Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Auto Answer Via Laptop Bluetooth

My manager has just bought himself a new Xperia X10 and he has setup the bluetooth connection, however when its paired to the laptop and a call comes in the laptop automatically answers the phone for him, so he has to switch the bluetooth off on his laptop until he needs it. Is there an option either on the laptop (Win XP SP3) or on the phone to stop this happening, the only features he really needs are file transfer and to use it as a modem.

I have been trying to find the auto answer on the x 10 for my bluetooth as a drive a lot with my job. My old Nokia used to so I think this sate of the art thing should have one.

I have the Sony Ericsson Xperia X10. I have a ford Mondeo car which has a built in bluetooth. I can connect to the hands free but I have to manualy reconnect everytime I get into the car. I was wondering if there was anyway to get the X10 to connect automatically as all my previous phones used to.

the different timezones you cannot always answer in 24 hours, but atm I am really asking myself in which timezone do you actually live? Is it in a parallel universe where the time lasts forever? That would definitively explain why you only post 1 answer in a week. OK answer might be the wrong word, you sum up the obvious. So Jeff plz tell me that I am right otherwise you should perhaps rethink if you are the right person for this job.

When I take a call and I'm listening to music it stops when ringing but then it starts playing when I'm trying to talk, the only way I can hear is if I hang up and go and kill the mediaplayer i'm using. I thought it was just mediascape being weird but I switched to mixzing and it still does it! Has anyone else had this?

Is anyone having serious problems with their call waiting? When I get a call while in a current call, my phone automatically puts the first call on hold, and answers the second call without giving me the option.

Recently got my X10 Mini Pro. When driving my motorbike and listening to the radio with the handsfree headset I want to answer incoming calls without touching any button. This I could do with the P1, and X1 phones, but the X10 Mini Pro seems to miss this great feature. Could there be an update or some add-on for Android phones I could download to get this feature?

i want to go to internet in my laptop through my phone internet when they are connected throgh usb port. any one knows how can that be possible. i had done this with my another phone sony ericsson k800 with selecting phone mode when i connect phone and laptop together but my xperia doesn't have this option. I had to deactivate the Google account (due to a privacy issue) that I was using on my laptop and it was the one I was using on the phone also. Now that I've deactivated it, I am no longer able to use the android apps, or change things within the phone because on not being able to log into that account. The login page comes up with the old account asking me for my password, but of course, like I said, it is no longer in use, and it doesn't let me change the user name as I've made another goggle account. I have tried to change things in the settings, but all I've done it seems is to have screwed it up more.

I got an X10 mini pro. It feels great. I tried Internet access but I don't know how I get that without using my telephony operator (and being charged for every byte transferred).
I have internet connection home on my computer. I thought connecting my X10 mini pro to my computer through USB would be enough to have free internet and download from Android Market among other things. However, it doesn't work like that. I tried to activate "Airplane mode" so as to cut off al wireless connections and use USB "forcing" my X10 mini pro to look for th internet that way but it does not have internet access through USB connection with my computer (Internet works great on my computer).

Seems to be some confusion on this issue. Do you know if there is a way to get the X10 to act as a "modem" of sorts when tethered, so I can use my laptop in remote areas where there is no land line or WiFi access (but you can get a cell phone signal).

I was wondering if there is an option to setup "auto answer" (like if my phone is connected to my car via bluetooth) for incoming calls. My old phone (LG Dare) had an option to auto-answer the call after the second call, not sure if there's an option for this (I tried looking under advanced bluetooth settings).

I usually tap the off button to turn off the screen when I put my phone inside my front pants pocket. I even have the security feature on so when I turn on the phone, I first have to draw a pattern to unlock it. However, I've noticed that sometimes after I've done all this, my X10 seems to be doing stuff on it's own, ie) downloading pic from the net, sending random text messages, randomly calling contacts. I know because sometimes after I "unlock" my phone, I see that the phone is in the middle of doing something. I thought by turning on the security feature, it's supposed to prevent accidental taps on the phone and doing random things while inside the pocket.
