wouldn't work? Anyone else have this happen to them?

Sep 23, 2010When the leak came out I installed it and was running up until last week I never had one issue period I loved it loved the new features and loved the increase in speed. Last week I sbf back to 2.1 thinking how much better they could have made it over the last 40 days (boy was I wrong) I have had to do no less then 3 batt pulls because my phone has froze completly. touch screen out 3 times. Open the camera it closes down right away among other issues. I have had my ringer go so quiet on its own that I could not hear it then check the volume and its all the way up WTF moto you screwed the pooch on this one wow.

Nov 18, 2013I bought an HTC First a few weeks ago ( I think lol) and love it so far. So earlier today at school I was on my phone, and nothing was wrong. I put it in my pocket and about 20 minutes later I pulled it back out and it was dead. Odd, because it was almost full before. So I thought, whatever I'll charge it at home. So after school I put it on charge and the red light wasn't blinking. I gave it around 30 minutes and still nothing. It's been a few hours and still, it isn't charging or turning on. I tried holding power/vol+/vol- for more than 2 minutes. I have warranty but HTC said if I send it in I'll be forced to pay to replace the screen too, which has a TINY crack on the corner .

HTC Incredible :: Phone Turn Back On At Alarm Time Alert
Jun 21, 2010Only thing I can think of that I miss on my storm. When turning it off, it would alert you it would be turning back on at your alarm time to wake you and would do exactly that. Stock app doesn't do that. I've searched and gone through market apps descriptions looking for this function. At the least I want the alarm to go off when the phones turned off. I don't need it to notify me when its turning on, when its shutting down.
