I have been trying to find the auto answer on the x 10 for my bluetooth as a drive a lot with my job. My old Nokia used to so I think this sate of the art thing should have one.

My manager has just bought himself a new Xperia X10 and he has setup the bluetooth connection, however when its paired to the laptop and a call comes in the laptop automatically answers the phone for him, so he has to switch the bluetooth off on his laptop until he needs it. Is there an option either on the laptop (Win XP SP3) or on the phone to stop this happening, the only features he really needs are file transfer and to use it as a modem.

I can connect to the hands free but I have to manualy reconnect everytime I get into the car. Is it in a parallel universe where the time lasts forever? That would definitively explain why you only post 1 answer in a week. OK answer might be the wrong word, you sum up the obvious. So Jeff plz tell me that I am right otherwise you should perhaps rethink if you are the right person for this job.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI usually tap the off button to turn off the screen when I put my phone inside my front pants pocket. I even have the security feature on so when I turn on the phone, I first have to draw a pattern to unlock it. However, I've noticed that sometimes after I've done all this, my X10 seems to be doing stuff on it's own, ie) downloading pic from the net, sending random text messages, randomly calling contacts. I know because sometimes after I "unlock" my phone, I see that the phone is in the middle of doing something. I thought by turning on the security feature, it's supposed to prevent accidental taps on the phone and doing random things while inside the pocket.

Love my fone so far, but had not too much time playing with it so far, but one thing that bugs me is that my screen auto lock straight after a call even if I am not back to my home screen, how can I stop it to do this. The best way is to kill the unnecessary apps that load when the phone starts and persistently load themselves at intervals.Is there a way or an apk to download to select the apps that we allow to auto-run? View 2 Replies View RelatedI've checked the "orientation" box in the "sound and display" settings menu, but the Home and Menu screens will not auto-orient when my X10 mini pro is rotated. It only works when the keyboard is slid open - applications don't seem to have this problem. This is a recent issue, probably in the last couple of days. i've tried reinstalling the software via PC Companion and SEUS, in addition to a "factory reset," but they haven't solved anything. Is there something wrong with the accelerometer or is it a software issue that can be resolved with the next software update (2.1)?
