What i did but now my phone makes an annoying type writing sound when i text. I looked though everything and cant find what turns it off. And also the spell check when u type is off too how do i turn that back on?

So the charging port broke on my old hero, and i got a replacement. And i downloaded sms backup to take all my texts and turn them into an xml file on the sd card. On the new hero, i downloaded the same program but it does not seem to want to restore the texts back.
Any ideas on how to take that XML file and turn them back into text messages?
I'm listening to Pandora and I go to my home page. If I rotate the phone, or even set it on my desk, the phone makes an annoying sound that interrupts my music. I turned off system sounds and I still get the noise. Any ideas on what I can do to get rid of that annoying noise.

View 10 Replies View RelatedSo I use the task killer...and at the moment say when I kill tasks it'll tell me there is about 200M avaliable memory free...if I use the phone for a day it'll maybe go down to 150M even if I am still killing apps and there is nothing in 'running services'. If i turn off the phone and turn it back on it goes up to 250M. What is running that I can't stop myself to make it go down from the 250M but that I can just eliminate by turning off the phone?

Also a tip, although it tells you you cannot use over wifi I find it works fine if you disconect the wifi whilst signing in and then reconnect the wifi.

I like the auto correct of the evo, however the suggested words that pop up really distract me and slow me down. When I shut this option off, though, I can't seem to find any way to spell check or auto correct any words in texts, etc. Is there a way to keep the auto correct feature, but hide all the suggestions?
