So I have been problem linking certain contacts lately. I go to find them in facebook and they aren't there. So I decided to try to scroll down and realized that my friends list ends at the letter R. Anyone afterwards is no were to be found. Anyone else have this problem and anyone else have any way to fix it?

Just received my Desire and loving it. My only issue so far is that even though I've selected in the People app only to display Google contacts there seems to still be Facebook contacts appearing, albeit only the ones who have entered phone numbers into their Facebook profile. This causes duplicate entries for the same person in messaging apps (default and Handcent) and in the People app it seems to prefer to show the Facebook contact details rather than the Google ones.

I certainly have a lot more friends on Facebook then I care to have in my phone-book. Is there a site where we can petition this issue?

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince the 2.2 update I have had double Facebook birthdays showing in my calendar. 1 from the old method of posting the URL in google calendars and the other from Facebook under the calendar option. After trying over and over to erase the original way from my phone with no luck, I decided to just delete my Gmail calendar all together and then reload it onto my phone. Once I did that, I restored my Gmail calendar and made sure the Facebook calendar option is checked. Now, I have NO Facebook birthdays at all. No matter how many times I check, uncheck and refresh the calendar, the birthdays refuse to come back.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIve had the incredible since it came out i thought i would just get used to not having all my facebook contact numbers in the same "list" as my normal contacts but i haven't and idk if im the only one with this problem but is there a way to get facebook numbers and such to be added to favorites or anything like that cuz there a couple of friend i haven't talked to or anything cuz i forget i have there number i mean the Droid was able to what the heck htc.

When you go into People and hit Search "magnify icon". That thing pops up everybody in Facebook.
Also, when you go to Phone, and start typing it pulls up Facebook contacts.
I don't mind the sync from Facebook to people I actually talk to that are in my phone. I just don't want to see every FB friend. Am I missing another setting?
Hey guys, quick question regarding facebook syncing with your phone contacts
I think this is a cool feature as long as it only syncs with the names in your contact list, but not adding all your facebook friends to your phone, but I was wondering,
Does syncing all these pictures and e-mail with contacts (say you have 2-300) use up a lot of storage space?? Would it be better to not sync them for the sake of storage?

I logged out of Facebook through the Android App then logged in and all is well. I dont know why it had to come to that, it should do it automatically.I have even done battery pulls which should theoretically log me out, oh well, it works now.I have done some searching around and there was a problem with Facebook a couple weeks back, but I dont think this has anything to do with that. I added a new friend on Facebook on the 25th of July, I also added them manually into my People on my Inc. For whatever reason when I go to the Link part of the contact and go to the Facebook Link, it says to pick from my friends. He does not show up in my friends if I am browsing through the link area. I can go to facebook from the phone and from the computer and he is there. It is making me insane.Also the profile pics are not updating, and havent for many months. My wife's picture has not changed on my phone's end in 4 months, but on the actual Facebook site it has.

I have the facebook refresh interval at 30 minutes and all notifcations off (since they dont work)Under "people" I have all the facebook options checked. View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded from an Eris to the Incredible.. when the 2.1 came down OTA for the Eris I could then go into my people, click on their picture which then brought up a menu with photos that represented actions (call, text, email, etc.) One of these pictures was a Facebook icon. This brought me right to that persons Facebook profile using the Facebook for Android widget. Now that I have the Incredible, this Facebook icon is not there. What's up with that? I mean I can click on their name, then "go to Facebook profile" but this isn't the same I can only then access their info and/or wall, none of their photos, etc. This phone makes me actually have to go into the Facebook for Android widget itself then search friends and then get to someone's profile. I miss the icon option on my Eris, but they both run 2.1, shouldn't the Incredible have this option too?

Does this still work the same way for HTC's Sense UI?I know that you can synch your Facebook account to the Incredible but does it actually make all of your contacts your Facebook friends? This is a feature I would like alot because all of my friends that I am close with are my FB friends and I really like having all of my contacts have pictures and their full names.

I have my google contacts all set up and they are the only things I want in my phone book. I know in "people" I can just show google, but when I got to dial a number, all of my facebook friends with numbers show up too. For some reason they are showing up in my google contacts too (when I log into gmail on my computer). It is nice how the facebook picture syncs with my contacts, but that is all I want, not everyone on else facebook who are not in my google contacts.

Also when I got to Settings>Accounts and Sync it won't let me add the "Facebook" Account (not facebook for HTC Sense) When I press "Facebook" it doesn't respond. I thought if I linked regular facebook instead of the one for HTC sense that my contact problem would be solved but it is not letting me do this. Any one else have the same problem?
