Nov 11, 2010I have checked the settings and I have the "delete from server" box checked and I went onto the server and the emails are not there but when I delete the emails on the app, they will disappear until the next time it refreshes itself. This is getting very annoying and it is crowding my inbox heavily. Anyone else having this problem or know how to fix it?

May 14, 2010I'm sure this may have been discussed or gone over but i seriously have no time right now to search for answers, I'm lucky i have time to post this thread but Ive been wanting to do it and get answers.
First off, i love the phone however there are some issues Ive come across.
(1) Deleting multiple messages/emails, can the emails/msgs just be selected (highlighted) all at once and deleted? its very very tedious to delete each and every one individually.
(2) While I'm talking about deleting emails, Ive come across an issue where some emails delete but then reappear, kept trying to delete them and they kept reappearing, whats going on here?
(3) My address book is a mess, it somehow has facebook people added into all my other numbers, anyway to undo all that somehow?
(4) Clock --- Is there a app to have the clock displayed sideways while i sleep? i have the verizon belt clip and turning it so the phone lays sideways on table works perfectly BUT the clock doesn't display sideways, isn't that horrible!?
(5) How do you refresh a browser page?
(6) Voice Dialing --- I use a Blue Parrot Bluetooth, the phone is not recognizing when i push the button on the parrot to voice dial someone, or isn't this phone capable of voice dialing? The blue parrot worked great on my blackberry.
Thats all i can think of right now, I'm sure most of them can be answered.

Aug 9, 2010I go to the trash icon on the email app and go to delete the emails from 2 weeks. It takes FOREVER to delete them all. And I still havent deleted all of them. I go to delete like 4 of them and it takes at least 10 seconds just to delete 4 of them.

May 16, 2010Just curious, is there a way (or an app?) that will help me auto delete texts after a certain time frame has passed? I ask this because I have 2 threads that take EXTREMELY long to load due to the large number of texts within each (one has 1,300 texts, the other has 940). It is starting to get annoying having to wait 7-10 seconds for the thread to load. I have actually tried manually scrolling up and deleting the oldest texts but that was just WAYYY too much work and it took probably a good minute just to get to the top.

Except that I can't figure out how to do a couple of things. 1. Is there a way to select and delete multiple emails on the phone and 2. How do I get rid of all my spam mail that comes in on the laptop (and gets filtered out there). Do I have to set up some kind of email push program so that the email comes in from my computer (already filtered) instead of from the server? You can see my learning curve is steep.........

Nov 16, 2009I got the Droid on the day it came out, set up my email account that I have at GoDaddy.com with IMAP, and now on my GoDaddy webmail there is a new folder that has been created called "Sent." This is in addition to the folder that is called "Sent Items" that is already there by default. My problem, in addition to the new "Sent" folder, is this Every time I send an email from my phone, the message goes to the recipient just fine, but in the new "Sent" folder, the message gets duplicated many times. There can be anywhere from a single duplicate, to many, many more...so much so that my "Sent" folder over the course of a week, will contain upwards of 20,000 sent messages. The messages seem to continue duplicating also - there will be 3 duplicates for example, then an hour later there will be 9. This is madness!I have another email account (not godaddy) that I also have set up with IMAP and it has NO problems at all.

Feb 10, 2010I've searched and searched so if this issue is already old news, sorry in advance. Problem is, when I send an email through yahoo from my droid, it makes it to it's destination. Then, when I log into yahoo from my pc, the droid has obviously continued to resend the messages. I logged onto yahoo after a few days and the messages I sent had resent 5981 times. This is completly insane. Am I missing a setting or wtf? Again today, after 1 day of sending, it had already resent 1931 times. Any ideas? I truly hope the receiving parties are not getting these but if so, I would love to see the look on their face.

May 28, 2010I've been an Incredible user since the day it came out, and on a scale of 1-10 of familiarity with the phone, i consider myself pretty close to a 10 i know the phone backwards and forwards.Here's the problem - I have an Exchange Activesync and GMAIL account set up on the phone.I tried sending a calendar invite to my GMAIL account this morning, and noticed that the time was showing up as being 1hr off. i.e - in my calendar the event showed at 8:00AM, but in the Gmail calendar entry request it showed 7:00AM.So i checked my time zone in Settings >> Date and Time. It's set to "automatic", yet the time zone is set to GMT -5:00, which is incorrect, since i'm smack-bam the middle of Texas, and am fairly sure i'm in the Central time zone, whereas -5:00 GMT is Eastern Time

May 3, 2010I use outlook 2003 for my email. If outlook is closed on my computer, I get all of my email to my phone. If outlook is open on my computer, I do not get my emails on my phone. Does anyone know how to fix this so I can always get my emails whether outlook is open or not? I think when my local computer receives an email, it removes it from my ISP server. I don't know if this makes any difference or not.
