Is there anyway to hide the background on widgets? For example, the htc calender or bookmark widget, I'd like to make the background clear. I've seen this done before on the pics posted here so are they using a certain app or something?

Is there any launcher/Mod or app or way to do this?? I mean on launcher screen you tap twice (double-click) to hide icons and all the stuff on the screen, So only wallpaper shows?? I have this feature on my desktop (with Fences Pro).

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just bought Beautiful Widgets 3.0 off of App market and have been trying to add the Beautiful Home Weather widget on my home screen. However, no matter which weather skin I choose, the weather images are running off of the background on the bottom as if the background image is not long enough. I tried a few skins, but they all look the same. Is there an option I need to toggle or something?

I realize that Handcent does this, but I am not the biggest fan of this on the Incredible, I really did enjoy it on the Droid though. On the topic of Handcent's blacklist, does this block text messages from people on the blacklist or does it just hide them?

For example, it just searched my SD card and came up with an "icons" folder that contains various program icons. Is there seriously no way to tell it not to appear in HTC album? On windows mobile we had to resort to registry edits to correct this, but I'm afraid we can't do that on android... Also, is there serious no subfolders? So I can't have something like: Photographs -> Family -> Pets

I like that I can get their pics, email, other phone numbers, etc. What I don't like is that my phonebook has 100 contacts from Facebook that I will never ever call. Is it possible to hide these 'crap' contacts from the phonebook while still being able to sync with my good contacts?

View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to kill widgets, apps, and sense for that matter, for a period of time then have a way to restart them. For example I go to an amusement park and want to make sure i get the whole day out of the phone w/o recharge, can i kill all the widgets etc and just leave it as a "phone" with calling in/out and SMS / MMS stuff, maybe browser, then turn it all back on at the end of the day with out having to start each thing individually?

It has been raining hard all day, and even with GPS update activated, it said it was cloudy all day and it seemed to be about 4-5 degrees off every other site.
Is anyone else having Beautiful Widget mis-weather info?

View 2 Replies View RelatedSo what I'd like to do is take fonts from some of the free font packs available from the market, and use them as fonts in Beautiful Widgets.I've installed them, but BW doesn't see them. I've copied the font .apks over to my sdcard so I can play with them, but from there I'm lost. Do I pull the fonts out of the .apks with 7zip and push them to a particular directory in adb?I could also be completely wrong and not know what the hell I'm talking about. Any advice would be great.

Is there any way to get the launcherpro widgets in sense? I know the opposite can't be done, but I figure since I paid for the extra widgets, it would be cool if I could use them outside of the launcher. And I know, launcher pro is awesome...I have beautiful widgets and I know that is almost the same but the weather animations are a pain because they come up on any screen and in my apps and I have to tap to clear them and then I can scroll. With sense I just unlock and scroll and I like that alot better right now.
View 17 Replies View RelatedSo I got the ADW.Launcher and I'm finding it to be FANTASTIC, much better than Sense and Launcher Pro IMO. I FINALLY got skype and it's amazing too. The big thing those it that I finally threw some widgets onto my desktop - namely You Tube, Google Search, and the Power Control thing. The power control is really nifty and makes it so easy to control blue tooth, wifi, gps. Are these going to kill my battery life? I don't' use live wallpapers and I make sure I don't have a ton of apps running in the background.

Instead when I select them I am taken to a screen with uninstall and details as choices. Usually if I tap the widgets they are placed on a home screen where they can be launched.
