The site is uses a Kobo ereader and they sell them at the Borders bookstores. I am just thrilled to finally find someplace that has an easy access to purchase current books for my little Droid.

May 12, 2010The only thing I have a problem with so far is how the standard ring tones are continuous. there is no break in between. it's like a non stop ring. I tried downloading one similar to see if that would give me the break I'm looking for. But it must be the phone causing this because the downloaded tone did the same thing. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

This is with texting, a few phone calls, using the application store a few times, reading and updating my status. I have had the phone almost a week and I have been on a mission to get great battery life.

May 7, 2010With all the doom and gloom threads around here it makes one feel that the phone is a complete dud and no one is getting good signal strength. "If you hold the phone wrong your dBm signal strength drops by 20!" "The battery doesn't last through the day!" etc. etc.I know usually it's a "vocal minority" thing but the sheer volume of complaints on this forum is worrying me.Is anyone here having a more or less flawless experience with the Incredible as far as phone calls are concerned? I.e. are you getting good 3G reception as compared with prior phones you've had on VZW and so forth?I am really REALLY on the fence between the Incredible and the Motorola Droid and I don't want to regret getting the Inc if these problems are blown out of proportion.

but to break it down, while trying to pick just one ringtone I thought of how cool it would be to be able to select several ringtones and have the phone play one upon an incoming call. Either a song/ringtone is selected at random or they are cycled through...am I making sense?

May 7, 2010I going to want to make my own ringtones soon, and I am wondering what everyone recommends is the BEST or better way for me to get my music onto my phone and storing it. For example, is it better to put music on my phone with the music app, clip and cut my ringtone in that app and store my tones that way.
Or is it better to clip up a song on my computer using something like Audacity and then send it to my phone via Bluetooth or USB Tethered? And if I did do it that way, where would I store it on the phone, folder, some in depth storage preference? I am a new Smart phone user, so I am looking for the best way to store my ring tones on the phone without making it bogged down and the best way to make my tone and transferring it to my phone.

And as far as I've seen, the Incredible doesn't come with such an app. Anyone else? Go to Features then Feature Apps, then Gallery Apps.

May 14, 2010I want to put ringtones on my phone but I am not sure where to put them. On my SD card I made a directory media/audio/ringtones. when I tried to set a custom ringtone for a contact it didn't list the ones I put on the card. I also tried (With Astro) to place them in the same directory on the phones storage and it wouldn't let me paste to the directory. Are all ringers and notification sounds in mp3 format?

May 2, 2010I've been having issues with my downloaded ringtones through Zedge not playing after I've set them as my ringtone... also, when my phone rings, I have the number as a contact in my phonebook but it won't show on caller ID. In other words, it will show the number, but not who the number belongs to.
I think my SD card is giving me problems... every once in a while it will say I have no space on the SD Card (It also says I have like 7gb left open when I pull it up online), and won't let me save videos or pictures I'm taking.

May 20, 2010I noticed this morning that my alarm didn't make a sound when it went off this morning. Fortunately it was set to vibrate and I heard that. I than noticed it didn't ring when I received a call. I had my GF send me a txt and no sound with that either. When I go into setting to change my ringtone none of them play. The volume button beeps when I hit it and I other apps that play sounds are working fine.
