The new Incredible site lists a Gallery application that brings in your Picasa Web Albums. I've already installed the apk for the Gallery app that was on the Droid. And as far as I've seen, the Incredible doesn't come with such an app. Anyone else? Go to Features then Feature Apps, then Gallery Apps.

I'm using Frankenrom, and used Titanium to restore my email account settings.
Exchange from my PC is being pushed to my phone, but I can't add anything new from my phone. From the calendar program, if I select Menu-->More-->Calendars, my Exchange calendar isn't listed.
Also, if I go to the main Menu-->Account & Sync, there is no Exchange or Activesync listed. If I go to Add Account, I can select Exchange ActiveSync and it has my account info in it. Clicking Save, it just thinks for a bit then closes. Clicking Discard does pretty much the same thing.
Where could I look to manually delete my ActiveSync account?. Basically I'm looking for a config file somewhere to delete. I'm guessing it is like this since I used Titanium to restore account settings rather than setting it up manually.
Has anyone tried the Easy Root App that was listed last night on Droid-Life.com? I see in the Android Market that it lists compatibility for Droid 1 and Droid X and then also shows Droid Incredible. Has anyone had success using this new App to root their Incredible? If so, thoughts? Should you use the Easy Root App or unr EVOked3?

However, I discovered that if I, for instance, put my best friend's cell phone number as a favorite icon I can no longer find his contact to add his home number to a favorites icon. The app seems to allow for only one favorite icon per contact. I am sure I am doing something wrong and there must be a way to have two favorite icons for the same contact but different phone numbers such as home and cell.In addition, sometimes when I add a contact to the Favorites app, the contact is no longer listed or searchable under People. Weird, no?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI want to debug applications I developed on my phone but I can't.I have an HTC One X with Android 4.1.1 and Windows 7x64. But when I run adb devices the list is always empty. Here a few things I tried.
- I have installed HTC Drivers with ot without the HTC Sync Manager
- I am sure USB debugging mode is enabled
- I just downloaded the Android SDK and checked the version it is the most current.
- I tried turning pc or phone on and off again.
- I tried killing adb process and running it over and over again.
- and here my device manager

Am I missing something, if I couldn't find the right drivers where are they, should not HTC's official dirvers work properly?
I have two "download" folders on the SD card. When I mount the card, I only see one folder, so I see only one set of pictures. In the gallery, I can access the other download folder and see the pictures, but when I navigate to what seems to be that very folder, I only see a bunch of apk files. how to "export" the folders from that download folder?

When viewing my gallery I get little thumb nails of each photo. One of the photos is a gray box with a rectangle and a exclamation mark on it. If I click the gray thumb nail, my photo comes up perfect.Why the gray thumb nail?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to set the selection of a Gallery in code. I would like to have the Gallery smoothly roll down a few items over the duration of a second or two. At frist glance, it appears that two members would to the trick:Gallery.setAnimationDuration(int animationDurationMillis); Gallery.setSelection(int position, boolean animate); It turns out that the setAnimationDuration only seems to affect the rubber-bandy "return-to-center" effect of the Gallery. In other words, when a gallery comes to rest after a fling, and a gallery item is off center, the animationDurationMillis is used to control the duration of the Gallery centering up the item. However, the value seems to have no effect on the setSelection. No matter what value is set with setAnimationDuration, the Gallery seems to render about 2 or 3 frames when flying between items 1 and 10 for example. Is this working as designed? Does anyone know a trick or workaround that would let me properly animate setSelection? I'd be especially grateful if we could do it with an "Ease Out" effect.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm making an alternative camera App. As you might expect my App involves taking pictures and saving them to the sdcard. On most phones (and the Emulator) everything works fine, pictures appear in the built-in Gallery App straight away. However on the HTC incredible images only appear when the user restarts the device. (I'm talking about an HTC Incredible phone with an sdcard, I know some of them shipped with internal storage only, but this is not the issue I'm talking about) The code I'm currently trying goes like this: I've also tried MediaScannerConnection.scanFIle() with no luck. I wonder is the problem is due to the HTC incredible being originally designed to operate with internal storage only, maybe the Gallery App has issues with media stored on the sdcard. Of all the review videos I've seen it appears it does not but it might just be they chose not to show that off. I really liked that ability to show 3d stacks of photos sorted by date. Is it possible to use the stock android app for viewing photos instead of the sense photo gallery?

View 2 Replies View RelatedOk everyone. I searched but didn't see anything quite similar so wanted to post. Do any of you know how to remove the Facebook and Flickr tabs at the bottom of the Gallery page? I've attached a screenshot.
They don't go away apparently when I remove the apk files but figured they had to be configured somewhere though it's probably compiled into the gallery app.
BTW: I know I can just uncheck the box in settings to show the tabs but I'd like to remove them completely.
If there is would you please let me know?
