The only thing I have a problem with so far is how the standard ring tones are continuous. there is no break in between. it's like a non stop ring. I tried downloading one similar to see if that would give me the break I'm looking for. But it must be the phone causing this because the downloaded tone did the same thing. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

View 11 Replies View RelatedI notice that most android apps have some sort of standard in that they all look similar. Most of them have some sort of list of Text that are click-able. It's somewhat hard to explain but they look really nice and I was wondering is there some sort of tool or api that allows me to change the look of an app to make it similar? Or do I have to specifically specify the different fonts and different graphics?

Finally deleted the account and recreated it, but then when it tries to sync, it just syncs forever and never finishes. I am only trying to sync the email, not the calendar and contacts.

but to break it down, while trying to pick just one ringtone I thought of how cool it would be to be able to select several ringtones and have the phone play one upon an incoming call. Either a song/ringtone is selected at random or they are cycled through...am I making sense?

For example, is it better to put music on my phone with the music app, clip and cut my ringtone in that app and store my tones that way.
Or is it better to clip up a song on my computer using something like Audacity and then send it to my phone via Bluetooth or USB Tethered? And if I did do it that way, where would I store it on the phone, folder, some in depth storage preference? I must say LP is kinda cool, gives you a different feel of the phone. Right now i'm only using one screen, and 1 dock (not multiple dock screens), but i guess i'm just trying to find out if this is actually any different than the normal senseUI. I see there are limited icons, and we can either use the LP icons, or the default icons, but maybe there is an expansion pack for LP that i'm not understanding? Also, what are you guys using as a clock. With LP, i can only add the analog clock, or other wigdet clocks i've downloaded, but can't load 10 clocks that came with the phone. I'm assuming those are senseUI clocks, and will not work with LP. Should i download clock widgets that will work with LP? Also, since i'm only using 1 screen, and 1 dock, and i really not utilizing LP to the max here ? I should be using the dock more, and using it for more applications to quickly pull up right? Does anyone have any advice on how to customize it a little bit to make the experience more enjoyable, or make it worth the while ?Also, battery life? Any difference? Is it the same? I have ATK that i run every once in a while to kill some buggy apps/games, I noticed that LP is running and taking up a good amount of resources, has anyone reported a really bad battery due to LP being installed?

I think we can *all* agree that our Incredible spends more time in idle mode as opposed to actual screen-mashing, voice jabbering, finger pinching usage time. So if one person's battery drops 6% in an hour of standby, and another's only drops 1%, what is the problem? And more importantly, what is the solution?

View 5 Replies View RelatedRunning R11, pretty much everything is sorted out except that I'm getting continuous MMS FCs. This happens with the default MMS that comes with R11, Handcent does it, and I'm trying to dig up a copy of the stock TwMms, but, haven't found that to try it yet. I've reflashed the phone to a couple of different ROMs and flashed back to R11 and it still happens. This is the best ROM of all the ones I've tried except for this issue.

On my SD card I made a directory media/audio/ringtones. when I tried to set a custom ringtone for a contact it didn't list the ones I put on the card. I also tried (With Astro) to place them in the same directory on the phones storage and it wouldn't let me paste to the directory. Are all ringers and notification sounds in mp3 format?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI would LOVE to have any of my LED flash notifications from missed calls, text messages, or voice-mails flash continously UNTIL I acknowledge or clear them. Right now, the notifications flash for a few minutes then time-out.
1. Does anyone know how I can keep these notifications flashing until I clear them WITHOUT a 3rd party app? If so, please do tell... If not, what app would you suggest?
2. Lastly out of curiosity, anyone have a clue what the "pre-determined" time frame is before the flashing times itself out?
I've been having issues with my downloaded ringtones through Zedge not playing after I've set them as my ringtone... also, when my phone rings, I have the number as a contact in my phonebook but it won't show on caller ID. In other words, it will show the number, but not who the number belongs to.
I think my SD card is giving me problems... every once in a while it will say I have no space on the SD Card (It also says I have like 7gb left open when I pull it up online), and won't let me save videos or pictures I'm taking.
Anybody got a place to get free ringtones? I was using funformobile.com but it won't open up on my dinc
