I was wondering if there is an option to setup "auto answer" (like if my phone is connected to my car via bluetooth) for incoming calls. My old phone (LG Dare) had an option to auto-answer the call after the second call, not sure if there's an option for this (I tried looking under advanced bluetooth settings).

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy manager has just bought himself a new Xperia X10 and he has setup the bluetooth connection, however when its paired to the laptop and a call comes in the laptop automatically answers the phone for him, so he has to switch the bluetooth off on his laptop until he needs it. Is there an option either on the laptop (Win XP SP3) or on the phone to stop this happening, the only features he really needs are file transfer and to use it as a modem.

no headset plugged in just act as normal. Hopefully I am just missing something obvious as I can see the option to enable auto answer but this seems to be regardless of weather or not there is a headset plugged in. If this is not possible is there a a way to shortcut the enable and disabling of auto answer rather than having to go through all the menus?
All incoming phone calls are being automatically answered. I went to Settings>Language and Input; however, I don't see the Voice CMD for Apps option. I also want to note that this is not voice activated answering - it is just auto answering. I am not using a headset and the option for auto answering with a headset is off.

I do not lose the call but it is no longer hands free. I do not mind the fact I cant set up auto answering, but its useless if I cant receive hands free incoming calls.

I was almost shocked to see that they STILL haven't added the 'auto fit messages' option like Gmail has. How can Android be so far along and still not have this extremely basic option? View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Fascinate that automatically populated my Gallery with the zillions of photo albums I've uploaded to Picasa. My boyfriend has a Droid X and I put my Picasa email/password in his Accounts thinking it'd just effortlessly autopopulate his gallery with my pictures too, but it didn't. I looked around on the internet and saw that you could download the older Gallery (the one that's like the one on my Fascinate), so I did, but again, there's no setting that I see to show my Picasa albums on there, there's no auto-populating, nothing.
Any ideas how I can make this happen without having to go into a separate application or on the web to see these? I looked it up on another site and it said settings can be found at "settings > accounts & sync" but the Droid only has Accounts listed, no Sync.
I have recently bought QMobile A8 phone which in "about phone" says ics 4.0.4 and has the notification swipe to close and long press home key and swipe to close background apps but in settings-> apps it does not show "all" button neither there is a way to disable apps. I installed advanced task killer and could find the disable button in few apps by force stop detail option in advanced task killer and disabled maps and few other. Now where to find them since I don't have the "all" button in settings-> apps where at the bottom there are disabled apps in my other android devices.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently got the G1 and used my Gmail account online (via computer) to setup my contact list and then sync it to my G1. Now when I compose an SMS message, and begin typing the name of the person in my contact list, only some of the names that match will appear in the drop down auto-complete list but others that match don't show up at all. To compose SMS to them I have to use the Contacts>Scroll to contact>Select text to mobile method. Any ideas why some of the contacts do not show up in the auto-complete list when composing an SMS and typing in a partial name in the To field?
