Any one else have a problem with e mails getting stuck in your outbox? Mine done it yesterday and now today. It kinda seems like once the battery gets below 50 percent it dont send them. Any one know how to adjust settings or keep this from happening.

For some reason I cannot send any emails from my phone. They get stuck in "Outbox" and never continue on from there. I have Skyraider 2.5.2 (vanilla) and Radio 2.15.

View 3 Replies View RelatedJust today I have three emails that just sit in the "outbox" in "sending" mode and do nothing. I also notice that I will read all of my emails and then the "unread" number still shows, i.e. 4 - and I will wait a while, and log onto gmail.com on my notebook and the ones that I just read are sitting in there unread or undeleted. What gives? I am mostly concerned with them sitting in the outbox. Its been running flawlessly and yes IMAP.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid 2, brand new from Verizon. My company uses Exchange Server 2003 R2. No PIN is required, and OMA is set up for my account. I can receive emails to the phone with no problems; the setup was simple and the messages sync'd to the phone quickly. I can't send, reply, or forward messages. The messages stay in the outbox. The replies I seem to find on this topic online seem to be related to IMAP/POP accounts, and this is neither.

Emails received in that account go to GMail and I can send an email from GMail but put the "from" email address as my school email). I can't figure out how to do this on my Droid though.

I know there's a setting to disable this feature under normal circumstances but i like having my sent copies saved and was hoping that this update will correct this issue.

I Can receive emails, calendar and contacts, but no luck on sending--items just sit in the outbox without error message. My work's exchange server requires 4 digit pin to allow full functionality. Unfortunately Device does not prompt for the pin. need help in fixing this.
View 5 Replies View RelatedFor years now (and on many different phones and Android OS versions), I've run into a reoccurring issue in the Gmail app: now and again, a batch of messages I've told the app to send will get stuck in the Outbox as "Sending" and won't ever send, even after I've rebooted the phone, cleared the cache, insured the phone is online, etc... This only seems to happen when there's some sort of an internet connection issue, but I haven't been able to figure out if it's associated with one particular thing: airplane mode, being out of connection range, having auto-sync or background data turned off, etc... If it was caused by being in one particular state, I'd just avoid sending email while in that state.

The fixes I have found say to clear the cache under applications, but I can't find google mail or google mail storage under applications. I cant find where to reinstall gmail app from either. I am running Cyanogen 5.0.7 stable.

I restored my phone back to factory settings it work for a couple of days and it came back. I upgraded my firmware to Ice cream sandwich 4.0.4 as my last resort but still doing the same thing. View 4 Replies View RelatedI have an LG Optimus V, rooted, 2.2 (not sure what it's rooted to, it arrived that way). It has worked fine (except auto-rotate quit awhile back, I gave up trying to fix it) but for the last 2 days or so, GMail absolutely WILL NOT send. Every single email I try to send, it always gets hung on "Sending..." and it won't move a muscle.
It has nothing to do with the quality of the connection, I'm at home operating over a Wi-Fi.
Moreover, the "Sending..." never goes away unless I "wipe" the phone. Even turning it off & on won't do it, and I have no way of deleting it without deleting the entire conversation. I look up and every email I've sent, EVERY ONE has "Sending...." on the screen, and short of doing a "wipe" it absolutely won't go away.
I'm having a strange bug where text messages don't change their status from "sending" to the timestamp.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI setup my Droid mail system with the Yahoo IMAP servers and everything seemed to be working fine.The only issue is when I send an email from the droid.I sent a test mail from the Droid and it worked fine.A couple of hours later, I checked my sent mail folder on Yahoo Mail on the PC and I had like 15 extra sent mails.It seems to add one every time the Droid checks for new mail, until I delete the sent mail of the droid.Any ideas?

View 5 Replies View RelatedI've been lurking since I got my VZW Droid, and decided to join up so I could get an answer. From day 1 my Droid has been re-recieving the same 5 emails! I get other new email fine, but these 5 just keep coming back! When I get them I select them all and click "Mark Read" and they all change from white to grey, but then maybe an hour later I get the notification and they are all white again! I suppose I could just delete them from my email completely. (This is with a Hotmail account by the way).

About four days later the "like-new" D1 (more accurate term would be like-crap) started doing the same thing. Spent 25min on the phone with an associate and then asked for a manager. Spent 2min with him and should have a D2 today! Moral of the story, go straight to the top. I honestly can't wait to root this bad boy.

I've tried waiting, but it never goes through. I eventually go and delete this "Sending" email from the Outbox. However, I'm able to send/receive with the regular Email client that's set up to my work's Exchange server.
