For some reason I cannot send any emails from my phone. They get stuck in "Outbox" and never continue on from there. I have Skyraider 2.5.2 (vanilla) and Radio 2.15.

Any one else have a problem with e mails getting stuck in your outbox? Mine done it yesterday and now today. It kinda seems like once the battery gets below 50 percent it dont send them. Any one know how to adjust settings or keep this from happening.

I Can receive emails, calendar and contacts, but no luck on sending--items just sit in the outbox without error message. My work's exchange server requires 4 digit pin to allow full functionality. Unfortunately Device does not prompt for the pin. need help in fixing this.

I can receive emails to the phone with no problems; the setup was simple and the messages sync'd to the phone quickly. I can't send, reply, or forward messages. The messages stay in the outbox. The replies I seem to find on this topic online seem to be related to IMAP/POP accounts, and this is neither.
View 4 Replies View RelatedFor years now (and on many different phones and Android OS versions), I've run into a reoccurring issue in the Gmail app: now and again, a batch of messages I've told the app to send will get stuck in the Outbox as "Sending" and won't ever send, even after I've rebooted the phone, cleared the cache, insured the phone is online, etc... This only seems to happen when there's some sort of an internet connection issue, but I haven't been able to figure out if it's associated with one particular thing: airplane mode, being out of connection range, having auto-sync or background data turned off, etc... If it was caused by being in one particular state, I'd just avoid sending email while in that state.

I tried deleting and setting up the account again. It seems to accept the pop/outgoing information. However, I get a message after submitting the SMTP information stating "unable to connect to the mail server, server not responding." Is there another email program I could try?

I cant send emails from my phone! i have asked this question a coupple of times and no-one will help. i can recive my emails via the htc mail app but i cant send them, i am using hotmail, and i am on vodafone please can somone find me some settings that work because i cant.

I sent an email with an attachment today and it never got sent, it is still in the outbox folder. So as a test just now, I sent myself 2 emails (one with an attachment, one without) and only one of the two went through (the one without attachment).

So, I've stumbled across the answer: Contacts Groupu. I pulled it from the market, and it syncs with the groups you have in your Google Contacts. When you go to view a group, you can toggle to "check all", then hit email and and watch it plug each email address into the "to" field within the native Gmail app.

I've tried waiting, but it never goes through. I eventually go and delete this "Sending" email from the Outbox. However, I'm able to send/receive with the regular Email client that's set up to my work's Exchange server.

I went into the app and cleared cache/data and It works for a few minutes then back to normal. I've read through previous threads and have seen the same tips and tricks. Is anyone else having issues with their gmail? I'm not sure what else I can do besides re wiping (I don't think it has to do with the ROM I flashed so I'm not running to do this)

When i set it up initially the outgoing server was an ntl one which was suprising as i've always had to use o2 on other phones but it worked a treat on my ntl. but now its only sending mails if i am on home wifi connection not on the 02 network.

So I am sitting here today and i jump in my gmail and notice that the emails i sent are still pending and say " sending ". So I hop in my comcast acct and send them and i find out they received them finally. So I go into my gmail acct and send myself an email on my comcast acct. Its been a solid hour and i got nothing. i never use my gmail but i would like this fixed as i plan to use it. Sorry if duplicate thread, i searched around.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI got the Droid on the day it came out, set up my email account that I have at GoDaddy.com with IMAP, and now on my GoDaddy webmail there is a new folder that has been created called "Sent." This is in addition to the folder that is called "Sent Items" that is already there by default. My problem, in addition to the new "Sent" folder, is this Every time I send an email from my phone, the message goes to the recipient just fine, but in the new "Sent" folder, the message gets duplicated many times. There can be anywhere from a single duplicate, to many, many more...so much so that my "Sent" folder over the course of a week, will contain upwards of 20,000 sent messages. The messages seem to continue duplicating also - there will be 3 duplicates for example, then an hour later there will be 9. This is madness!I have another email account (not godaddy) that I also have set up with IMAP and it has NO problems at all.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSo my inbuilt email app works with my hotmail account and i can send and recieve emails, but it doesnt syncronise so when i delete an email on my laptop and then reload my email on my phone the email is still in the inbox.
Basically i just want an email app that lets me delete things and actually delete them rather than just deleting them on my phone and not on the actual server and obviously being able to send and recieve emails would also be good.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have an LG Optimus V, rooted, 2.2 (not sure what it's rooted to, it arrived that way). It has worked fine (except auto-rotate quit awhile back, I gave up trying to fix it) but for the last 2 days or so, GMail absolutely WILL NOT send. Every single email I try to send, it always gets hung on "Sending..." and it won't move a muscle.
It has nothing to do with the quality of the connection, I'm at home operating over a Wi-Fi.
Moreover, the "Sending..." never goes away unless I "wipe" the phone. Even turning it off & on won't do it, and I have no way of deleting it without deleting the entire conversation. I look up and every email I've sent, EVERY ONE has "Sending...." on the screen, and short of doing a "wipe" it absolutely won't go away.
