Anyone having this problem when they receive a MMS message. Message gets delivered but each pic shows up as an individual attachment not a slide show so I have to click on each one then click view, very annoying. HTC incredible

Is this possible? Seems like a simple matter of just clicking on each picture, for example, but it only says "Choose one" at a time.

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy Background. Currently I am a .NET Developer working mainly with databases. Taking an interest in Android development by creating my first app. To understand it all, I am just trying to create a data collection application.
For example, collecting user information. My main activity will show a list of users and a button to add a new user. So, I created a new activity for the add a new user form.
I am using eclipse, with the normal AVD (ARM (armeabi-v7a)). I can successfully take the user to the add new form, no real issues with that. However, when I run the app in the AVD, I see my main activity (or the actual app) and the add new user activity as an app.
Is there some way to define the main activity for the app?
I have an interesting problem and I was looking for a solution; Hoping that someone here can help me out.(I did read through related questions on this topic but they have solutions which are not relevant to my situation).I have two activities. One is a simple list view to list available audio tracks. Another is a complex audio toolbar with controls to play/pause, ffd, and reviewing the currently playing audio.The audio toolbar uses a wrapper class that wraps the Android MediaPlayer object and this wrapper class is a singleton object. Which means that I eventually wish to use the audio toolbar anywhere in my app and control the singleton instance of my MediaPlayer wrapper.For this reason, I cannot have the audio toolbar and the audio listview in the same activity since I want the toolbar to be a separate entity altogether that pops up whenever the user wants to control the music, without having to see the listview.Now, since the user would pop up the toolbar from anywhere in the app, I would love to know of a way to combine the current activity and the toolbar activity into one screen.I do know that one option available to me is dialogs. I was looking for a more elegant solution where I could have the audio toolbar pop up at the bottom of the screen the user is on, without exiting the activity he is currently doing.Anyone know of a way to do this? I didn't come across anything for this in the docs but if someone does know, even pointing me to the correct docs would be extremely useful.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIn the Google Music app my songs are showing up 3 times, same when I try to set an alarm with a song. Only the last of the 3 of any song will play. I'm unsure what I need to clear to fix this. I wiped my cache's in CWM and rebooted but it didn't change anything. They were coming up the same in PlayerPro but I did a refresh tracks in app and it fixed it. App that are giving me problems are Google Music, N7 & the stock Samsung player. So I'm assuming it's not an app issue as it does it on different ones. I'm running the latest Perfection ICS rom.

I've tried from the email, saving to the phone and then trying to watch in a media viewer and I can hear everything fine but not see any video. Is there some setting I don't have set correctly or is this a flash issue that will hopefully be fixed with 10.1 later this year?

I have tried searching around here and it seems the EVO folks are stuck as well. Would Google really stop us from doing something so essential? And I know you can in HTC Mail, but I have notification issues with HTC Mail that I can't deal with (like the notification sound continuing perpetually when a new email arrives).

Whenever my wife emails me a picture of our dogs (no kids so these are our kids) it always comes through as "photo" so when I download it saves as that. Now if I don't go back into the picture viewer and rename it the next time i try to save a photo attachment it tries to overwrite the last one as its comes in as "photo". Is there any easier way of renaming these attachment without having to go into picture viewer and renaming the last one first? Basically I'm want to do a "save as"

View 1 Replies View RelatedUsing a droid incredible and sync with exchange. Tried to attach to songs from phone in a new email to myself. The email sat in the outbox and would not deliver. Deleting the email also deleted the files off the file system (or sending an email deletes the file?)

Any way to get these songs back? I tried reseting the phone but that didn't work.
I have a non-rooted 2.2 Inc with the 2.3 version G mail app. Since updating to 2.3, I can no longer preview/download attachments. The app gets stuck on "Fetching Attachment" and eventually force closes. I've sought help from Google but there's no official answer to this issue. Does anyone here have any advice? I've even gone so far as to do a factory reset, but to no avail. Like many of you, the Incredible is my workhorse on the road and I desperately need the ability to open attachments.

Tried opening files from email with pdf reader program and quickoffice or whatever its called. Neither type of file would open. Tried to download then open files with same problem. Files are definitely .pdf and .doc, just opened and rad them on laptop now. Also confused...is there any way to look at my SD card folders and files through a phone app? Can't figure out how to see anything other then my music and photos.

It just happened again to me in the middle of testing a new game, which is the first time I've seen it happen during one of my games. The game had been loaded for about a minute and I was playing and everything was fine and then the phone locked up and this was in the log:

The waitForCondition messages kept logging every second until the phone (Nexus One) rebooted itself.
This continued until the device rebooted. As you can imagine, process 29487 is my game. 74 is (I think) system service. Both got hung up and my game certainly didn't do anything to cause this. I just use a GLSurfaceView and a normal logic thread. Nothing special, no hacks.
This is not the first time I've seen it - it can be reliably reproduced when flipping orientations on a live wallpaper service and doing the proper context/display destroy and new EGL init on orientation change. It happens almost instantly there. It's actually plaguing my live wallpaper because I haven't found a workaround for it yet.
I've also seen this happen once before to RenderScript, so perhaps it is OpenGL-related?
I feel like there is a bug down there in the depths of Android....
