I have used and set up torrent fu, so I know about that. What I want to do is send torrents directly from a site to my computer. Example I sign into site xyz and I see torrent A I want to download it onto my home p.c. from my incredible is there an app for that.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got my new Droid X (2.2-rooted) and I have downloaded the wifi tether app from android-wifi-tether and I want to set up a secure, private connection in general for my laptop and phone as well as for downloading torrents on my laptop through my phone. I tried using the TOR/Orbit app but it's not working. I use Peerblock/Vuze on my laptop that will be handling my torrents but am not sure if that will keep me private over my wifi tether... I would think not. Please help me if you can. Any suggestions on configurations that would help me do this? I also just heard something about Torrent-Fu... not sure what that is yet but maybe it will help as well.

In between I think I flashed a clockwork recovery mod through rom manager. Now my torrents won't start and get no peers. I've tried utorrent and bittorrent.

My evo wont do anything once paired to my computer via bluetooth. i paired it successfully, then later i wanted to send a file from my phone to my computer via bluetooth, (i have ftp enabled) and told my computer to expect a file and nothing. it doesn't work. also when i check the pairing profile on my computer, under services it is COMPLETELY blank, there should be some services like dial-up modem and bluetooth speakers and stuff shouldn't there be?
here is what i want to be able to do.
1. i want to send files from my EVO to my computer via Astro Bluetooth.
2. i would also like to use my laptop speakers via bluetooth, example, play Pandora on my phone using my laptop speakers via bluetooth connection
that is really all i want to do but i cant get ANYTHING working. could this be solved by rooting my evo? i really just wanna be able to do basic bluetooth functions with my phone.

I use "Torrent" app client. Most of the time Torrent display "No suitable network" error. If i turn on the screen, problem not fix.

I simply want to save all the pictures I take with the phone to the SD card so I can transfer the entire file later to dedicated photography software to be cataloged and tweaked.
I can't find how to set up the system so that every photo goes directly to the SD card by default.

View 2 Replies View RelatedNow I have dropped my Inc many times (I have the rubber case) and never had a problem. Well on Sunday I was coming home from the airport and dropped it perfectly about 3 feet directly on the screen on a rock and kablooey, it was shattered. I mean ruined to the point where you couldn't touch it without getting cut. However it actually still worked perfectly, but for obvious safety reasons I needed to get a new one. To make a long story short I got Verizon to send me a new one, and I couldn't be happier. Now they explained that I didn't receive a new one or a refurbished one, rather one that was returned immediately by someone.
It looks great, works perfectly and is running faster and smoother than my old one did. This is even after I did a backup from AppBrain to re-download over 130 apps. My only sadness is that I lost all my levels on Angry birds, and that I had to reset up my phone with all the little personalizations that I had before. Has anyone else had a similar experience with their replacement. My old phone (one that had received the update) It was constantly bogged down, and got better once I did a factory reset, however it still wasn't as smooth as my new one.
Any idea what's the best option I have to purchase and download entire music ALBUMS directly on my phone? Sorry, this is my first smartphone, so I don't know much. Are there any apps for it? Someone told me "Amazon MP3 Store" for Android. I went to MarketPlace and searched for "Amazon" but could not find any Amazon MP3 App. I tried to purchase an album from amazon.com, but it says I need to install an "Amazon MP3 downloader" to purchase albums and it does not give me an option to download a version for the Android OS (however, it asks me to select one of 4 linux distributions). The other option I have is to buy and download individual songs from amazon.com, but I don't want that. I want to download entire albums. What is the best option I have? (P.S: I am not looking for free music).

I am trying to develop an android application which will be able to record a video and send it in real time to a remote computer. The computer then will play it live. I have managed to establish a connection between the android and the computer, and to record a video on the android phone. My problem is, how will I be able to send this video to the computer?
